Excellent home base for Sedona girls trip

We had a great time at this property. We were a group of 5 27 year old women and the space was perfect for us to use, close to amazing hikes and restaurants and very comfortable.

Disappointing Amenities

A resort fee was charged despite many of the resort amenities not being available- one hot tub was closed, fitness center was closed, very limited resort activities, no mid-week cleaning/refresh. The apartment was dated and not well maintained. The shower dripped constantly. The vents for the HVAC system were not screwed in properly and constantly vibrated and rattled all day and night. The thermostat did not measure the temperature correctly; it read 78 degrees but it was always very cold in the apartment. The location is good and there was plenty of parking. Overall it was an okay accommodation as a hiking based where one does not want to spend anytime in the room.

nice Sedona Stay @ Bell Inn

the property was very close to all attractions , especially the bell Rock and easily accessible to stores, restaurants etc. Check in process was good except that we didnt get a good view room which was discussed earlier. Properly was clean and stay was enjoyable.

Overall Great Stay

Location: Pros - Close to nice trails in Oak Creek Canyon Cons: From late morning to late afternoon, it is 45 minutes + in slow traffic for the 8 or so miles to uptown Sedona and trails like Devil's bridge. Hotel View: Pro - We had a 2 bedroom with a great view. Con - Not all hotels have a great view, nor is it guaranteed. Hotel Itself: Pro - Spacious with washer and dryer. For me the following is good, room service is only upon request. So no interruptions. Con - Internet service was down the majority of our stay. And, when "up", it was up and down. We had hoped to watch our photos on the TV using a fire stick, not so much. Really, this is a great place for a family vacation.

Perfect Location for Golf Vacation

The two bedroom condo was perfect for our golf vacation in Sedona. We had 4 guys and each of us was able to have our own bed. The pools and hot tubs were a very nice addition to have after a couple long days of golf.

The property was great. It was roomy, clean, and quiet

This property was perfect for my wife and I. Let's face it, if one is to come to a place like Sedona and stay inside and nitpick minute details that, in the long run, do not matter, then stay home. The property was quiet, clean, had everything we needed to cook, etc. We essentially used it at night to sleep in and to make breakfast in the morning. Otherwise, we were gone hiking or mountain biking. The resort staff are extremely polite and accommodating. As mentioned in other comments, there was no construction. Parking was simple. There are a few shops and places to eat within walking distance. For fun, we sat on the balcony and watched golfers tee off and shank balls in the drink. I will stay here again. For the price I paid for four nights, IMHO Sedona Ridge can't be beat. Also of mention, it is out of the fray and walking zombies of Sedona; Sedona Ridge is a few roundabouts away in Oak Creek Village.

Beautiful place to stay

We were really impressed with the whole place. No pressure whatsoever for timeshare tours. Was only asked once. Said no. Nothing else. What you get for the price is unbeatable. Thought the drive would be too much from downtown, but it went quick and its one of the most beautiful drives ever. The one bedroom is small but huge compared to a regular hotel room. Very clean. Building is beautiful and so is the surrounding.

Excellent!

Minor delays in checking in and pushy time share agents, but nothing we couldn't handle. The location is perfectly located only 10 - 15 minutes from beautiful hikes and downtown Sedona, but still far enough to stay away from the traffic and crowds.

No View!

The unit we stayed in was very nice and clean, however there was absolutely no view. Our ground floor unit literally stared into a rock hill. I realize the pictures shown "may not be the actual unit", but we did expect to either have a golf course or mountain view. Pool was nice but very crowded and we had to drive to it. Loved Sedona but will choose a different location in the future.

Great location for a trip to Sedona

We had a wonderful week at The Ridge at Sedona Golf Resort. We had a 2 bedroom, which was great for a family of 4. The location cannot be beat. Great views, close to hiking trails, lovely golf course, and away from the Sedona traffic/congestion. We would definitely stay here again.

Spacious, great location, well-equipped and clean.

Our family of 4, including 2 teenagers, stayed in the one bedroom and studio and it was a great arrangement with plenty of space for all of us. The condo was nice and clean and had everything we needed. The pull out bed was very comfortable, not a typical mattress with a bar across your back but more like a tempurpedic style. My 16 year old son said it was great and had no complaints about sleeping in it. The condo could use some minor updates such as shower heads with better was pressure. There were also some strange vibrating noises in bathroom and kitchen. Overall a great place and we would stay again.

Nice Location (with a few inconveniences).

We booked two nights at this property. First, the good points, it is in a great location when spending time in the Sedona area. We booked a connected unit which offered plenty of room for our family. The pool and hot tub were very nice and we enjoyed them multiple times during our stay, since the weather was in the mid- 80's. The unfortunate thing is that the property was having boiler problems that plagued us for a good portion of our stay, so we didn't have hot water for showers the first evening, and then again the next morning. The property managers were apologetic and did offer us a complimentary bottle of wine to partially compensate for the inconvenience. Also, where our unit was located, there were a lot of steps to access the pool area, which may be a concern to some travelers.

