Great location, comfortable stay

Claudio is a lovely host. He met us inside and provided an overview of the apartment and surrounding neighborhood. The beds are comfortable. The neighbourhood is right near Piazza Erbe so it was a little noisy at night.

Amazing location and helpful host

This place is a gem! Loved the ambience and the unique layout. Appreciated being able to do laundry. Claudio was very accommodating and kind when we had delays due to train / bus. He also gave excellent recommendations — we went to Monte Baldo twice — the 2nd time we took some friends. Would definitely want to stay there again next time we visit Verona.

Cozy nook in medieval building...sweet!

This is a very rustic apartment in a 16th Century building. The loft is great for children...not toddlers. Not for tall people either. Great location within walking distance to old town and most attractions. Train station is a bit far, but buses and taxis are easily accessible. Claudio was a great host and had many great recommendations. Wish we had more time in Verona!

Cozy loft

Our host Claudio went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. He even helped us with our luggage on arrival and departure. The loft is on the third floor and there is no lift. It was fine for us though and we’re in our 60’s! The location is just off the Plaza Erba so you feel the city vibe and all its excitement. Claudio told us about restaurants and said we shouldn’t miss Lake Garda…a magnificent place. The spacious apartment, the artwork, furniture and the well supplied kitchen made our stay most enjoyable. Verona is a lovely city.

Genuine host

The apartment was wonderfully situated and quite cozy. The loft area is a bit tight for anyone but children, yet we did not require those accommodations and were not affected by the low ceilings and close quarters. Everything else was great, especially the craftsmanship and the availability of information on Verona that our host provided. That the apartment was so close to sightseeing, shopping, and eating was wonderful! Our most incredible experience was the kindness our host exhibited when I left a bottle of medication behind. After notifying me by text I suggested he send the medications by FedEx to my next location in Venice at my expense. Instead he offered to hop a train to Venice as he had already planned a trip for an event, and he hand-delivered my medications with a smile and well-wishes. He did so even when he discovered he event he was to attend was postponed for that day! Bravo!

Verona, il mio amore!!

Claudio’s penthouse apartment, just a few steps from the famous Piazza Erbe, is in the perfect location to see the heart and soul of Verona. The ancient wooden beams must be ancient indeed. The photos do not do justice to the old world charm. Claudio met us personally at the apartment and carried our heavy suitcases up the four flights of stairs. Also took them down for us as we said our goodbyes. I will say the stairs were a great way to keep fit for the walking we did all over the area. Around every corner another fantastic view. We chose Verona because Aida was being performed in the Roman arena there. It took us 10 minutes to walk down for the performance on a gorgeous moonlight evening. And 5 hours later we walked back. We actually think Verona is Italy’s best kept secret. We hope to make it back to Verona and if we do, we hope Claudio’s place is available to us!! Grazie Mille Claudio, Arriverderci!! Jane and Geary

Ausgezeichnet für den Stadturlaub

Die Wohnung könnte gar nicht zentraler liegen. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und ein Supermarkt sind fußläufig bequem zu erreichen. Sie ist liebevoll ausgestattet und für eine vierköpfige Familie und einen einwöchigen Aufenthalt völlig ausreichend. Der Vermieter ist äußerst zuvorkommend.

Deliziosa casetta in centro a Verona

La casa è un sottotetto delizioso vicinissimo a piazza delle erbe, si raggiunge facilmente, benché si trovi nella zona pedonale del centro storico, ed in zona si trova un supermercato. Un salotto cucina arredato in maniera particolare ed elegante, pieno di libri di pregio. La camera da letto è comoda, i lettini si trovano nel sottotetto cui si accede con una comoda scala, adatta e sicura anche per i bambini. Vi è un piccolo spazio con giochi e libri per gli ospiti più piccoli. Il bagno è comodo e funzionale. Claudio, il proprietario è molto disponibile. Ci ha subito offerto un'accoglienza cordiale e un'utile panoramica sulla città. Consigliatissimo.

Enchanting location

The apartment is located close to Piazza Erbe and walking distance to all other sights. We loved being in this neighbourhood. The building is old and the wooden beams on the roofs testify to the age. The host, Claudio, was wonderful to communicate in providing us details of bus numbers from the train station to reach his place. Do remember you have to walk around 400 metres on a pedestrianized street - again an ancient one! I would come here again.

Excellent location and cool apartment!

Overall we loved the apartment. It really needs a deep clean though. The fan blades have a thick layer of dust on them. Very nice host too. We would definitely stay again!

Wir haben unsere Zeit hier sehr genossen. Die zentrale Lage in Mitten der città vecchia ist ein großer Vorteil, wenn einen das Nachtleben direkt vor der Tür nichts ausmacht. Der Vermieter Claudio war stets erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Wirklich super!

Perfect location

It was wonderful to be in very the center of things, a short walk to everything we wished to see and be a part of. Although the building is very old the apartment has all the modern conveniences, is airy, light and filled with art and books that made it feel homey. Owner was welcoming, communicative, flexible--a great host. A decent market is maybe 7-10 minutes away, and the kitchen was easy to prepare meals in. We would love to go back!

Super bien situé mais l appartement n est pas entretenu. Tout est sale, les lits pas confortables, le pommeau de douche fait penser à une séance d acupuncture. Le propriétaire est par contre très sympa.

Absolutely perfect

The apartment is amazing - really nicely decorated, has all the appliances you need, good wifi etc. The location genuinely could not be more central, Claudio is the nicest guy, very fast replies and super helpful when I needed help with the front door key. Stay at this place! :)
