The Hidden Gem of Vermont. Denna nyrenoverade mysiga stuga ligger på baksidan av berget Okemo och är den perfekta platsen. Hot tub just lagt till för vintern 2017/2018 !! Nytt kök, badkar, golv och mer färdigställdes i sommar. Beläget nerför huvudvägen på ett litet damm med en stor gård för pulka och utomhusskötsel. Enkel åtkomst till Okemo (6 miles), Jackson Gore (4 miles) och Killington (36 miles). Skridskoåkning, snöskor, snöskoter, snöslang och andra vinteraktiviteter är precis utanför dörren. Staden Ludlow ligger mindre än 10 minuter längs vägen med fantastiska restauranger, barer och shopping. Stor tillflyktsort för familjer och vänner. Har höghastighets WiFi och kabel-tv. Loftet har en queen size-säng, en full säng och två enkelsängar. Vardagsrummet har också en utdragbar soffa. Sover sex - åtta bekvämt.

I have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties but I think this was the best yet. So many small details were attended to in the cabin, it felt like home the entire time. Very well equipped kitchen and plenty of space. GREAT large dining table for eating and fun. Clean, usable outdoor furniture. Shower is now the inspiration for my upcoming home reno. Great for our family of three plus dog... steep steps to upstairs loft (not doable for dog or super tall people) but lovely space and comfortable sleeping arrangement. Plenty of towels and so clean throughout! Would return in a heartbeat!

Great little house in a great spot

The house was beautifully done inside and felt much bigger than it is, great use of space! The yard was really well kept and large, loved the deck and hot tub, and so many great areas to hike and explore in the immediate area. Would definitely stay again!

Adorable VT cabin

this cabin was absolutely adorable. The kitchen was great size living room, small but cozy. The only thing I think we would like to call out is that the stairs to the loft bedrooms are quite steep be very careful. Everything was impeccably, clean, very cozy and comfortable. Hot tub was perfect and all instructions for both of the hot tub and exit were clear and easy to read.

Cozy cottage

Enjoyed our stay. Cottage was very clean (including the hot tub) and was fully stocked with everything we needed. Our fur baby loved the property too and had plenty of room to run. The only negative I could mention is that the stair to the loft is very steep and narrow and for elderly people who have trouble with stairs, this might not be the place for you. Probably should be mentioned in the listing, otherwise we really liked it.

Cozy Getaway at the Hideway

This is the fourth time my partner and I stayed at the Hideway. We love it so much, we decided to keep coming back and make it our annual tradition. Christopher is fantastic to work with. Always helpful and accommodating. The cabin is so lovely and cozy. Also, a short distance from downtown Ludlow and other attractions. Highly recommend!

Im moving to Vermont!

Exactly as described only better! The only thing you need to bring is food for the fridge and soap for the shower. Every thing you can think of was already there for you! The property was breath taking and the privacy was perfect! I can tell you, with 100 percent certainty, I will not only be back in Vermont but I will be staying at this house any time of the year! Absolutely worth the visit!

Nice retreat

Spent a long weekend here and really enjoyed the house. The house was clean and well stocked. Bedrooms are not separated really- kind of lots of beds in one loft but it worked out ok. Stairs are steep. Outdoor shower, hot tub, and porch were great places to spend time. Beautiful property to walk around, however, there is a busy road nearby which causes some road noise and a noisy freight train with a honking horn woke us up one morning. Overall, a nice get away.

It was very clean and area is beautiful. The pictures did not show inside stairs and i just had back surgery. It was very difficult for me on stairs. I wish i knew that before booking.. Also the couch in living room was terrible to sit in. If they remodeled the upstairs, i would stay again. Thank you

Deceiving Listing and Pictures - Not Pet Friendly

The pictures in the listing do not provide a great description. There is a lift with 4 beds, however there is no walls between them and I would consider them all one bedroom. The staircase to the loft is very steep and the stairs are very narrow, to where you have to walk up sideways, the. You have to duck to avoid hitting your head. We did not let our dog up after the first time she came up since the stairs were too steep, to where we had to literally carry her down so she wouldn’t fall and get hurt. Other than these issues the property is clean, cozy, warm, well stocked and quite lovely.

Cozy gem of a cabin

I spent an entire month here with my wife and our dog, reveling in the delights of this charming pocket of Vermont. This idyllic retreat brought us immense joy. Throughout our stay, we were joined by friends, some accompanied by their children, who came and went, culminating in a memorable moment when the cabin accommodated up to eight people at once. The cabin exceeded our expectations in catering to our requirements, with the expansive kitchen standing out as a highlight. It was abundantly stocked with all the necessary equipment, enabling us to prepare substantial meals. Additionally, the hot tub proved to be the perfect remedy to soothe our bodies after a daylong hikes. The cabin's strategic proximity to Ludlow and its array of shops was a definite advantage. Although our visit took place during the summer, which ruled out hitting the slopes, we made the most of the splendid hiking opportunities in the vicinity. Furthermore, the cabin's central location facilitated convenient access to more distant day trip destinations. A few noteworthy observations: * The upstairs is cozy. Be well-acquainted with your guests or prepare to establish profound friendships! * Speaking of upstairs, exercise caution if you're taller than 6 feet; I had a few run-ins with low ceilings. * The steep stairs to the upper floor may require assistance for four-legged companions initially. Our dog managed after a few attempts. Our experience was unforgettable, and we hope to return.

The place is really amazing! It’s beautiful and secluded. Very relaxing! I have nothing negative to say about the stay. BUT I do want to mention that if you (or those staying with you) are big, tall, or have mobility issues… this is not the place for you. The photos are accurate, but it is difficult to tell the size of some of the spaces. (Including the stairs)

This place is a little gem. The decor inside is so chic and rustic cute. The house was very clean and had everything we need. The hot tub was a nice touch and had lots of jets. The bedrooms are in one big loft upstairs and you have to bend down if you are tall but still perfect for a getaway.