Great Experience! Will stay again if we go to Sedona!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at The Ridge on Sedona! The facility is beautiful! Our unit was very nice and right on the pool which was a bonus! We had the 2 bedroom lock off which was the 1 bedroom and studio units connected. It worked great for our family. Lobby was being renovated, so there was a make shift lobby in a couple of rooms. Did not cause any problems checking in/out. The facility has 2 hot tubs and a large pool. The parking was right outside of our unit, I think there is only one spot per unit, if you need more than one spot you should check with facility about other parking. The property is large and very spread out, if you would like to use the pool this unit is the perfect location. We were presented with attending a sales meeting and buying into a "free" vacation. When we declined the Concierge was a bit snippy and told us she had several discount on things in Sedona but they were only available for people who were interested in learning more about buying. We just went on our way and didn't let that effect our stay! Wonderful place to say, if we are ever in the area again we will stay there again and definitely recommend it to others!

Nice location; roomy

The condo is located conveniently a bit outside of downtown Sedona....much less traffic and commotion. The room was roomy and adequate, and the amenities were nice as well. The staff was helpful. Only negative is the carpet either needed replaced or cleaned. I would stay at the resort again.

Comfortable well located condo

We found the condo comfortable and well located in the quiet village of Oak Creek. The staff at reception of the Sedona Golf Resort were helpful. Condo is located with a view of the golf course and some red rock views. Restaurants were within walking distrance or short drive. The unit consisted of a main one bedroom with good sitting area and the second bedroom could have been a separate bedroom unit with seperate lock off. Facilities were clean with good linens but the kitchen would benefit from a few more cooking utensils, serving dishes and wine glasses.

Thanksgiving in Sedona

My family and I spent three nights at this location during the Thanksgiving holiday. Our party comprised of two adults and four children ( ages 7, 7, 13, and 17). We had more than enough space for all of us and I especially like that the children were in their own wing. We had a second floor unit with great views. The unit was clean and had everything I needed to prepare a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. We went to the Grand Canyon during our stay which is approximately two hours away. I would definitely stay here again as you can't beat the location, great front desk staff/conceirge, and all the comforts of home during your stay.

Very Good, Roomy, Clean. Furnish well for 4 adults

It was clean, well maintained. Home away from home. Washer and dryer was small, but handy. Our rooms were above Golf course, 15 green and 16th Tee box. Far enough from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to be anywhere within 20 minutes. I want to give it 5, but the swimming pool was up the hill from our area, pretty far walk up and back, with bum knee didn't try it. 4 adults had plenty of room, and with rooms opposite each other along with privacy doors between rooms if needed.

Great vacation

We had excellent time and plan on returning spring break. The facilities were excellent. Like we were at home yet on vacation. Two adults And two 11-year-old girls. The double bedroom wad perfect and gave everyone their space. There was golf, hiking, sightseeing and plenty of things to do with in a reasonable range. Checking in was smooth and cleaning came on Thursday.

Beautiful Place Super Clean . had everything we needed. June 2015

We had 2 Adults and 3 kids 14-11 & 8 years. Super clean and had everything we needed. We had two adjoining 2nd floor rooms with 2 beds, & 2 pull outs, 2 tables, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies and a washer /dryer. Beautiful views, quiet and located near the check in area at front of the resort, right near pool. At the pool they could use more umbrellas. It was 100+ degrees when we were there. Only thing possibly wrong was we we were supposed to have cleaning on 3rd day & they forgot. They quickly ran over towels & toiletries, so not a big deal. Took a Day trip to Grand Canyon ,about 2 hour drive, so great! Loved Milley's and Desert Flour Bakery( girls there are super sweet) and for breakfast and Bike and Bean for Mountain bike rentals. Pink Jeep tour to the Rock Art Caves was great too. As for Home Away, their link with all reservation info was not working, we were panicked because at first did not know where to because we did not even have the resort telephone number . The main office for Home Away was closed due to time zone difference. We unfortunately assumed we would have it all on our phone at our fingertips....We finally figured it out.

Great Spring Break

My family needed a stay for 2 nights in Sedona before going to the Grand Canyon for another couple of days. I have 4 teenage boys so I would have to get 2 hotel rooms. Although I had never used vrbo before this trip, I looked it up to see what offers I could find. The rooms were everything advertised on a great resort. Although we did not use the golf facilities, my boys did enjoy the pool and hot tub each evening after our day exploring the local area. The only thing that prevented a 5 was the master bath did not have a jacuzzi.
