Dionyssos Cave House är ett nyrenoverat och mycket rymlig grotta hus, delvis ristade i vulkaniska berget. Det ligger i Oia, på klippan topp nära den venetianska borgen, där alla samlas för att titta på Oia berömda solnedgången. På grund av dess unika läge, Dionyssos Cave House erbjuder fri utsikt över calderan och vulkan och ligger bara 2 minuters promenad från Oia huvudgata, där alla restauranger och butiker är belägna.

Dionyssos Cave House är ett tvåvåningshus som erbjuder den perfekta komfort och avskildhet för ett parti av upp till 8 personer. Den första nivån, som är den viktigaste delen av huset, har ett rymligt vardagsrum, matplats och ett fullt utrustat kök som också har en Nespresso kaffebryggare. De två sovrummen är också belägna på den första nivån. Varje sovrum har en dubbelsäng och ett badrum. Ett sovrum har två inbyggda soffor också, som kan sova två extra gäster. Dessutom har den första nivån en terrass med fantastisk utsikt över Caldera, som är den perfekta platsen för att ha måltider medan du njuter av utsikten. Terrassen lägre nivå leder till den övre terrassen nivå, via utvändig trappa. På det övre planet finns en tredje oberoende sovrum med en dubbelsäng och eget badrum. Detta sovrum nås endast via utvändig trappa, som är ganska brant, så vi skulle inte rekommendera specifika sovrummet varken för barn eller för äldre gäster.

Det som gör Dionyssos Cave House så unikt, bortsett från dess fantastiska inredning och hisnande utsikt, är den integritet som det erbjuder, eftersom det finns 3 oberoende sovrum som alla har eget badrum, men också ett rymligt vardagsrum och 2 stora terrasser, perfekt för gruppsamlingar.

Great spot

Perfect for 6. Especially if 2 are younger and happy to do the stairs up to the top room. Not so bad we could all do it and the view up there is the best. Great views of the bay, sunrise on both decks. In good condition, clean. Great location near the action and crowds but a little out of the way so actually quiet.

Awesome property and experience

Had a great stay. Nicoletta was fabulous. Among best hosts we’ve experienced in years of travel. It’s true what they say crowded during the day thanks to the cruise ships but locals are extremely friendly. Everywhere we ate that Nicoletta recommended was really good. Definitely worth a visit. And if we get to any of the islands with her other properties will seek them out. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Stunning view with amazing balcony with plunge pool. Great location, convenient to everything. In the heart of Oia. Unique cave bathrooms. Owner was very helpful with planning transfers and excursions.

Eyes on Oia!

The pictures did not do this place justice, the location was perfect and the amenities had everything we needed. We were pleased that the upper porch had easy access from the walking path and not just from the narrow outdoor staircase. Nicoletta ensured that we were met at the port by Chris who brought us directly to our door with the help of staff who brought our luggage. When we were ready for excursions, the team arranged everything that our family requested with prompt communication. We can’t recommend this house and team enough!

wonderful stay in Santorini

My family of four very much enjoyed our stay. The hosts were extremely helpful with all our questions and even set up reservations and excursions for us! The house was very spacious with a gorgeous view and located right in town so not too many stairs to get to shops and restaurants. Some very minor things that could help make the house even nicer is adjusting some of the loose bathroom fixtures and updating the bedding. But certainly a wonderful experience overall!!

Wonderful condo!

Our family of 5 had a great time staying at this condo! It was in a perfect location, short walk to the main town. The condo has amazing views - pictures don't even capture the beauty! Nicoletta and her team were fabulous to work with. They respond to questions very quickly. Nicoletta arranged airport transfers which made the trip so easy. I would highly recommend staying here while you are in beautiful Oia!

Best Oia location

Wonderfully charming, bright and clean cave house with spectacular views. The pictures don’t capture the dramatic and breathtaking views of the town architecture and the sea. And for being right on a popular footpath it was surprisingly quiet at night. Nicoletta and her daughter Alexandra provided white glove service- porter services and airport transport. Definitely recommend!

5 stars is not enough

This property exceeded our expectations! All of the owners' descriptions and renters reviews were spot on but you just can't adequately describe this home. We greatly appreciated the assistance with our bags, the tour of the home when we arrived, the wealth of information about the island that was provided, the superior cleaning staff and all of the amenities. The location and the views were spectacular! I would recommend this property to everyone!

