Beach Me Up Scotty! var ett nybyggnadshus färdiggjort i september 2014. Det är ett mysigt och prisvärt hem med två sovrum, 2 och 1/2 badrum. Ligger på havssidan, på kort gångavstånd till havet och fantastisk utsikt över ljudsidan. Det finns en stor trottoar mittemot huset för cyklar eller promenader som tar dig till många lokala butiker och restauranger.

Huset är en öppen planlösning byggd av en av de bästa byggarna på Hatteras Island. Detta hem har 2 sovrum, sovrummet har en queen size-säng med badkar. Andra sovrummet har en tvilling över full våningssäng. Ytterligare ett badrum i korridoren. Vardagsrummet har stora öppna tak med stora framfönster för fantastisk utsikt. I vardagsrummet finns också en bäddsoffa som drar ut till en full säng. Ett extra familjerum / spelrum med 1/2 bad finns på den lägre nivån. Det öppna köket har en bar med plats för 2 och matbord med plats för 6. Det finns en utomhusdusch och en fiskrengöringsstation under huset samt en kolgrill på gården.

Steep steps for older people.

Great place. Very clean, nicely decorated and kitchen had everything. Was unable to get hand mixer to work. Left note on it and put mixer on counter. Would recommend this place and would return for certain. I would recommend bringing a drying rack for towels. I forgot from our first stay here that there are too few places to dry towels or hang clothes. Small, I hope, helpful suggestion. If older people like us, steps are steep and handrail is too wide to really grab for support. I really hate to be negative but something to consider if older.

We miss this house

I cant say enough good things about this house. Sometimes you stay in places where things are just a little broken or dont work quite right. You say to yourself, " welp, it is a rental." NOT THIS HOUSE! Its open, its clean, its well stocked, great water pressure, and the arcade is a nice touch. I dont care how old you are- go play Pac- Man. You can take your shoes off and lay on the sofa just like you would at home. We felt comfortable here! Unfortunetly our vacation ran parallel with hurricane Debbie so it literally put a damper on our trip. If it weren't for the fact that this house was so wonderful we probably would have just gone home We did message Bryan a couple times with questions and he was quick to respond. He has done a phenominal job with this house. If I'm being completely honest its underpriced so SNATCH THIS ONE UP!

Awesome Stay!

Wonderful! Home was so nice and roomy for my family of four! It was easy to find along Route 12 and perfect location to our favorite beach! Everyone enjoyed the Game Room, the selection of movies and video games! My kids also enjoyed having a tv in their room! (LOL) I can’t recommend this home enough! It was a great final stop on our summer! The check in was super smooth and the owner was easy to communicate with. Kitchen was stocked with essentials to cook. Bathroom was stocked with soft towels. There was even beach items to use!

Nice House

Enjoyed our stay. Beach access is a little wonky directly from the house but if you drive towards Hatteras and park its much easier. If youre accessing the beach from the house walk around the back side and youll find a path to a side street instead of walking the main road. When you get to the beach access youll know it, the signs are weird in spots telling you to go up or down x number of yards to find the actual access. Youll be walking in a shared driveway partially, dont let that deter you. Resources in this area are pretty limited, be prepared you will need to drive to get any real grocery shopping done. If youre going towards Nags or have room on your way down stop in that area for groceries. The stores are better. Note the best shop I found in our stay is a market across from the dollar store a mile north of the house. It has about everything you could possibly need. The shell gas station right down the street has a few things too but the market is better. I suggest if you have a 4wd vehicle that you buy a permit to drive right out on the beach. It will make your trip that much more enjoyable, we will do it when we return. Before you go crazy buying stuff for your trip know there are a few chairs and such for the beach under the house. Also, there was two boogie boards and a skim board, one was snapped in half but we actually left our better one there for the next group to enjoy. No point in bringing it somewhere we dont have an ocean.

Amazing Experience!

The beach house was amazing, clean, and close to a wonderful ice cream place. You could easily walk to the beach or drive to a public access beach. We loved the location in Salvo. For our family of 4, this house was everything we needed and allowed us to relax and love vacation.

Clean and comfortable

Beach Me Up Scotty made for a wonderfully relaxing week for our family of 5 adults. The house was clean and comfortable. We had no issues at all. I was a little worried about road noise since it is right on Hwy 12 but it never bothered us. Communication was excellent. Checkin was super easy. The house was well equipped. It was very clean. Having a washer and dryer was awesome. Enjoyed the games and movies. Walked to the beach a few times and traveled to other beaches as well. There were restaurants and a Dollar General close by. Food Lion was about 10 miles away I think. Salvo Day Use Area was a great spot for sunsets. We had such a great experience and hope to come back one day!

Excellent property in a fantastic area.

Beach me Up Scotty was just as advertised. The property was clean and well stocked with games ,dishware and lots of Movies. The area itself was peaceful but also offers plenty of activities to keep a family entertained. Fishing and beach fun is less than five minutes away.

Fishing Trip

Had a wonderful stay at the property for a fishing trip. The location was perfect for us and it was as advertised. VRBO was supposed to send me an automated email with check in instructions but I didn't get it. So I messaged Brian and he called me immediately and got me in. Would definitely consider staying here again next year for our trip.

The little Blue House

Overall this is a very nice house. perfect size for a small family. The house was clean and well equiped. Plenty of space and the game room was definitely a bonus. The kitchen was well equiped and all the appliances worked well with the exception of the stove, which took a very long time to preheat. The beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in at the beach. We have a king at home and master bed was a queen. The bed was so comfortable we never noticed the difference and I'm over 6ft tall. Short walk to the beach. Only con was the house behind us has a pool. They kept their flood lights on a couple of nights and the light shown right into our bed room at night. I would suggest a dark shade for that window and that would fix that problem. Host was very nice and always quick to respond to my text. Clean up and exit was very easy. I would recomend this house to any small family looking for a nice place and a good price.

Perhaps the perfect place to stay. Salvo is a wonderful, but low key town. Unlike the northern outer banks where there is traffice, malls, and busy, busy. The house was wonderful, very comfortable and well appointed. Love an outdoor shower!

I have vacationed in the outer banks for years within Kitty Hawk & Nags Head area. Several years ago I decided to go further south with friends to Hatteras Island to spend a week. What a difference, the beaches were less crowed, the area was safer for the kids to ride bikes, fishing is great and less commercialized area. Years later I purchased this lot in Salvo. In early 2014, began construction.
