Très belle maison périgourdine avec accès à la Dordogne. Le propriétaire est très accueillant et bienveillant. La piscine est agréable. Le gîte est confortable et joliment décoré. Il manque peut-être un peu plus de rangements dans la cuisine pour les ustensiles et les provisions (tout le reste est vraiment très bien)

We enjoyed our stay last year so much we returned again this year. Quite private, comfortable property so handy for the airport, supermarket and easy 10 minute drive in to Bergerac City centre.

Idea for visiting Montbazillac and Bergerac . Nice garden and pool - only down side is mosquitos being by the river but go prepared with repellant and yourll be ok

Rustige locatie

Het huis is gelegen in een dooflopende straat, dus heel rustig. Wel een auto nodig om de buurt te verkennen. In het huis was alles aanwezig, juist wat weinig kookpotten.

Adorable maison a quelques minutes de Bergerac

Nous avons passé 2 semaines de vacances très agréable dans cette charmante maison. Les raisons de notre satisfaction sont simples Tout d'abord Stéphane est un hôte toujours a l'écoute, d'une gentillesse et facilement joignable. Ensuite la localisation idéale. A l'écart des routes et du bruit tout en étant a 7 minutes en voiture de la zone commerciale et proche de Bergerac, Monbazillac.... Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour.

Private charming property by the Dordogne river

The overall standard of the property is high, well equipped and the online photos don't really do it full justice. Although there are adjoining properties it is quite private, quiet and not overlooked. A car is a necessity as there are no local shops or restaurants except a bakery within reasonable walking distance in Cours de Pile. Road access to airport, hypermarket and Bergerac is very good and easy. We would recommend.

Perfect base for exploring Dordogne

Everything we hoped for -direct access to the river meant happy paddle borders. Very quiet location, yet only minutes to supermarket etc. Gorgeous pool area. Excellent position for a base to explore the region. Three week stay and we didn’t want to leave!

Maison "parfaite"

La maison est superbe ! J ai adoré le charme de cette maison typique perigourdine en pierre et sa spendide cheminée en pierre. En plus d etre décorée avec gout, la maison est fonctionnelle et tres bien equipée. L exterieur est egalement tres bien entretenu et fleuri, la piscine tres agreable et la terrasse donnant directement sur la dordogne m a beaucoup plus. Tres bien située, on profite du calme mais avec toutes les commodités a moins de 5mn et le centre de bergerac a 15mn. Bref toute la famille a passé un sejour tres agreable.

Beautiful house in a fabulous location. Ideal position for visiting the Dordogne. We had peace and tranquility yet close to all the facilities needed. Stephan was excellent, the only suggestion I would make is to have an information folder about the house.

A private spot on the Dordogne river

The house is nicely presented with a lovely open lounge dining area and a beautiful wisteria loggia for outdoor dining and a small but heated pool. Close to Bergerac and a short drive from other tourist areas. The kitchen is small but has most things a cook needs, including a large gas oven and hob. A few small things would enhance the experience: a printed house information guide, some salad servers, and decent cutlery and kitchen knives. Note that one toilet is off the kitchen/laundry and so the ensuite in one of the bedrooms is missing a toilet (important for us oldies!)

Ein Traum

Das Haus ist wirklich ein Traum. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen, es ist perfekt ausgestattet, wir haben nichts vermisst. Die Betten sind super, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Die Küche hat alles, was man braucht. Das Haus ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Pool ist natürlich das Highlight. Wir haben uns mit Familie und Freunden sehr wohl dort gefühlt und können dieses Haus wirklich sehr empfehlen. Auch der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr nett und unkompliziert.

Compromis parfait entre calme et commodité

Très jolie maison rénovée avec goût, au fond d’une impasse, au calme mais néanmoins, de part sa proximité avec Bergerac, proche de toutes commodités. Nous y avons passé une très excellente semaine en famille.

Two weeks in June

The property itself was fine - clean , cool despite the heatwave of the second week. , and comfortable for the four of us . The directions for new arrivals are inadequate for those without SatNav and communication was difficult for anyone not reasonably fluent in French. Nevertheless it was a most enjoyable two weeks .

Lovely house

Photos are spot on. The house has a quiet setting on the banks of the Dordogne and is very comfortable. Stephane was available for any concerns, although his English is about as good as my French, so Google had to help us. But the house is lovely.

Fantastic holiday

Absolutely fantastic holiday, we stayed in this beautiful property for 3 weeks and we didn’t want to leave. The house, pool and grounds were stunning. We would love to return. Location was amazing so quiet and private but only 10 minutes to a supermarket and 20 minutes to Bergerac. Kitchen was well equipped. Host was lovely, extremely helpful and unobtrusive. Thank you so much for such a relaxing time.
