Surf Tide är ett hus i traditionell stil Edisto, precis vid stranden och bara några steg från havet. Det stora däcket utanför det stora vardagsrummet (med både en täckt del och ett öppet soldäck) ger en fantastisk utsikt över stranden och havet. Denna veranda och däck ger också ett skuggigt område under för att umgås nära stranden men utanför solen.

Njut av badtunnan på strandsidan, precis utanför det stora rummet. Denna plats har fantastisk utsikt över stranden och havet medan du kopplar av i spaet - perfekt för svala kvällar medan du njuter av solnedgången.

Detta hem har renoverats omfattande under de senaste tre åren. Renoveringarna inkluderar en fullständig renovering av köket, en renovering av ett av de befintliga badrummen på övervåningen och tillägg av ett komplett badrum till övervåningen på övervåningen, totalt 4. 5 bad. Andra uppdateringar inkluderar ersatt / uppdaterad inredning och möbler, installation av anpassade inbyggda våningssängar i 2 av sovrummen, nya golv i bottenvåningen, renoverat pentry nere och mer.

Det öppna konceptet på övervåningen stora rummet rymmer lätt en stor grupp, med ännu mer utrymme som öppnar mot det stora däck. Detta stora stora rum ger ett stort vardagsrum med bekväma, nya soffor samt en matplats med plats för 14 och ytterligare sittplatser för 3 på köksön.

Denna övervåningen planlösning i detta hem har 2 stranden vetter mot kung sovrum och 2 gata-vänd drottning / våningssäng rum. Övervåningen är planerad som ett centralt stort rum med 2 sovrum på varje sida. Kungen och drottningen / våningssängarna på ena sidan av huset har vardera ett eget badrum, och kungen och drottningen / våningssängen sovrum på andra sidan av det stora rummet delar ett hallbad.

Nedervåningen har ytterligare 3 sovrum - 1 drottning sovrum och 2 sovrum som vardera innehåller 2 enkelsängar. Det finns 1 badrum och ett halvt badrum nere, samt ett andra, mindre, vardagsrum. Observera att det för närvarande inte finns någon inre trappa mellan de två våningarna. Istället är åtkomst mellan golven via någon av de tre yttre trapporna. Vi har tittat på sätt att lägga till en inre trappa, så hoppas att vi i framtiden kan ha en inre tillgång mellan våningarna.

Wonderful place for groups with kids! Nap time is a breeze and you don’t have too pack up to go inside. VERY clean and very user friendly!

Wonderful House!

Family trip that included 9 grandchildren. So nice to be right on beach. House was very clean and spacious. Owner replied quickly when we had a question. All amenities provided. Will definitely plan to stay there again!

Excellent beach location with a wide views of the ocean. Several Loggerhead turtle nests near the property made for some very interesting beach exploring.

Family vacay

Enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our family. The only drawback is the lack of indoor stairs connecting the floors. The proximity of the house to beach is perfect. Very quiet, laid back vibe.

Thanksgiving Family Gathering

Such a wonderful property! We should know… our family has been vacationing at Edisto for 45 years! This house was perfect for our matriarch, siblings and their families. Everyone had their own space and a big enough kitchen to prepare meals and feast for Thanksgiving. We loved the deck (star gazing at night was anmazing) and especially covered portion. The hot tub was a bonus for our younger crowd and they loved the apartment downstairs! It was great to walk right out to the beach and enjoy a walk and the waves. And it was dog friendly, a huge plus! We will definitely be back. Thanks for such an accommodating space!

FANTASTIC Location, Property, and Hospitality/Service

This home is clean, comfortable, on the beach, and fully stocked! While this home can accommodate many guests, our stay was perfect with two adults and two dogs! The property manager is wonderful! He was very responsive, timely, and accommodating with anything we needed or asked. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a peaceful, quiet, beachfront stay. We will definitely be back and are very much looking forward to it! Thank you for a wonderfully relaxing vacation!

Beach House for Family Fun

Our group of 14 had plenty of space for rest and relaxation in Surftide. My favorite part was the large deck with roof right on the Atlantic. We also appreciated the outdoor showers, immense indoor dining table and 5 baths. Every question was answered quickly and fully. We would love to stay here again when we vacation at beautiful Edisto Beach again.

Great House for a Large Group

Rented the house to take our kids and their partners to our favorite beach. The house set up is perfect for a group. Bedrooms on each side with the living room and kitchen in the center. Lower level is its own apartment. Loved the rocking chairs on the deck. Furnishings were comfortable and perfect for a large group. We did have an issue in the house and notified the owner. They were very quick to respond and it was handled. Would definitely rent from them again.

Family time at Edisto

The rental process was simple. The house came supplied with lots of extras. Outside chairs, games for inside and out. Plenty of dishes and cooking utensils for our crew that loves yo cook. The back deck that faces the ocean was the perfect place to start and end our day.

