Venedigs bäst bevarade hemlighet !! Lugn pool hem inbäddat i träden vid kanten av naturreservatet, Intracoastal Waterway och miles av asfalterad cykel / vandringsled. Denna tre sovrum, två badrum, pool hem genomgick renovering 2015. Renoveringen omfattade ett nytt kök med lövskogskartong och bänkskivor i granit. Befälhavaren badrumsmöbler inkluderade nya skåp och alla nya armaturer, moderna duschplattor med "träplank" golvplattor. Tvättstuga utvidgades för att möjliggöra enkel användning tillsammans med extra utrymme för stranden redskap, etc. Detta fantastiska hem ligger på en blindgata med ett skogsområde i väster och grönt utrymme tvärs över gatan i nordöstra. Baksidan av hemmet står inför solnedgången med glidreglage som öppnar ut på överdimensionerade nya paver Lanai med underbar pool från sovrummet och hela vida vardagsrummet som ger känslan av oändligt rum. Även om den här egenskapen är befolkade med flera vackra träd, det finns ingen brist på solen!

Bakgården är en lugn fristad för Florida fåglar och ett genomslag för den lilla blyga bobcat. Gå fyrtio steg från bakgården och du kommer att vara på den venetianska vattenvägar cykel / vandringsled med miles av asfalterad väg som följer Intracoastal vattenvägar och ansluta till Legacy Trail som fortsätter mot Sarasota. Du kan också cykla till flera företag, restauranger, stränder och parker på ön Venedig från den venetianska vattenvägar Trail.

Hoppa på cykeln, ta en promenad, eller koppla av på bänken (som på bilden) och bli hänförd av utsikten eftersom du är också på Intracoastal vattenvägar. Detta är hem för delfiner, sjökor, och ändlösa marint liv. Intracoastal vattenvägar löper parallellt med den Mexikanska golfen och rymmer allt från kajaker till stora båtar som reser lokalt eller de som reser från norra delarna av Florida mot nycklar.

Detta hem är i en stadsdel med en egen privat strand. Tillgång till stranden är en mil söder om hemmet och nås med färja via Intracoastal vattenvägar. Detta område rymmer också sjösättning. En annan bonus för detta hem platsen är Shamrock Park. Shamrock Park ligger inom gångavstånd från denna fantastiska hem och erbjuder naturstigar, tennisbanor basketplaner, stor lekplats, rastplatser och toaletter. Det är också hem till Florida Scrub Jay (blå robin stora social fågel) och flera sköldpaddor, för att inte tala stora Florida fåglar.

Fantastic!

The house was lovely and very private. The host was very kind and responsive. Many little things were included that made for a seamless stay (laundry soap, garbage bags, coffee). I highly recommend it.

Holiday Vacation

We enjoyed our two week stay at this home We loved the location! . It had everything one would need for a short/long stay. Loved the pool and being on the waterway. It has a nice sized laundry/entry way. We did have a couple of issues early on. One with the washing machine and the other with the air conditioning, but the host was VERY quick toremedy both issues. One thing we did find disappointing was the cleanliness of the home. We put a half day into cleaning the home (wiping down the inside of cupboards, vacuuming under furniture/beds and closets and so forth). Things that one would expect when renting and the previous guests paying a cleaning fee as we did. Overall, it is a nice home to spend your vacation. I am simply sharing this information in hopes that there is a little more attention given to the cleaning of the home in preparation for guests. remedy the situation .rem situations.

Family Getaway

Listed below are the pros & cons! We had a great trip! There were 5 of us including 3 little kids. The location of the house is in such a nice quiet neighborhood that also has a great bike/walking path right out the back along a beautiful waterway that offered beautiful views of the sunset. We saw so many different kinds of lizards, cool frogs, a huge iguana, an amazing bobcat & a gopher tortoise right from our yard! Walking down the path it goes to the wildlife area & we saw so many tortoise homes & had beautiful birds come right up to us! The heated pool was great! Pros: location, enclosed pool (can be heated), grill, price, carport, owner communication, beach sifters & chairs, lots of bath & beach towels, washer & dryer, wildlife Cons: So many mosquitoes it was miserable outside the house or pool, the AC couldn’t keep up with the heat. It got up to 81d almost daily & we had to buy fans. The master curtains didn’t cover the whole windows & were see through so no privacy. Then the curtains in the living room were so sheer/see through they let the sun heat it up bad(we covered the windows with towels & blankets for privacy & to keep it cool), light switches don’t actually turn on any lights except in the kitchen /living room, no bathroom counter space & no mirror over the sink, just a very weird layout/setup, no full length mirrors, lots of cleaning rules when paying a cleaning fee. Overall it was a good stay.

