Ligger på höjderna kommer du att beundra det gröna panorama över omgivningarna från den privata poolen. Huset består av en uppsättning av 6 rum på 135 m2 och täcker således en gårds vinge.

Comme à la maison en mieux !

Superbe gîte dans un environnement campagnard magnifique. Très bien situé à MONEIN, proche du centre ville. Des vues splendides, environnement très calme et serein. Le parc est très beau et bien entretenu. Le logement est très accueillant, spacieux et très bien équipé. L’hôte est très accueillant , plein de bon conseils et passionné par sa région.

Perfect!

A really lovely property with every amenity you could need. The location is beautiful, only a mile outside of Monein, which is a great little village, but you feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere surrounded by beautiful landscapes of rolling hills & vineyards. Thierry is the perfect host….friendly & super helpful, but not intrusive at all. We had a wonderful stay & would love to go again. Thankyou Thierry for your beautiful cottage.

It will break your heart to have to leave

The house and grounds so beautifully curated and maintained by the owner Thierry is an absolute joy to stay in. Wildlife abounds - deer appearing in the field, butterflies, birds of prey, geckos and the star of the show the midwife toad whose sonar like call will astonish! Monein is good for provisions but you may need to travel further afield for more entertainment. My advise - bring things to occupy yourselves at the property and make the most of this bewitching place. Thank you Thierry for the warmest of welcomes and for your kind recommendations

Excellent all round..!!

We all waited 3 years to get to this property and we were not disappointed. Everything was there that we needed, the location was fantastic, room enough for 6 adults and the host was more than helpful when we arrived and explained the location, the property and where to go for trips and supplies..!! Could not fault it at all. Locations around at easily reached from here, nothing is more than an hour away. Absolutely fab will come back again. Thanks Thierry

Fabulous Gîte

Thierry is a wonderful host, super friendly and helpful. The gîte surprised with its own long drive through the vineyard, superb accommodation and wonderful views. Quiet, private and luxurious. We loved it. Monein is a lovely little town. Trips out to the Pyrenean villages were a real treat.

Lovely house close to the Pyrenees

We had a great stay in this lovely house. The owner, Thierry, was a wonderful host and made us feel immediately welcome. The house is beautifully maintained and very well equipped and is comfortable and well laid out. There is attention to detail both inside and out, and a real charm to the property. Thierry has clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making this a really nice place for his visitors. A highlight for us was the amount of outdoor space, all for our private use. There are beautiful views from the front of the property, as well as a covered seating area. There’s a small swimming pool (great to cool off in for all ages). Although close to the small town of Monein (only a 10-15 minute walk), it feels like you’re in the middle of the countryside, so the best of two worlds. Monein has a small supermarket in the town centre and a larger Intermache a little further away. There’s also a butchers and a couple of boulangeries and a small local market on a Monday and Friday, so it was easy to pick up provisions. There’s also a bank (including ATM) and a couple of cafes. There’s a tourist office too with information on the local area. The house is close to the Pyrenees and also has walks directly from the house itself. Pau is a about half hours’ drive away and the Atlantic coast and Basque country are not far either. A really great place to stay and we would highly recommend. We’d definitely like to come back.

Nous avons passé de très agréables moments à 'Clos Danty'. On aimait beaucoup la grande maison renovée avec goût ET très bien équipée. Les contacts avec le propriétaire étaient très sympa. Une très belle propriété dans une région magnifique

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans la maison de Thierry. La maison est très propre, bien équipée, et offre une très jolie vue. Elle est à la fois très calme car isolée de la route, et proche des commerces (15 minutes à pied, quelques minutes en voiture) du centre de Monein. Un bon point de départ pour de nombreuses excursions. Accueil parfait de Thierry, toujours de bon conseil.

Superbe séjour de normands en Béarn

Séjour hivernal dans cette grande et belle maison , où rien ne manquait et tout fonctionnait à merveille. Jardin et maison parfaitement entretenus . Accueil très chaleureux de notre hôte Thierry, à l'écoute et de bon conseil . Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le feu dans la grande cheminée. Nous recommandons sans hésiter ce gite qui donne envie d'y revenir.

Well appointed gite in a stunning location

The photos do not adequately convey what a truly amazing place this is, nestled among vineyards with views across the valley and to the Pyrenees, it is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The gite has all the mod cons but also little extras such as fans and mosquito nets over the windows to make your stay more comfortable and the kids loved the pool, the games available and the space to explore. The gite was for us ideally located a mile from the town, walking distance to its several bars and restaurants, and we were also able to take hikes in the beautiful countryside directly from the gite itself without having to get in the car all the time. By the way the gite comprises the front of the house. The owner visits at the weekend and lives in a private wing at the rear. It is also only an hour from Biarritz and it’s beaches and also the Pyrenees in the other direction. We spent 2 day trips Lacs d'Ayous, which is lovely and 2 visiting the coast. Thierry owner, is most welcoming and excellent at providing suggestions/ recommendations, we had an excellent holiday and I would highly recommend!

