Om boendet

Det är ett vackert hem, med ett bra läge, har gott om plats för hela familjen eller flera familjer. Detta snyggt inredda privata hem har också en vedeldad öppen spis på första våningen familjerum plus ett annat familjerum med ett Ping-Pong bord på lägre nivå, en gasgrill på däck, tillsammans med en tvättmaskin / torktumlare och extra kylskåp i förråd. Fire Pit, vandra ut genom dörren, lugnt område!

Du kommer att njuta av ett fullt utrustat kök med diskmaskin och plats för 16 personer för middag. Köket har till och med en skräpskompaktor som uppmuntrar barnen att använda det faktiskt! För att göra de kalla dagarna varma, gör all varm choklad och te med hjälp av den heta vattnet som direkt häller ut nästan kokande varmt vatten!

För att hålla alla skid- och styrutrustningar ur vägen finns det ett stort bagagerum på den lägre nivån som organiserar alla dina saker för att göra det enkelt att gå ut igen!

Denna plats har fyra sovrum: ett sovrum med en king size-säng i Kalifornien, stor garderob och ett komplett badrum. De 3 sovrummen på den lägre nivån har en drottning eller full säng och en uppsättning våningssängar. (X-Long i 2 av rummen)

Den lägre nivån soffan drar ut till en full storlek säng.

Den lägre nivån har ett badrum (dusch / badkar), på övervåningen har ett halvt badrum och en jacuzzi / duschrum. Det stora sovrummet har också ett komplett badrum. Och tillräckligt med varmt vatten för att duscha hela gruppen!

Det finns Wi-Fi för allt du behöver plus en ny platt-tv med kabel nere. Varje sovrum har en TV som är utrustad med DVD-spelare i varje sovrum och ett stort DVD-bibliotek för din njutning.

Denna plats är också en stor under andra säsonger, vandra direkt ut genom dörren och njut av naturen. Fågelfodrar kan hittas på baksidan av däck som ger en mängd vilda liv.

Perfect Family Get-a-way!

We reserved this property for a Celebration of Life event for our father's passing. We couldn't have been happier with the property! There were 14 of us at one point, and everyone had a place to sleep, even showers worked out despite many people wanting them in close succession. The kitchen is great, found everything we needed. I am so glad there is no TV in the upper living room, instead everyone played games and talked while playing music on the speaker in the kitchen. I don't think anyone ever even used a TV! We hiked to the pond at the top of the ski hill next to the house, dogs loved it! Close to town and in a beautiful setting. Campfire outside each night. The owners have made sure to include everything you could need here, we only brought food and drinks. Thank you so much for allowing dogs, we are a big dog family and it wasn't easy finding a place to fit us all. This was really a great place to stay, can't wait to do it again!

A Great Thanksgiving Holiday

We had the pleasure of staying at this home over the Thanksgiving holiday. My family of 16 adults and one 15-month old had a fantastic stay and we would highly recommend. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make a grand Thanksgiving dinner, and the dining table had plenty of leaves to accommodate all 16 of us sitting together. Because of the large number of vehicles that we had and the recent record snowfall in the area, parking at the home was pretty limited (3 vehicles), but with Lynette's help and the map on the wall in the entryway we got everyone safely and legally parked for the long weekend. Lynette was a wonderful host and despite my multiple emails to her, she never seemed to lose patience with me. She always provided not only the information I was requesting, but lots of additional information to help ensure a wonderful vacation at her home and in the village of Ellicotville. We are not skiers, but thoroughly enjoyed Lynette's home and Ellicotville's charm. We highly recommend!

Ellicottville getaway

This is the perfect property to get together with family or friends and go skiing or just hang out and explore Ellicottville!! Lynette was a great host! Very communicative and gave us tons of recommendations on stuff to do. The Chalet was clean and cozy and was the perfect gathering place for my group this past weekend. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house

We had a great time staying here. Lynette kept in contact with me and made sure everything went smooth. The house had everything we needed, loved the deck and fire pit. The beds are also comfortable.

Wonderful New Years stay!

This home (and Holimont generally) is such a special place and community! Even with a historic lack of snow, we had a wonderful stay! The house is exactly as advertised, clean and spacious, and perfect for 2 families (including 4 kids). The kids loved the ping/beer pong table! The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive - even offering us ideas of what to do around town since there were a few days when skiing was not an option! We loved it and can’t wait to return with some real snow!

Just Amazed!!!

The best stay we have ever had. The property in located in a scenic location amongst trees, valleys. The Chalet has everything one might need. Its a great location for a skiing vacation but we were in this palatial chalet for a summer break and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our sojourn.. Thanks Lynette , we cant thank you enough.

Very nice weekend stay

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this house in EVL. It was very cozy, super clean and well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The host was a pleasure to work with and was so accomodating and helpful. The only complaint we had and the host agreed was that new couches might help to make the living room area a little more comfy than it already was. Plenty of clean towel and lots of space for sleeping should it be needed. Basement area (where most of bedroom space is) was not damp at all and had so many fun things to do! We would definately stay again! Awesome street to take a little stroll on as well in the summer! I can only image how great this property would be if you were a skier.

A few days of fun

Rolled into Ellicott Ville to ride mountain bikes for a few days lifelong friends. The property was easy to check into, very convenient access to the town and a quiet comfortable place to relax. The owners made it quite easy for us to enjoy. Would recommend to other renters.

A nice place for a family get-away

The property fit the needs of our group well. We had sufficient space for all 13 of us and the family particularly enjoyed the fire pit which promoted good conversations. The location was convenient to town and attractions.

Wonderful ski retreat

My family and I loved staying here. The house is a perfect, cozy ski lodge with plenty of space and you can’t beat the ski in/ski out feature. The host was very at tentative snd easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Ski country delight!

Spacious, comfortable house in the woods. Ski in/out which avoids need to drive to private ski area. House is very well equipped, especially kitchen tools & equipment. Fireplace was a joy though the wood ( supplied by hosts) was not good for a roaring fire....we managed . We brought our own kindling which helped. House is built into hillside and is very vertical. People with mobility issues won’t be happy. Hostess was incredibly thoughtful, responsive and kind. She immediately answered any questions. Our winter experience at this house was everything we’d hoped for....it’s great for a big group but cozy for just a threesome like ours.

Family meet up

We were looking for a place to meet up with family in the east coast and feel so fortunate to have found this property. The house is great and the area is beautiful with tons of outdoor activities. The town has everything you need and Nothing you don’t. The owners are very nice and checked in to see how we were doing. House instructions are clear and easy to follow. Highly recommend!

Just what We Needed

My son and I spent 14 days at this perfect home that afforded us quiet, tranquil days amidst the trees and nature. Lovely hikes up the ski slope and further to discover Spruce Lake. Having ping pong and darts were appreciated. Many games were provided as well as several drawerfuls of DVDs to enjoy. Lynette was a thoughtful owner and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this tree-house feeling retreat.

Lynette Gerstel är värd

This chalet has been in my family since 1966 when my parents built it. They did a huge addition/gut to it in the late 1980's. Recently my family purchased it from my parents. Our family loves to ski at Holimont and we have many happy memories! It is the type of place, that when you walk in the front door, your shoulders relax and you know it is time to enjoy the people around you!

You can hike or even mountain bike right out the door! Making memories is why you would want to stay here. Lots of space for everyone and warm and cozy. We have enjoyed taking care of the place and want others to enjoy it as well.

Hopefully you will find this place as relaxing and fun as we do. We try to make everything simple, fully equipped kitchen with extras. Fire pit for time around the fire in the evening and nature all around you.
