Stor herrgård och uthus i en idyllisk miljö med pool

Detta charmiga hus byggt i slutet av XIX kombinerar fullhet, utrymme och komfort. Du kommer att följa den väg av solen på din fritid med hjälp av de två terrasser angränsande huset eller sommarstugan, poolen sikt upp sambandet mellan bostadsområden. Tre andra uthus slutföra ramen. Parken på 2 hektar inhägnade kretsar kring uthus och en damm (2500 m2) med en liten bäck som rinner genom fastigheten. Där ser spendera tid multi gamla ekar, majestätiska lindar och enorma popplar. Andra arter, nyare plantering (björk, ek, korkek, Hackberry, valnöt, vide ...) spetsa floran i området, och lite frukt. I hönshuset, hittar du ägg som våra höns stolta Landes villiga att hålla högt rykte vår Southwest. Olika grönsaker väntar på att plockas upp i trädgården.

What a delightful place. Beautiful house, fabulous gardens, great pool. And a bar, homegrown veg, chickens and a lake!We were very relaxed and happy here. Really thoughtful, friendly hosts, who have a delightful family home that was perfect for our holiday. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

A wonderful relaxing holiday

We spent a wonderful two weeks at this gorgeous property. We were three generations of the same family and the house and gardens suited us all well. We loved the extensive gardens, with lovely places to wander and sit in the dappled shade, and of course the swimming pool. Our dog made herself at home immediately; it was great that the property was fully fenced so she could roam the garden freely too. We had fresh eggs from the chickens most days and some lovely vegetables from the garden. Didier and Véronique were excellent hosts, they there to welcome us, even after our much later than expected arrival time. They made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We wanted for nothing in the house, all the beds were extremely comfortable. We wanted a relaxing break and we certainly got it. I would highly recommend.

Maison de vacances familiale comme dans mes rêves

C’est une vraie maison de vacances, la maison familiale par excellence, patinée à l’ancienne pleine de souvenirs et de bonheurs qui se dégustent doucement . Ideale pour les vacances au calme. Le potager, les poules contribuent à la quiétude et au repos. La facilité et la simplicité de l’accueil ajoutent au plaisir de cette location. Les propriétaires sont d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle.

Magnifique

Nous avons loué ce domaine entre amis, ado et chiens. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été charmé par cette propriété. Ces arbres majestueux, le potager, les oeufs frais le matin, le terrasses sous le tilleul, le coin piscine super agréable. Bref que du bonheur. Didier et Véronique nous ont chaleureusement accueilli avec pleins d'attention. Les petits pains le matin, la fameuse croustade. Nous recommandons vivement ce domaine et j'espère pouvoir repasser des vacances dans cette propriété. Egalement un paradis pour les chiens.

Beautiful property

We had a magnificent 2 week holiday. The Mellin family were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The house and grounds are nothing short of stunning. The 2.5 acre grounds are completely fenced which was really nice for our dogs. There is a large pond where you can fish and also a vegetable garden which you may use. The house is cool enough to handle hot summer days, otherwise the 8 x 4 meter will help out. The property lies in a secluded countryside area but is less than 15 minutes away from the city Mont-de-Marsan with it’s supermarkets and restaurants. Every now and then a fighter jet flies by on it’s way to the nearby military airbase. The location is a good base to explore the bas armagnac area with it’s beautiful little villages to the east or the woodland of the regional nature parc to the north. We can highly recommend the property and would love to visit again.

Fabulous oasis in the Landes countryside

The house and garden at Uchacq is amazing! We spent two blissful weeks here. Véronique and Didier have created something really special. They were there to welcome us to their home when we arrived, and despite the language differences, they gave us a warm and comprehensive introduction to the place. The house is beautiful, spacious, and remained cool in the hot weather. The bedrooms are big and airy, with generously sized and comfy beds and each with en suite bathroom. The kitchen has everything we needed and is well stocked with cooking equipment and tableware for big groups. But in the summer, it really is the garden that steals the show. The house is surrounded by a vast space, completely closed off from the rest of the world, that has been beautifully tended to. The sun swings round the house throughout the day so there is always a place to either soak it up, or enjoy delicious dappled shade under the mature trees. As two families with young children, it was an adventure playground, and there is lots provided for games like ping pong and badminton. Needless to say, most time was spent in and around the pool! And you can really settle for the day there as they have a beautiful pool house which provides cool shade and a bar inside, as well as a shaded veranda with space to lounge or eat a meal that you’ve cooked on the big gas griddle/plancha. Véro and Didier were such generous hosts, and had clearly put a lot of work into their immaculate garden. We had fresh eggs from the chickens every day and, were told we could help ourselves to fresh produce from the vegetable garden. Véronique even brought us fresh bread one morning. Beyond the property is farmland and pine forests, and there are lots of tracks for walking or running, accessible directly from the garden. Further afield, it is a quiet area, but if you are prepared for a longer drive the coast is not too far and there are some nice places to visit if you know where to go. I would recommend doing some research before you go. Thank you so much Véronique and Didier (and Matthieu for the translation!), we loved our stay and we were so sad to leave. You are great hosts!

