Handskrivna timmerhus, hantverkskvalitet med mycket karaktär. Angränsar till LaPine State Park med miles av vandringsleder och cykling. Enkel åtkomst till Deschutes och Fall Rivers för kajakpaddling, forsränning och fiske. Stort däck har utsikt över floden Deschutes. Öppen planlösning på huvudnivå med kakelgolv, kök med granitbänk och frukostkrog. Anpassat enbär i matplatsen har plats för 10 eller mer. Sovrummet på bottenvåningen med dubbelsäng. Fullt badrum. Trappor till loft sovrum med queen size-säng, badrum och separat sovrum med full (dubbelsäng) futon med minne skum madrass. Färdigt dagsljus källare har vedspis, underhållning område med bar, andra full storlek kylskåp, mikrovågsugn, 50 "TV & DVD-spelare med DVD-bibliotek (ingen TV-mottagning), semi-privat sovplats med queen size-säng samt 2 fulla (dubbel- säng) futons med minne skum madrasser. Tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Enastående utsikt över floden och naturen i ett lugnt landskap för dem som gillar utrymme att andas. Vi är söder om Sunriver och norr om LaPine, med enkel tillgång till Hwy 97, och närliggande sjöar och rekreationsområden. Detta är avslappnad komfort som bäst. Inga husdjur eller servicedjur är tillåtna i detta privata hem under några omständigheter på grund av allergier från våra familjemedlemmar. Rökning tillåten inomhus. För närvarande finns det ingen Wi-fi.

Perfect location!! Riverfront, next to a state park, plenty of animals with deer and owls each morning. Deck area is awesome for morning sunrise and evening sunset in summer months. House was great, 3 levels kept our privacy with plenty of room for gathering

Beautiful Spot

We had an amazing stay! Temps soared to the upper 90’s and this spot was perfect for floating the river, short hikes and watching wildlife right at the cabin! Beautiful, well stocked, and spacious! We have put this on our places to revisit!

Awesome Spacious Log House on the Deschutes River

Perfect base camp to experience Central Oregon. Bring SUPs, kayaks, etc. to float the Deschutes launching or taking out from the backyard with a simple shuttle for the pickup vehicle.

Big Space with Great View

This cabin had plenty of space and has the capacity for many more (there were just 4 of us). Kitchen was great, decks were awesome and the view was spectacular. There is a trail to a small deck along the Deschutes River where we spent some time enjoying the quiet river. It was quiet - saw lots of deer, chipmunks and birds. Owner was good at communicating and was accessible when needed. It is a little bit of a drive on back roads to get there but that is the price for the peace and quiet of the place.

A Great Property

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was wonderful and it was so nice to be right along the river. The house was just as described and all communications with the owner were timely and sincere. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it to anyone with a large group looking to stay in the area.

Beautiful log home by the Deschutes River

The log home was roomy enough for myself and 3 friends. We enjoyed the view of the Deschutes river and the wildlife from the decks outside and from the breakfast nook off the kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped to serve a large group with lots of silverware, plates, cups, and glasses as well as cookware. The furniture and beds were comfortable. There is a nice separation of spaces with areas for large groups and quiet spaces for individuals. It would be nice to have a half bath in the daylight basement for guests sleeping there. The home is clean and aesthetically pleasing. Nice place to enjoy peace and quiet. I especially enjoyed petting and talking to the neighbors horses.

Perfect setting

Somewhat on the rustic side, but it is a log cabin in the woods, right on the river, after all.Very relaxing and so quiet. Just you and nature.

Celebration weekend

We celebrated my moms 80th birthday and Father’s Day as well. The house was ideal as there was something for everyone. Several of us fished and the bank area along the Deschutes was ideal. We all really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

Best time ever!

The property was magnificent! Everything was helpfully labeled and clean. Location was perfect. A very miniscule complaint is we couldn't use the fireplace. However, I understand how that would concern the owner. Lots of people are not responsible with their fireplace as we are. Our goal is to rent this property next April. Wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful country

The cabin is gorgeous, roomy and flexible for any number of group dynamics. There was a brief power outage our first night, but the local utility provider got it fixed in no time flat after we reported it, and a good camp light and board games kept it from being any kind of hardship. Lots of outdoor activities and places to visit within half an hours drive (check out the lava tubes!) And easy river access to boot!

Secluded home in the ricer

Spacious log cabin in idyllic location. Sleeps many but most of sleep spots are in open areas. Only 2 beds are in actual private bedrooms. FYI.

Paradise on the Deschutes

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely home and wonderful location. Coffee in the morning sitting by the river as the sun rises….absolutely beautiful. So peaceful! Loved fly fishing right from the property and had fun exploring all the trails. Thanks for sharing your home!

Riverbend Cabin is amazing

First, the setting is beautiful. The river is so calm and there is a nice little easy to navigate trail down to the river and a nice bench on the river bank, maybe 150 feet away from cabin. The outdoor space is lovely, too, two really nice decks with views. The kitchen was well-appointed, but might need to bring your own condiments. There are a few stores within 15 minutes drive so no big deal. We were fascinated by the grandeur of the log cabin. It was so solid, and included so many cool burls, and knots, all treated as design features. We didn't realize there were two bikes for use, but it was listed on the bulletin board which also had other helpful information like the wifi password, and local attractions. One note of caution, the default iphone maps creates a weird address when you enter the correct address. I called Ivan en route and he told us to use google maps, which corrected the problem. Just a little tech oddity to be aware of. Use google maps to find it. Definitely would go back to this lovely home. This is a wonderful property for a family getaway or a multi-family getaway for various ages.

We have the best property in Central Oregon. Shortly after buying this home and well into an extensive remodeling/finishing project, we were told by a neighbor who is a long-time resident of the area that he had always thought we had the best place in central Oregon. The river view, wooded state park adjoining the property, and spectacular character of our custom log home make this property hard to beat. We think you will agree.