Superbe propriété, accueil des plus chaleureux

Thierry est un hôte chaleureux, il nous a conseillé tout au long de notre séjour. La maison est pleine de charme, très bien entretenue, l'environnement est simplement splendide ! La piscine au milieu des vignes est top ! Nous étions 5 adultes et un bébé et nous avions des chambres grandes et confortables. Le gîte est très bien équipé, merci encore pour les gentilles attentions, ce fut un plaisir de découvrir la région.

Merveilleux séjour dans une très belle région

Maison authentique, pleine de charme avec son ancien chais. Rénovée avec beaucoup de goût, chambres spacieuses et lumineuses, belle salle de bains à l'étage, salle de douche moderne au rez-de-chaussée, cuisine très bien équipée, grand séjour avec cheminée et petit salon TV cosy. L'extérieur est magnifique ! La piscine est idéalement située, très sécurisée, les vignes tout autour et toutes ces belles potées de fleurs !! Un plaisir pour les yeux. Le coin barbecue est parfait pour déjeuner ou dîner à l'abris. Mais plus que tout, c'est l'accueil très chaleureux de Thierry que nous retiendrons, hôte à l'écoute, de bons conseils et toujours aux petits soins. Nous avons apprécié !! Merci pour tout et au plaisir !!

Très beau gîte dans un très bel environnement

Le gîte fait partie d'un très bel ensemble de bâtiments anciens, restaurés avec beaucoup de soin. Il est idéalement situé au milieu de vignes et de bois desquels sortent au petit matin des chevreuils ! L'accueil est particulièrement sympathique et Thierry est de très bons conseils, en vins et charcuterie notamment. La maison est remarquablement bien équipée et parfaitement adaptée à une famille de 5.

Well presented and comfortable property with stunning views.

We enjoyed a lovely winter break in this comfortable and cosy property. Our stay encompassed skiing in the Pyrenees and visits to the Atlantic coast, both within driving distance. Arriving back in the evenings we enjoyed a glass of wine in front of a glorious log fire. Thank you Thierry, for being a wonderful host, for all of your local information, weather predictions and the wonderful homemade foie gras!

Une perle dans le Béarn

Un gîte impeccable, un endroit de rêve! Situé dans les vignes, avec une vue sur les Pyrénées, une piscine entourée de fleurs, un terrain vaste, une grande maison avec tout le confort, incluant une cour intérieure , un abri pour la pluie avec BBQ . Le gîte est propre , très bien entretenu. Il y a ustensiles ,vaisselle et outils de cuisine en abondance et appareils en très bonne condition. Bref , il nous est impossible de trouver la moindre faille à l'accueil impeccable et chaleureux de Thierry Desponts. Nous étions quatre adultes et nous y avons séjourné 10 jours. Nous recommandons fortement et chaleureusement cet endroit aux voyageurs. Pour nous ce fut un oasis de paix et nous en garderons un souvenir inoubliable. Bravo à M. Desponts

reposant et dépaysant

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Monein dans cet superbe batisse de caractère. Nichée dans les vignes, nous avons profiter d'une vue superbe et d un environnement calme. La piscine est un veritable atout permettant de se détendre ou de s amuser en famille.Thierry nous a réservé un formidable accueil et nous avons eu la surprise de découvrir une corbeille de bienvenue. Le salon est tres cosy, nous avons pu profiter des livres et jeux bien achalandés. Les environs sont sympas et de belles ballades en montagne s offrent à nous. Il y a toujours un petit coin pour se reposer au bord de la piscine au salon ou sur la terrasse...TRès bon service même après coup car Thierry a eu la grande amabilité de nous renvoyer des vêtements oubliés sans même que nous nous soyons rendu compte.Vraiment une belle adresse que nous retenons et nous ne manquerons pas d y revenir....

Exceptionnel !!

Une très belle batisse restaurée avec beaucoup de goût et d'attention, entourée d'un jardin superbement entretenu prolongé de vignes à perte de vue...époustouflant !! C'est un véritable havre de paix. Le clos Danty a fait l'unanimité auprès des grands, comme des plus jeunes. A découvrir absolument. Sans oublier le propriétaire des lieux, Thierry, à l'image de la propriété : accueillant et chaleureux :)
