Perfect summer vacation

Nice appartment with a breath taking view. Great pool and easy access to the sea with clear water - ideal for snorkeling. The entire complex is great. Other "calas" in walking distance. We enjoyed our stay to 100%. Would love to come back some day!

Fabulous

Spacious and very well equipped apartment with amazing views from wrap around terrace. Quiet and tucked away but easy walk to local beaches and only a short drive to Begur town. Yvette was very helpful. You will love it!

Appartement vétuste et expérience décevante malgré de bons avis sur Abritel

Nous avons été très déçus par notre séjour dans cet appartement, que nous avions choisi sur Abritel en raison de ses excellentes évaluations. Malheureusement, la réalité ne correspondait pas du tout à ces avis. À notre arrivée, bien que nous ayons convenu avec la propriétaire de récupérer les clés à l'hôtel, la réception nous a dirigés vers une agence à Begur pour les récupérer. Après avoir insisté, nous avons finalement pu les obtenir à l'hôtel, mais après 10 heures de route, cela n’était pas le début de vacances espéré. L'appartement était vétuste et en mauvais état technique : la salle d'eau, la cuisine et le frigo étaient hors d’âge, la literie de mauvaise qualité, l’une des douches ne fonctionnait pas, et la machine à laver, rouillée, était hors service. De plus, la propreté laissait à désirer. À notre arrivée, les lits des enfants n’étaient pas faits et il n’y avait ni serviettes ni draps disponibles. Bien que l'hôtel soit bien situé, il était également assez bruyant, perturbant ainsi notre séjour. Nous avons apprécié nos vacances et le cadre, mais nous ne pouvons pas recommander cet appartement au regard du prix payé. Nous avons signalé ces problèmes à la propriétaire, qui a fait changer les draps des enfants en milieu de semaine et nous a conseillé d'utiliser la deuxième salle de bain, celle de la chambre parentale n’étant pas fonctionnelle. Après cette expérience, je choisirai désormais Airbnb, où les avis me semblent plus fiables.

Fabulous

2nd stay here. Lovely location and amazing views from apartment. Kitchen could do with a re-fresh and soft furnishings need replacing. Its a great base to visit Barcelona & Girona. Sa Tuna & Aquafreida short walks for coffee & snorkelling if you want a change.

Apartment is located in a run down, dated hotel complex on the Mediterranean with breathtaking views. Parking is difficult. Check-in process is substandard. Furniture is old and worn. WiFi instructions not provided. Oven didn’t work. Coffee machine glass pot was cracked. Mosquitoes in apartment were a problem.

Chouette appartement avec localisation d’exception

Appartement spacieux, avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. La localisation de l’édifice est vraiment incroyable, la piscine est très sympa également. Quelques informations supplémentaires sur les consignes à l’arrivée (réception fermée à 21h) et l’immeuble (local poubelle au -2, piscine et accessible par le -5, et surtout appartement loué sans draps ni serviettes seraient bien appréciables) !

Fabulous!

We had a wonderful 2 week stay in Yvette’s apartment. Stunning panoramic view of the bay, the apartment is really roomy for 4 people, it’s a lovely bright sun filled lounge area. Parking in main area can be challenging but we usually found a space in overspill outside gates. The facilities are great here. The salt water pool was so clean and fresh to swim in, the pool bar is nice and lively, you can usually find a sun bed even late morning. There are numerous steps to get right into the sea which is crystal clear, just watch for jellyfish sometimes. All in all it’s a unique place to stay, it has a faded glamour air about it and a fascinating history of the building. The tunnel was nice and cool to walk through when it was really hot. The area of Begur is a hidden gem with amazing coves. We loved it at Cap Sa Sal and would go again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

Magical Location!

Spacious apartment with spectacular views as it benefits from a large balcony facing the sea and surrounding hills. Check-in was a little bit stressful as it's a gated community and there is NO entering before 4pm (our flight arrived into Girona at 9am in the morning so plan ahead if you need to kill time!). There were no instructions given either but was actually straightforward. Ask to be let in at the gate and then collect keys and gate card from the reception desk in the apartment building. The building is quite impressive and the apartment was comfortable. The nearest supermarket is in Begur, a 10 min drive up the hill but you can pre-order bread for the next morning at reception. It's a beautiful spot to relax and unwind - the sea is warm and the sea pool never crowded. Completely recommend!

vacances formidables!

Nous avons passé une semaine dans la résidence, nous avons été ravis! L'endroit est magnifique, la piscine et les transats au milieu des rochers sont vraiment agréables. L’appartement est très agréable. On peut se promener à pied sur les sentiers côtiers pour aller dans les criques voisines. Merci!!!!