Tommy and Will were wonderful with our family in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene—they cleared up the storm damage quickly under difficult circumstances. Instead of having to cancel our vacation they repaired damages and made sure the property was ready on time for our arrival. We enjoyed the upstairs deck for bird, boat, stars, and dolphin watching. The extra long dining table was great for meals, celebrations, and family games. From downstairs you could walk right onto the beach or sit in shade just feet away from the ocean and offered a private,fully equiped, unit for those wanting seclusion from the larger group. Many thanks to Will for all the swift follow ups in taking care of our requests.

Excellent beach front house for large families

Excellent location on the beach with great deck and hot tub to enjoy on cooler days. House is well stocked and laid out to support a mixed family vacation. Lack of interior stair was not an issue for us as the multiple exterior stairs are sturdy and contain relatively few steps (compared to more recently built houses that are more elevated). One note: driveway is short and steep and very close to the road so be aware depending on what type of vehicles you are bringing.

Great Vacation

Stayed for five days at the Surftide home.The property was exactly as described in the listing, no issues at all with "phantom" bedrooms or bathrooms, something we've experienced in the past with other listings.The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with the essentials - plates, bowls, silverware, glasses, etc...plenty for our group of 11 adults to enjoy meals rogether.The "bonus" kitchenette downstairs was nice because it had an additional full sized fridge.The beds were comfortable, nobody complained about how they slept.The AC kept the place cool and comfortable.The beachfront deck had a nice table and chairs situated underneath a shaded roof, which was great. There were also four all-weather rockers on the upper deck. The beach level deck area was also shaded, and had four Adirondack style chairs you could enjoy on the shadex deck, or bring out into the sand and sun.The hot tub on the upper deck was a highlight. Taking a relaxing soak in that while admiring the amazing views of the ocean was great. Sunrise soaks are highly recommended.The house is in a great location. Multiple restaurants, shops, and even a small Food Lion are walking distance away. Did I mention the house is literally ON THE BEACH! The host was very responsive. There was a small maintenance issue, which once the host was alerted had multiple contractors on site within a day to take care of it. A great stay in Edisto. Highly Recommend. largecand

Wonderful, EXCEPT, it wasn't that clean. Food and food wrappers under beds and sofa, ceiling fans and air vents full of dust. HOWEVER, the owner was very responsive and I suspect this was a one time event. THERE IS NO SCREENED PORCH, even though website clearly states there is. I think they lost it in a prior storm but haven't updated the website. Overall it was still a fabulous week and you can't beat the location. My observations are minor in the overall rating. Owner very responsive. I would return.

Beach house review

Good afternoon. Thank you for allowing us to rent your beach house august 20-27. We will however, not be back. The place is absolutely filthy and needs a full scrub down from top to bottom. We had to clean kitchen and bathrooms upon arrival. Their are spiders and cob webs on the ceiling and LARGE/ small cockroaches invading the home. Under furniture and behind living room chairs look to have been cleaned rarely, if ever. The vents are covered in dust , and mold on upstairs bathroom ceiling. The basement living smells like fish and is dank and honest to goodness the furniture feels damp from all the moisture. Not ideal when sleeping down there for a full week. I do believe the smell is coming from the refrigerator we pull the refrigerator forward to try and locate the smell and cleaned up some sticky mess under the fridge but the smell still comes from the fan in the refrigerator. While it was very enjoyable to stay on the beach and have a deck/ hot tub, it was a shame to have spent thousands on a rental that is just not properly cared for.

Kid friendly!

We liked that the great room had double tables that made puzzle creating, coloring, eating etc. easy! The tables helped keep the island clutter free! The built in bunks were a hit with our grandkids! The deck and furnishings were great. We enjoyed a low country boil Tuesday night. The guys found a local fish market to purchase large shrimp and scallops! The closeness to the beach was perfect for the little ones! On the down side, the refrigerator did not have an ice maker. The temp upstairs was really cold on the right side as you enter from the street and the downstairs shower had critters that climbed in the shower floor. These are all maintenance issues and the age of property and probably beach weather We did report a leak in the downstairs ceiling. These issues did not influence the memories made for the week with birthday celebrations and family and therefore the five star rating. We wished there had been a planned fireworks celebration on the 4th! Our kid arranged for a family picture taken on a beautiful treelined road rather than the beach. They also planned a Boy’s night out and a Girl’s night out at the local restaurants including a Sip and Paint for the girls at the Windham property! We appreciated William keeping us informed about the power outage and mailing my tennis shoes that I still can’t figure out how I overlooked!

Great vacation

Our family of 10 enjoyed our week at Surftide. Like the openness of the kitchen and family room. The bedrooms and baths were very clean and comfortable. The older boys loved being downstairs in their man cave. Have already booked for 2025

Beach charm

Just finished our annual family beach trip for our large extended tribe at this traditional beach home. This house is ideally located right on the ocean with forty feet of beach frontage and spacious decks for lounging and living. Plenty of indoor space also with a large dining area and a good sized kitchen. Parking for five cars. We greatly enjoyed our stay, and at least one of our family members said the 'best location yet.'
