Koppla av i en mycket trevlig, bekväm, tropiskt inredda, tre sovrum villa med en öppen och delad planlösning. Det stora nybyggda däcket har en gunga, matbord, stolar, schäslong och 2 takfläktar med utsikt över den vackra myren och Dunbar creek som är tillgänglig från både vardagsrummet och sovrummet.

Matsalen, vardagsrummet och badrummen har mycket fina porslinsgolvgolv. Det stora sovrummet har trä laminatgolv. Köket har en ny bänkskiva av kvarts och nya apparater. Det stora sovrummet har en king size-säng, 2 stora garderober, TV, DVD / VCR-spelare och ett privat badrum. Den främre ingången är på markplan med en frontdäck. Många av utskrifterna i hela lägenheten är gjorda av en lokal konstnär och fotografi gjort av mig.

Köket är fullt utrustat för en gourmetkock och alla sängkläder tillhandahålls.

Små eller låga källor av medelstor husdjur under 40 kg är tillåtna. Vänligen dubbelkontrollera med mig på ditt husdjur.

Du kan ta en trevlig promenad till ankedammet eller ta ett dopp i den väl underhållna poolen med schäslonger och bord tillhandahållna. Poolen, som är upplyst på natten har en Gazebo som kan användas som picknickområde.

Du kommer också att kunna gå till Redfern Village med unika presentbutiker, konstgallerier och fantastiska restauranger. Det finns cykelvägar över hela ön som leder från bostadsrätt till stranden, fyren, byn, småbåtshamnar, Fort Frederica och andra historiska platser och intressanta platser.

Om du tar med din egen kanot eller kajak, kan du sätta in rätt framför lägenheten i Dunbar creek och kryssa i träsket.

St. Simons Island har en fyr, fiskebrygga, pittoreska byar, antikaffärer, flera offentliga golfbanor, tre småbåtshamnar, kajakutflykter genom träskarna och stranden, ekobåtsturer, delfinresor, dykningsturer till vrak till havs, flera charter fiskebåtar och naturpontongbåtturer, hyra av segelbåtar, ridning, ett lokalt gym och cykelturer på stranden eller på cykelleder över hela ön. Du kan också köpa färskt lokalt fångad Georgia White Shrimp eller så kan du gå på charterräkebåten, Lady Jane, och hjälpa dig själv att fånga och äta din färska fångst på båten till lunch.

Några av grannöarna att besöka är:

1. Cumberland Island, tillgänglig med färja i St. Mary. Känd för sina vilda hästar och Carnegie Estate.

2. Island Jekyll med sina historiska "stugor" som ägs av Goodyear, Macy, Crane och andra kända företagare. Det historiska Jekyll Island Inn erbjuder söndagsbrunch.

3. Sapelo Island.

St. Simons Island är en härlig plats att gifta sig med. Du kan gifta dig på stranden eller i ett av de många kapellen. Ett bröllopspaket med fotografier finns tillgängligt. Jag är en professionell fotograf.

Wonderfully relaxing location

Rather than being down near the pier village for the month, we opted for this close, yet more private location with the long back porch right on the marsh! The condo had everything we needed and is walking distance to stores and restaurants. Our host was very attentive to our needs and had updated the condo since our last stay there several years ago. Perfect for us and our occasional guests with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. So perfect that we're going back next year!

Good Central Location

Great central location! Close to beaches, shopping, restaurants and historic sites. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. While clean, the interior of this property needs some TLC, as many cabinets, doors, and trim are scratched and in need of paint and/or repair. One negative is the owner requests all paper products be replaced for the next renters...believe this should be the owner's responsibility given a sizeable rental fee and housekeeping fee.

I am sorry you feel that way about some minor scratches on the cabinet door and leaving behind one roll of toilet paper for the next tenant moving in after you. No one else considered it an issue to leave any tissue. That's not a requirement but a request. The maid will go to the store for those supplies if not in the condo. If I had a locked room to keep those supplies in, it would be easier. All closets are available for the tenant use. It was only a few months ago I repainted all the baseboards. I will make sure that whatever scratches are on the cabinet doors and any trim will be painted over ASAP. It would have helped if you had voiced any of these concerns to me directly. I always respond quickly to all tenants concerns.

Enjoyed our stay in St Simons.

Stayed 12/29/18 - 1/31/2019 - The location was perfect. Close to amenities. An easy walk to Red Fern Village. Suzanne was very helpful in making suggestions for food and site seeing. We were able to have some of our family and friends stop in and stay for a few days because it was a three bedroom condo. Loved that it was an end unit because of our dog. Great marsh view from the condo and deck. The neighbors were nice and friendly.

Loved the marsh condo

We have been coming to St. Simon’s Island for the month of March for 5 years now. We have always stayed within walking distance of the pier village, but this year decided to try this great marsh condo. Owner Suzanne greeted us warmly upon arrival and showed us around...very welcoming. Easy walking to Redfern Village’s many shops and restaurants and also to Southern Soul. We, and our guests, enjoyed cocktails on the long deck overlooking the marsh and also spent a lot of mornings out there, watching and listening to the variety of beautiful birds. Beautiful built-in tiled bar in the living room and the 3 bedrooms and 2 baths gave us plenty of room. A bonus we didn’t expect...lovely neighbors!