Fantastic view over the sea

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in July in Yvette´s apartment. The apartment is exactly as shown on the pictures and had everything we needed, including a Senseo coffee machine and 3 ventilators. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. It has 2 sunloungers and a table with chairs, so you can have your meals outside. There is a permanent sunshade and also another one that you can wind up. There was sun from morning till evening. Sometimes there were some strong winds. The apartment is located in a former luxury hotel with a giant enterance hall with spectacular views. Most guests/ owners were French or Spanish. The sea can easily be reached by taking the elevator to the lower floor and walking through a tunnel that brings you right to the beautiful swimming area. There were plenty of sunloungers by the water, so there was no need to bring our own. The next supermarkets are a 15 min drive away in Begur. But you can order baguettes and croissants at the consierge ´s desk for the next morning. You can easily walk to 2 beautiful coves (Aiguafreda (5min), boat rental , Sa Tuna (15-20min), 3 restaurants) taking the cami de Ronda, starting closeby the apartment. Begur and also several other villages nearby are worth beeing visited. All in all it is a lovely region of the Costa brava, away from mass tourism and we will love to come back.

Appartement spacieux et lumineux avec une terrasse de laquelle on a une vue EXCEPTIONNELLE

L'appartement est spacieux et lumineux. La terrasse a une superbe vue. La propriétaire est joignable et répond rapidement. La résidence est un bâtiment gigantesque et original construit à flanc de falaise mais très calme. Soucis récurrent avec les ascenseurs... Dommage! Mais il y en a d'autres plus loin de l'appartement qui ont l'air de moins bugger. Residence isolée. Il manque un peu d'animation / commerce / restaurants Il faut prendre obligatoirement sa voiture 15 mn pour begur. La région est magnifique. Il y a de nombreuses criques à découvrir.

Location, location, location!

If location is everything, this is a luxury flat. Amazing views from a lovely terrace and sunny all day long. Easy access to the sea and walking paths to Aiguafreda and Cala Sa Tuna. The pool is great and snorkelling along the cliffs is good fun. In Aiguafreda there is a boat rental and a small restaurant that serves very nice lunches. In Sa Tuna you'll find two-tree restaurants and Begur with lots of life, gelaterias and restaurants, is only a short drive away. There is a Spar in Begur, and lagre supermarkets towards Parafrugell. The flat itself is very dated and in need of some maintenance and general updating from beds, pillows, furniture, electrical appliances etc. Wifi only works in common area, and rather poorly. It must have been a wonderful hotel once, and a bit shame that lots of areas are empty and deserted. Some of the elevators didn''t work and a second pool was just closed off and left to decay. But the building was full of people and the main lobby was quite well kept. The garden was beautiful. All in all a great area and nice complex, but the standard of the flat didn't quite deserve the price. We will definetely be going back to the Begur-area as it is a very relaxed and chill-out sort of place.

Unglaubliche Aussicht vom traumhaften Eckbalkon

Wunderschöne Wohnung mit großem Eckbalkon und traumhaftem Blick auf die Bucht. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht, außer deutsche Fernsehprogramme. Der Komplex zeigt noch viele schöne alte Möbelstücke und lässt einen beeindruckt eintauchen in die Zeiten vergangener Tage. Die große Eingangshalle hat uns immer an alte James Bond Filme erinnert. Trotzdem ist alles sehr gepflegt. Die Felsenlandschaft bietet jedem seinen individuellen Sonnenplatz und der Meerwasserpool lockt zum Schwimmen. Auf dem Balkon hat man schon mal stärkeren landestypischen Wind. Wir waren begeistert und kommen gern wieder.

Magique!

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable dans un lieu absolument magnifique. Le cadre est exceptionnel et l'appartement très confortable avec une vue fantastique. Un grand merci à la propriétaire pour ces vacances de rêve, sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse. Location à recommander sans hésitation.

EXCELLENT SEJOUR. LIEU MAGIQUE !!

Appartement confortable; situation idéale. Vue imprenable! Rien de mieux si on aime la mer, les baignades et la pêche! Des petites villes alentour qui permettent des sorties différentes chaque soir, sans oublier les boutiques, bodegas et restaurants! Nous conseillons vivement.

Amazing location

Fascinating house (like a James Bond movie). Apartment with fantastic terrace. Sun all day and still windy. With the elevator you drive to the beautiful sea water swimming pool and to the large private bay, beautiful. The apartment is nice decorated (paoramic view), the master bedroom is very nice, with a private bathroom. The small bedroom has no windows to the sea ... However, unique location.