Un fabuleux séjour !

Nous avons loué ce domaine pour des vacances en famille, 7 personnes de 16 à 82 ans. Le domaine est grandiose avec de superbes dépendances ! La maison est magnifique est très fonctionnelle, aménagée avec goût, les chambres sont très grandes chacune bénéficiant de sa propre salle de bain. Nous avons énormément profité du coin repas au bords de la piscine mais également de petits déjeuners familiaux et dîners bucoliques sous le magnifique tilleul qui abrite la terrasse. Véronique et Didier sont des hôtes exceptionnels avec pleins de petites attentions (petits cadeaux d'accueil) et surtout viennoiseries et pain frais livré à domicile 2 fois pendant notre séjour. Nous avons pu profiter également des légumes du jardin et des œufs frais tous les matins grâce à 3 cocottes que nous avons nourris de nos restes, vraiment top ! Nous vous recommandons chaudement ce domaine pour des vacances dans un cadre somptueux et très bien entretenu. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter nous ressourcer dans ce domaine avec son magnifique parc et ses chênes de plus de 400 ans. Juste le bonheur dans toute sa simplicité de nature. A très vite Véronique et Didier ! et ne changez rien vous êtes au top tous les 2 !

Exceptionnel!

Dans une propriété d'exception au coeur des Landes, nous avons été accueillis comme des amis, avec générosité et élégance, par Véronique et Didier, prévenants en toutes choses. Le parc et son étang, l'espace piscine et plancha où nous avons passé toutes nos soirées au paradis... La maison principale et ses grandes pièces et chambres où chacun s'est senti chez soi... Difficile de ne pas être émerveillé par autant de beauté et de poésie. Pour les amoureux de la nature et des beaux lieux, pour le calme absolu et les nuits fraîches même au coeur du mois d'Août, pour les adresses données par les propriétaires attentifs à ce que nous découvrions les savoureux produits locaux, un lieu hors du commun idéal pour des vacances d'exception en famille ou avec des amis! Merci encore à Véronique pour les croissants chauds et le pain frais, mais bien plus que cela, pour la qualité tout à fait hors du commun de son accueil.

Séjour bucolique et confort absolut

Dès que Véro et Didier vous accueillent vous vous sentez chez vous avec de bons amis. Ils ont su donner un charme fou à cette belle maison familiale. Didier est amoureux de ses arbres qu'il soigne avec amour. Les arbres centenaires témoigent des rires des enfants et des grandes tablées joyeuses autour du canard gras qu'ont connus les lieux. Cette maison vit à l'année, on y cuisine, on y reçoit avec des vraies casseroles, de la belle vaisselle, et on y garde les meilleurs amis à dormir dans ses 4 sublimes chambres aux lits gigantesques! Bref , trois semaines de ce régime landais ont réussi à nous délasser complètement de nos vies trépidantes. Nous nous sommes laissé portés par ce lieu enchanteur en vivant au rythme du soleil. Les poules nous ont donné leurs œufs, nous leur avons donné nos épluchures...nous avons beaucoup appâté mais assez peu pêché...les poissons sont joueurs! Que vous dire de plus, allez-y...ou plutôt non, n'y allez pas! on aimerait simplement garder cet endroit pour nous! Merci Véro et Didier de votre accueil dans ce petit paradis. Marie-Anne et Claude

Cadre magnifique

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la maison de Véronique et Didier. Leur accueil est particulièrement chaleureux et nous les en remercions vivement. La maison et ses alentours sont simplement magnifiques avec un petit plus super agréable comme les œufs frais et le potager. Une vraie maison de famille où il fait bon vivre et idéal pour ce que nous recherchions, un cadre paisible pour se reposer en famille et entre amis.

Magnifique maison au milieu d'un fantastique parc

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve à deux failles (4 adultes et quatre enfants). La maison et le jardin sont réellement magnifiques et l'accueil des propriétaires très agréable. Je recommende vraiment cette location...et remercie beaucoup Véronique pour son accueil et sa confiance. Julien

Absolutely wonderful

We spent a full week at the house and loved every minute of it. The surrounding garden / park (including a small pond) is truly breathtaking. The house as such offers everything we wished for: a roomy and well equipped kitchen with an adjoining dining room, internet, four spacious bedrooms and a very comfortable pool area. Our very friendly hosts gave us a warm welcome at the house and waved us goodbye when we left. They were exceptionally nice and helpful. The house was very clean, the extremely large garden very well kept. The vegetable garden provided us with fresh vegetables every day and the four chicken did their part in providing us with fresh eggs on a daily basis. The house is delightfully situated and we went on some lovely trips into the surrounding countryside. Even the Atlantic coast can be reached in about an hour.
