The hosts were fantastic! They were available for every question we had and responded promptly. The rooms were generally clean, though we did notice some dust bunnies and spiderwebs in the fans and lights. The freezer door was broken, but the hosts assured us that it would be fixed soon. There was leftover meat or fish blood at the bottom of the freezer, so we hesitated to use it; however, the rest of the fridge was clean. We found some white powdery residue at the bottom of the oven, which made us wary of using it. We didn't want to aggravate any potential issues, so we opted to use the BBQ instead, which was excellent. We also enjoyed the seating area on the deck, which offered a lovely view of the lake and a grassy backyard that was a special treat. The hot tub had some sand on the seats, so we only used it a couple of times because we were concerned that the sand might cause damage. Still, soaking in the warm water was nice after a long day's drive. The fishing experience was great. The hosts recommended we fish at dusk, and we followed their adviceâresulting in over 10 fish caught between the four of us!Overall, our stay was very pleasant.
