Not what expected
The location is very nice, although not what was expected. The photos give the impression that the house is on a hill surrounded by nothing but it’s actually very, very close to lots of other houses. Not a problem initially. The view is stunning and the house is nice. However, be warned, you are only getting half a house. The house is very basic. There is no toaster, no microwave and a tiny oven, no iron or ironing board and very little kitchen utensils. This would be a problem if you were staying for an extended period.
On our third night we were joking while having dinner on the terrace about how it looked into the neighbours living room and wondered if someone was also eating on their terrace what it would be like. There is no separation. Well, later that evening we found out when we were woken up by the arrival of the next door neighbours very late and were woken again the next morning before 7am. Our stay was ruined at that point. I was thinking of contacting the owners when suddenly I was surprised to learn they were the owners!!!!
It’s like you are renting rooms in their house. You hear everything, including a screaming child. There is no privacy. We do not recommend this place and don’t know how anyone could charge people to stay in their own house as if it’s a separate house. If the owners want to rent this they should do it when they are not at home. I do not know how previous reviewers could find this ok.