Ocala vacation

I brought my mom and son here for a week to visit with family. It was everything we hoped for and thoroghly enjoyed our stay. Bed were comfortable. It was centrally located and on the International waterway that provided an excellent and safe place for exercise or just a nice walk. We enjoyed the pool every day. The house was equipped with accomodations that made it easy to eat in and play without having to buy alot of extras. The beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella came in handy. Angie was great to work with and responded to messages promptly. If we ever get a chance to return to the area I hope the house will be available because we would love to stay again. We all miss it since we left.

Quick Family Get Awsy

The location was perfect for what we needed at this time. Some beautiful old growth trees, bike path, and Shamrock Park near by is an excellent option for tennis and basketball. We enjoyed our stay and the property management was very friendly and helpful.

quiet secluded villa in amongst the woods and lake

Villa situated in quiet area in wooded surrounds. Lots of wildlife to watch, squirrels, birds even saw a bobcat. Ideal for beach trips, boat rides and numerous restaurants nearby. Thanks for a lovely stay

If you like quiet and private - this is the place for you!

We rent often from VRBO and I think this is my favorite location ever. Spotlessly clean, private pool and great sunset views over the canal. Just minutes away from multiple beaches and yes - we found shark's teeth. :) We'll be back again.

A Wonderful, Quiet Place

The property is located at the end of a 'dead-end street'. It is very quiet with a wonderful pool area. The house is very cosy and comfortable with a nice kitchen, living room and three bedrooms, each one having a nice size. Interacting with the real estate representative, Angie, was such a pleasure. The reservation process and the following check-in and check-out was a breeze. The overall location is very convenient and you can reach all the local beaches within 30 minutes driving. If you are looking for a nice family Florida vacation, I can highly recommend this property.

Very cute house

This home has everything you need for your stay, it was clean, and has a very nice pool, I really appreciated the mesh gate around the pool to keep out little ones since we had an infant and 3 year old with us :) this property is also very secluded which is very peaceful and relaxing. Property manager very quick to respond and helpful. Great spot for a relaxing vacation

Great stay, miss it already!

I'm writing this with future guests in mind, saying mostly what I'd want to know if searching for a vacation home. The hosts were wonderful. We got into Florida early and Angie let us check in a couple hours early which was a huge blessing. And any time I reached out to Angie or Gary I was answered in a timely manner. The house was clean, the pool was amazing (loved the safety gate around pool!), the beds were comfortable... everything was great! There are pool toys and beach toys, the only thing I could have used was a beach cart but I don't expect a house to supply it all. Just a thought of something to bring. And bikes would have been really awesome to bring for the trail out back which you can take down to the playground which is about a 20 min walk. The house is a short drive to beaches, about 10 min, and it was super cool to find shark teeth and great shells. Siesta Key has much nicer beaches, white sand and better for swimming but very touristy and expensive. South Venice is more of a residential area. That can be a good thing, depends on what you want out of vacation. There are a lot of strip malls and chain restaurants, rather than the little cute beach town feel, but there are also great thrift stores and pretty much everything you can think of within 10 min drive. Great time, wonderful house, would come back again! Thank you!

Couples Get Away

This property was in a wonderful location and had everything we needed for a great beach getaway!! The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans. There are beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and sand sifters for the shark tooth hunters. The pool was clean and very private. We enjoyed the access to the Legacy Bike Trail. Angie answered all if my questions quickly. Great vacation home.

Venice Rental

Living room has beautiful windows overlooking the pool area. Backyard leads to Venetian Walkway and Shammrock Park. Great for those who love to stroll along the waterway. Venice beach and retail stores are close by. As previously noted, the bathrooms are very small. The sink for one bathroom is actually in the bedroom. There is a tight shower stall. Angie and Gary were quick to address some problems. The location and back yard are the biggest selling point. An enjoyable experience.

