VÀlkommen till Carsons Rocky Broad River Cabin - den lÀngsta "familjeÀgda" hyresfastigheten i Bat Cave. Ett steg pÄ vÄr veranda och du kommer att vara "ansluten" !!! Ombyggd 2010, har verandan över 300 kvadratmeter avskÀrmad utrymme, vilket Àr en stor förlÀngning av stugens vardagsrum. HÀr kan du vila, koppla av, lÀsa eller till och med ta en tupplur medan du lyssnar pÄ floden i fullstÀndig "bug-free" komfort. BÀttre Ànnu, börja din morgon med frukost pÄ verandan; lunch och middag fungerar lika bra. Det finns plats för 6 vid bordet men med allt detta utrymme kan mer inkluderas.

Carson was born in 2012 and is our 'Pride and Joy'. He is so much fun to be around. As our only grandson and the heir to this property, and considering that my grandfather, Charles Carr Harrelson, was the first in our family to own this house, I thought it only fitting to call the house 'Carson's Cabin'.
My name is Randy Kincaid. I practically grew up in this house and spent every summer there until 1968 when my grandparents sold their mountain property. My wife, Brenda, and I purchased the house in 1987 and have been continual part-time residents of Bat Cave since then. I am a retired elementary school principal but still do contract work for our local school system. Brenda retired as the Director of Cooperative Education and Student Employment from the community college in our town.
Since retiring, we have spent most of our time remodeling Carson's Cabin with the thoughts that most of our free time will be spent there since getting up early to go to work is no longer a concern. Many of the upgrades we've made have been to make life easier for us while also appealing to the 'guests' we may have stay in our house.
Carson is now 9 years old and developing into a fine "little man". One of his hobbies is fishing in the river or, when the fish aren't biting, jumping around the rock or simply playing in the river.

Well, if you read the section above, you know that's exactly what I 'DIDN'T' do. I was upset when my grandparents sold the property so when the opportunity presented itself for me to buy the house, there was no doubt that I had to have it. Obviously with the name (Carson's Cabin), I have no plans of selling and hopefully, one day, this house will be his!!

If you're fortunate enough to be here on Sunday mornings, be sure to take your cup of coffee to the back porch and listen to the church music from Bat Cave Baptist Church right across the river and up on the mountain. An unforgettable experience!!
Spend time down by the riverside. We have a large fire pit and chairs on the lawn for your use and enjoyment. The sound of the river is almost 'hypnotic'; you will definitely feel the calming effect!!