Everything was perfect!

From the online communication before our visit to unfortunately having to check out after a week, everything was great. Nicoletta was prompt in returning answers to our questions before our visit and her or her daughters had everything in place when we got there. All rides were set up and bags taken care of coming and going. The house was beautiful and kept clean daily. The 6 of us had more than enough room and having three baths a huge plus. Can not say enough good things about the whole process.

In the heart of Oia

This property was wonderfully located in the heart of the mountainside viewing the caldera. The vistas were magnificent. The rooms were surprisingly large and very comfortable. Our host was available to assist with our transportation and porter needs. There was a village wide power outage during our stay, but that was not anything the host could avoid. It was not an appropriate property for those with mobility limitations. If you can manage the winding steps to get through the village to the villa you will be well rewarded.

Great place/Great Owner

The Dionyssos Cave House is the perfect place to stay in Oia. The location could not be better with quick access to the village center, shopping, and restaurants. The view is to die for. There are two decks for viewing this incredible view. We were continually pinching ourselves every time we looked out onto the caldera and the gorgeous view. The house easily accommodated 7 adult women. Having a bathroom attached to each bedroom was wonderful. The kitchen, dining, and living areas were spacious and allowed us all to spend quality time together, but also provided space to sit and read, if personal time was needed. As much as we enjoyed the house, the view, and the location, the owner, Nicoletta, is the most incredible of all. One of our party had a health situation and had to be hospitalized. Nicoletta came to our rescue and went to the hospital and talked to the doctors so we knew exactly what was happening. She went above and beyond any of our expectations and found lodging for the daughter of our friend who was hospitalized as they were unable to fly home when planned. They spent an additional week in Santorini and did not have to worry about anything due to the kindness, efficiency, and incredible service provided by Nicoletta. I would recommend the Dionyssos Cave House to any one going to Oia. We will return again someday.

Great location, quiet but yet right in the thick of things. We had “instagram central” at the top of the stairs next to the blue domes so we could watch people posing all day, which we all found highly amusing. But the location of the property is just a few steps down so not on the busy path. Very spacious property with two single beds and one queen in both of the rooms so it’s perfect for families travelling . Also accessed via a outside set of stairs is a private room which was perfect for our teen who was sick of us by the time we got to Santorini. Air con was great and heaven sent. Plunge pool was fabulous. Really can’t fault the property at all it had everything we needed. Perhaps some extra linens kept in the room would be nice. A blanket or two. Our contact with the property manager was great and she arranged all our transfers with their own driver. She was easy to keep in touch with and very responsive. When you arrive there is no way you could find the property alone, so the porter on arrival was a godsend. There are a lot of stairs in Santorini keep that in mind if you struggle. Had to use google translate in order to use the washer/ dryer as it was in German. Might need to put a guide in there for the rest of us. We had a magical trip and this property was great for us.

Great location!

So much to do and very accessible to all parts of the island. It was quiet and yet very accessible. The house was very functional for our group of 6 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I am from Athens, however I have very close ties with two beautiful Greek islands Santorini and Patmos.

As my father’s family is from Santorini I spent all my summers there. Since I am a licensed tour guide, in 2004 I decided to move to Santorini in order to work there. This was a great chance to start renovating my family’s properties in order to be able to share them with people from all over the world.

In addition, many years ago, my mother visited the island of Patmos, fell in love with it and decided to buy two beautiful pieces of land, including very old farmhouses in ruinous condition, that she slowly renovated. In this way, our family and numerous friends enjoyed many unforgettable Patmos Easters and summers. Nowadays, I am responsible for the good condition of the houses that I rent out and share the beauty and special ambiance of this island with our guests.

I am very lucky since my twin daughters, Alexandra and Christina, having completed their studies abroad in hospitality management and tourism, returned to their roots in order to continue and develop what I started. Genuine hospitality, love and respect for the island, as well as the embracement of the local culture define our core values. Nowadays we all share our time between Santorini, Patmos and Athens, and have the honor and pleasure to share our family’s story and our love for these islands, with visitors from all over the world.
