We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful and just a 3 min walk to the beach. Everything was clean when we arrived. Big open kitchen and living room, great for cooking for a group. Check in was easy, with clear communication leading up to the trip. Highly recommend and hope we can come back!

This house was stunning. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, it had great kitchen amenities, and it is in my favorite part of the island. Its near the end of the island so you have the privacy and beauty of several wildlife preserve areas. You can walk to the end of the island and see the ships coming in. But it's also a convenient 10 mins to all the shops and restaurants on the Strand.The owner was great when an issue popped up. She responded right away so it didn't slow us down at all.Only warning is if you stay in high mosquito time being bug spray, Galveston has a lot of mosquitoes, but they disappear once you get over the dunes to the beach side.We would absolutely stay here again!

We loved the layout and charm of this beautiful home. It was equipped with a full kitchen, beach chairs, wagons, and even an hot tub. Amazing views of both beach and bay from the 3 balconies. Our hosts Mai and Tom went out of their way to ensure every comfort. We discovered the dishwasher wasn’t working and after reporting it to the hosts, we were pleasantly surprised that they had a new dishwasher installed by nightfall that very same day. They stayed in touch with us throughout the stay. We would not hesitate to book this property again!

Beautiful home just steps away from the beach. The house is equipped with everything you need for the beach: beach toys, chairs, etc. The owner is extremely communicative and makes sure you are satisfied with all aspects of the house. We love to do a big family breakfast and the kitchen was perfect to do so! We will definitely be back

Fabulous vacation home

Beautiful home, with lots of space, very comfortable beds and feels like home. We will definitely be back. The hone is in a beautiful neighborhood and the check in process was so easy. The manager kept me up to date and gave fabulous instructions with great pictures! We had a blast! Wish we could have stayed longer!

The property is just as described: lovely, light and bright house, well appointed, good kitchen equipment, nice dishes and glasses, with a short walk to the beach, with beach chairs and towels available. Host was extremely helpful before check-in. Overall a great experience. Would love to come back!

Great place

The house was wonderful! We drove in to celebrate at the beach my youngest’s birthday. Her desire was to hang at the beach all day Saturday, which we did. The house was close to the beach. It had all the items needed to make a fabulous weekend. We were extremely pleased with the entire home, neighborhood and community. Thank you.

Wow!

Fantastic property and the hosts are tremendous! Better than the description, this is a luxury beach house that has everything you need. Very comfortable, and exceptionally equipped, we wanted for nothing. The hosts were incredibly helpful, and much appreciated. We had the time of our lives and look forward to another opportunity to visit Galveston. I recommend this property very highly; it is well worth the price. You will not be sorry, it will make your Galveston trip memorable. Thanks to Mai for all her help.

Great vacation home!

Rang in 2019 here with a group of 11. Found all we needed in the kitchen. Home was new and well decorated. Walk to the beach was easy and convenient. Plenty of parking and porches. Minor issues: instructions for AV equipment would have been useful with 6 remotes in living room. Downstairs bedroom shares bath for the whole floor (main living). Jute rugs had an odd smell.. great to have newer home in Galveston!

Dear Kim, Thank you so much for your honest review. So glad that you have messaged me when you checked-out that the house worked great. So happy to see that you gave our house 5 stars with beautiful words for the review even there were minor issues. An issue that caught our attention was the 'odd' smell of the jute rugs. We have stopped by the house immediately to investigate. We believed that 'odd' smell due to the new rug which was bought and replaced not too long ago. We did call and ask about that smell when we started to invest in jute rugs for the beach house. They explained that is naturally normal because the jute was cut fresh, dry and then weaved by hand. Later it was wrapped and shipped. It would take months before it could get to the consumer. The jute was trapped inside the wrapper and could not 'breath'. The smell could not be able to harm you. They said it would disappear later. I hope this helps. Please feel free to email me if you have any additional information to share. The house appeared as pictured and described. Some things I wish I knew prior-The beach view is not visible from the second floor deck, you have to go upstairs to the 3rd floor. Hot tub is located in the garage.Minor annoyances- length of check-in instructions, having to manually open the garage each time we left/returned, lack of keypad access and having to keep up with a key, cushions for outdoor furniture stacked inside the house requiring us to move them outside, no extra blankets in the house, no oven mitts/pot holders in the kitchen, remote in downstairs bedroom didn’t work, upstairs front facing bedroom had light filtering blinds and curtains making it difficult to sleep in.Not deal breakers but it definitely took something away from the “luxury” experience.

Dear Sara, Thank you for your feedback and for sharing both the positives and areas for improvement. I’m sorry some details took away from the luxury experience you were expecting. A few items do have some background — we keep the outdoor cushions inside because sudden coastal rain can quickly soak them, They would be unusable when guests arrive. We switched from keypad entry and automatic garage access after repeated failures from the salt air caused issues for guests. All the bedroom windows are customized with black-out shades, though we understand light sensitivity can vary from guest to guest. I do wish we had known during your stay about the blankets, oven mitts, and remote, as we could have helped right away. Graduation Weekend Retreat

The Seaglass house was a lovely location for our family gathering. It is well located on the East End of Galveston and we enjoyed having the beach to ourselves early in the morning. The house has plenty of space and the beds were quite comfortable. The only regret is we were so busy I ran out of time to try out the claw foot tub in the primary bathroom. :) If stairs are an issue there is a bedroom on the first floor off of the kitchen with a bathroom next door. Kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of beach chairs, towels and toys to keep everyone occupied. We did have a slight issue with the septic system which is typical on an island. Mai & Tom had someone on sight the next day to address the issue, even on a Sunday. Mai was very communicative and informative throughout the visit. Check in and out were easy and simple. This property was ideal for our family. The rooms were excellent and each family had there own space which is important for pre-teens.Mai was excellent to work with and made all aspects as easy of a process as possible. We will definetly be back!