Excellent Location, Excellent Stay

We stay in Venice every year and this has been our favorite at this price point bc of the location and pool. We added the extra to heat the pool and it was so worth it, highly recommend. The yard was great and it was amazing being able to step out the backyard onto the trail for a run or bike ride. Also loved the proximity of Shamrock Park for the kids. So close to all the great Venice beaches too. The house was similar to other south Venice properties but bc of the location and pool we now definitely rank this as our favorite! Excellent communication from Angie too. Thanks for a fantastic couple of weeks.

Peaceful, quiet, private, relaxing!

I have been traveling to Florida for 8 years, sometimes twice a year. This place was special! Relaxing poolside in the mornings and evenings and exploring the area and beaches during the day. Angie gave us all the information we needed before arrival. This was a 5 star the moment we walked in. It felt like an oasis - for me at least. Thank you both Gary and Angie, allowing us to share this little piece of paradise - just save a time slot for us so we can return to this special place

Florida vacation

Stayed for a week with family and had a great time! The location was perfect for us and close to several different beaches which we visited daily. We enjoyed spending time in the pool area and watching the lizards and birds. We travelled with our 2 year old grandson and there was many safety features for the pool area the made me feel more comfortable. Angie even had a pool safety fence set up for our arrival. The house and yard is very private. You cannot see the neighboring houses from the back yard/pool area and the landscaping is really nice and relaxing. It is a quick walk through the backyard to the paved trail and a short stroll to shamrock park. We walked there every evening and enjoyed the sunset along the way. The house itself is also comfortable and very well stocked with everything you need to cook, spend time swimming or just relax. The cherry on top was getting to see a mama bobcat and 3 kittens our last day :). Highly recommend this place for those looking for a peaceful place to swim, relax and destress

Perfect for family

This is our 3rd time renting from Angie. This property was our favorite. We saw a dolphin in the waterway, tortoises in the backyard, an armadillo, and a bobcat. The pool was wonderful. The property was nice and secluded. It was very central to beaches and shopping. This was by far our favorite house that we have rented in our years of visiting Venice. We look forward to next year.

Home Away From Home

Our family travels to Venice in the summer often and this is our second Vrbo experience. The house was in a great location, walking distance to the intercoastal waterway where we biked and took a walk almost every evening. My husband enjoyed fishing as well. It is close to alot of area beaches . The house was older but had some updates. It was comfortable and clean. The pool was nice although our kids did not play in it as much due to it being on the colder side(you can pay to have it heated...I would recommend ). There are plenty of lizards that visit while in the pool area and my kids were naming them. Milipedes were in season so we had an issue with those throughout the home but there is not much you can do about that but escort them outside. The home has EVERYTHING you need for the beach. There is a whole closet dedicated to beach things. The bathrooms are on the smaller side but clean. It took the water a little time to get warm. Kitchen is well equipped and there is a patio with a grill..We saw a bobcat, tortoise and lots of bunnies. Our family very much enjoyed our stay.

Love the location.

My first priority is always the location of a house close enough to walk to fish. The waterway is very close and we caught a good amount of fish in it. The pool kept the family happy. Very clean and nicely kept house overall. Only slight negative of the house would be the bathrooms. Kinda cramped and awkward but usable.

Just lovely!

We had a terrific stay. The location is ideal as is the pool! Be sure to pay the little bit extra to have it heated- that was the best! The house is very clean and spacious and well decorated. The floor plan is a typical Florida house footprint with smaller bathrooms, but they are very clean and updated. We would rent again!

Lovely home in Venice -nature trail-ferry & private beach

Our family of 5 plus a guest had a wonderful time at this lovely rental home. The pool was wonderful and I would recommend paying the extra for the heater(December). Everything we needed was at the house. we loved that the house came with a pass key to the ferry & private beach! They even had beach umbrellas, towels , toys & everyone’s favorite shark teeth collecting tools! My favorite part was that the neighborhood was a nice quiet area and there was tons of wildlife to see. The nature trail- walking& bike path was perfect and the shamrock nature center was nice to walk to. We have no complaints and hope to stay at this location in the future! Thank you so much!!

The house was quiet, clean, and well stocked.

The pool was refreshing. We saw a bobcat in the backyard, also a big turtle. The pass for the ferry was nice. We went to the private beach 3 times. Well worth going. Our only negative is the master bed, only one person can sleep in it otherwise you both end up in a gully in the middle of the bed.
