Bedövning renoverad 1875 modern loft i hjärtat av downtown historiska Vicksburg! Ett välutrustade "wow-faktor" utrymme som bekvämt rymmer 4, svepande flodutsikt från takterrassen. Promenera till unik mat, shopping och historiska sevärdheter. Beläget ovanför ett berömt konstgalleri i Mississippi är utrymmet en konstnärs drömhem. De 2.400 kvm. Ft öppen planlösning har unik konst och en blandning av moderna och antika möbler. Loftet har en king size-säng och en queen size-säng med två soffor och en glider (för dig som inte är södra, det är en dagbädd som svänger!) ett komplett badrum med stor dusch, tvättstuga, komplett kök och takterrass för att titta på de otroliga solnedgångarna. Loftet är utrustat med wi-fi och ett säkerhetssystem för din extra bekvämlighet och säkerhet!

We loved our stay! The interior has historic charm, clean, comfortable & a perfectly curated art collection to enjoy. We parked right outside on the street, had a magnificent dinner at a restaurant steps away and enjoyed listening to a local band snuggled up on our private terrace. Chris is an absolutely lovely hostess and I am delighted to bring home a print of her artwork. Vicksburg has the friendliest people and delicious food. I can’t wait to visit again.

We enjoyed meeting our Hostess Ms. Porter and obtaining excellent recommendations for dining and sight seeing. The property was as described. The loft was well furnished (sofa and arm chair were a bit worn but hostess indicated they were being replaced very soon. Loved the rooftop view and the elevator. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

This was probably the most well equipped vacation rental we ever stayed at. The loft is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We loved the view from the rooftop. Communication with the owner was excellent.We’ll definitely stay here again, if we’re in the area. J and J

Terrific Rental!

The loft over the HC Porter Gallery was everything the listing said it would be. Spacious, great outdoor space and everything we needed for a great vacation. The staff were wonderful. Chris and her team at the gallery were so friendly and gave us lots of ideas to make our vacation the best it could be. 5 star

Don’t sleep on this fabulous listing!

Our family of 4 has been staying in this loft every time we’ve visited Vicksburg the last 8 years. The space is magnificent, the art is stunning and there’s so much SPACE! Chris is super responsive and we’ve never had a single issue.You will not regret staying in this loft (in the heart of downtown and walking distance to great shops and restaurants).

Great experience!

Great communication and customer service. The loft was exactly the way it looks in the pictures. Very clean. Great art work in every room. The roof top view is an ideal way to watch the sun set and relax. The location is perfect and central to restaurant's, coffee shops, and boutiques. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Best Location in Vicksburg

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the loft above H.C. Porter gallery. Chris's attention to detail in fixtures and furnishings, visual art, her music collection & kitchen essentials, as well as the rooftop river views, easy parking & proximity to Lorelei Books, Highway 61 Coffee House, The Attic Gallery, The Strand Theatre, and H.C. Porter Gallery made our long weekend visit restful and fun. The elevator access and bathroom remodel are a huge plus! Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. Saturday's Fostoria Neighborhood Porchfest had awesome musicians, artists and food. This was the perfect fall weekend getaway! We highly recommend a stay in this home.

Great Spot in Vicksburg!

Chris is the best host ever! Location is close to everything, parking easy, loft immaculate and spacious. Key City Brewery has Delicious pizza and good beer. Would stay here again.

Great Get Away!

Great place for a quiet get away. Chris was easy to communicate with and always available. Lots of places close by to eat and hang out. You almost never have to get in your vehicle till its time to head home!

A Wonderful place to stay.

Anniversary Celebration

Loved the accommodations. Chris the owner very laid back and flexible for your schedule. We checked in early and checked out late. Property was spacious and georgeous with plentiful amenities. Great location downtown for shopping and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

I'm a native Mississippian and a professional artist. I started my studio in 1987 in Jackson and after 20 years moved to Vicksburg. I was drawn by the historic building and the river views! My artwork reflects my love of Mississippi and its rich cultural and blues heritage.

Varför värden valde detta boende

My contemporary southern loft is above my signature art gallery in historic downtown Vicksburg on the main street, Washington St. Washington St. is also the Blues Highway, Highway 61,which runs from Memphis to New Orleans. I have found Vicksburg to be a welcoming, artsy, historic and charming town. I have found my home here, but I travel often and am able to share my loft/home while I am away.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

I've been told Mississippi is the last mysterious state in the Union! Vicksburg is a wonderful place to explore Mississippi's unique and historic past. My loft is 3 minutes from the National Military Civil War Park, one block above our riverfront murals, three blocks from the Court House Museum and two blocks from our Mississippi River Museum. The award winning, local shopping, dining and sightseeing is all surrounding my loft. Newly opened, the only rooftop dining/bar in Mississippi is located across the street, 10 South, with it's tenth story view of the River and downtown Vicksburg (just in case my three story private roof terrace isn't enough!) I have created an artist's dream home and it is my pleasure to share it with you!