Great location!

This condo is in a wonderful location and has a great balcony with a beautiful marsh view. It is in such a convenient spot and within walking distance of Red Fern village. The condo is very nicely decorated and has enough space for a family or group of friends. Suzanne was very responsive and helpful in many ways! Saint Simons is a beautiful island and Skiff Landing is a great place to stay to enjoy the many wonderful charms of the island. Thank you Suzanne!!!

Charming Island

Great value, great location! We have spent two winters at Suzanne's properties on Saint Simon's and have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. Suzanne is very accommodating and her end unit condo is in the best location overlooking the marsh. There is a huge deck to read, nap or just enjoy the view. Skiff Landing is next door to a multitude of shops and restaurants and they are within walking distance. Saint Simons is an enchanting place to stay. Lots of flat land for biking and walking, great food, beaches and a charming village.

Great Spot

Enjoyed our Feb. 2014 stay very much. The condo was as advertised in the vrbo posting and the owner provided a great deal of information on local sites, activities & shops as well as great restaurant reviews. Skiff Landing's central location makes it easy to reach all that SSI has to offer. We would not hesitate to return for another stay.

It was a great Summer

Great Condo!

I highly recommend this condo! I lived in the condo this past summer for two months with a few of my friends and we had the best time! It is in the perfect location on St. Simons and provides a welcoming atmosphere. The space in the condo is the perfect amount for anyone that is looking for a beach get away! I loved living in this condo and will always remember the memories we were able to make there!

A Spring Getaway for Northeners

We stayed in this condo for a month and found it to be in good physical shape, quiet and conveniently located. "Downtown" and beaches are a short drive away. Because of the location, many stores and restaurants are an easy walk. The pool is clean and well maintained, as is the entire complex. The owner, Suzanne, is friendly and accomidating.

Sea Island - Marsh Condo

My family, 5 adults, enjoyed the quite and peaceful condo. It met our needs perfectly and close to a few fun restaurants, bike rental across the main street, monkeywrench, neat coffee shop 'wake-up' and some of the best coleslaw I've ever had at 228 Grill in RedFern. this condo is well appointed with everything you would need to relax. There is a delightful porch and two seated swing and a fan overhead to keep you cool. Definately a place to spend a month at. Enjoy

Prior to my move to St. Simons Island in 1986, I never realized how beautiful the area was and was surprised how different coastal Ga was from my preconceived ideas. Georgia has 15 barrier islands and 4 are accessible by car. The islands in the Golden Isles area are quite beautiful! Sidney Lanier describes them in his poem "The Marshes of Glynn".

The people are very friendly and the area is very rich in culture and history and surrounded by the beautiful Golden Marshes, hence the name 'The Golden Isles'. I owned and operated an income tax preparation business in Brunswick, Ga. since 1986 and sold it in 1998. I have lived in Ft. Lauderdale, the Florida Keys and now I currently live in Hendersonville, NC. I look forward to my return visits to St. Simons Island.

I chose to keep my condo and convert it to a vacation rental because I love St. Simons Island and want to always have the opportunity to return to my place inbetween rentals. So I have decorated it very nicely and extremely comfortable. The view is magnificent.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

St. Simons Island has remained quaint, not heavily commercialized. There are no high rises. There are lots of oak trees with Spanish moss swaying with the wind. The lighthouse is attractive and has a great view from the top if you are willing to climb the staircase all the way up. Fort Frederica National Monument preserves the remnants of a fort and town built by General Oglethorpe between 1736 and 1748 to protect the southern boundary of the British colony of Georgia from Spanish raids. About 630 British troops were stationed at the fort. A victorious battle at Bloody Marsh on St Simons Island saved the Colony of Georgia from ownership of the Spanish.
Kayaking with the tides through the Marsh area and observing the wildlife is a very peaceful, enjoyable experience. The beaches are wide at low tide and just Beautiful! Bike riding directly on the beach is possible where the sand is firm enough. It is also very enjoyable riding on the bike paths throughout both St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island and Cumberland Island. Cumberland Island is accessible by ferry and has it's own interesting history and unique beauty. For other day trips, it is less than a 1 1/2 hour drive from the condo to either downtown Savannah, Ga., or Jacksonville, Fl. There are local Shrimpers right there at both St. Simons Island and Darien, Ga. bringing in some of the best tasting Shrimp in the world called 'Georgia White Shrimp'. The shrimp can be purchased directly from the shrimpers or local seafood markets or offered on some menus at the local restaurants. If you love the outdoors, there is plenty to do including scuba diving, golfing, biking, kayaking, exploring, shelling, boating, fishing, shrimping, shopping, etc. St. Simons Island also offers good restaurants and live music at several pubs or coffee houses. And there are often food, art and music festivals nearby.
