Den första vÄningen har en fantastisk utsikt över Aldeburgh strand och havet frÄn sin förtjusande och rymliga salongen med franska dörrar som vetter mot en stranden balkong. Denna vÄning har ocksÄ ett rymligt sovrum med en dubbelsÀng och tvÄ lyxiga badrum med rulle topp bad och en promenad i duschen. Fabulous location. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the sea views. We were a group of 5 adults. We knew a couple of the bedrooms were smaller and that was fine for us. The living space was more important and you can’t fault the sitting room and its views. We would happily return. The town is lovely to wander around with nice shops, restaurants and pubs.

Lovely, comfortable beachfront home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Aldeburgh and the house was ideally located for seeing the town and local area. The beds were comfortable and both the kitchen and first floor sitting room were spacious and had everything our group of six needed. Our host was also very helpful with the few questions we had and responded promptly to our inquiries. We would happily stay again on a future visit.

Half term hreak

A lovely base in Aldeburgh, right on the front with great bvews from the first floor sitting room. The kitchen was well stocked with all the plates and pots and pans you might need. Accommodation under the eaves worked well for the kids.

View of the Sea

Lovely location in a lovely town! More than enough room for the two of us. And just across a small road from the beach and water. It was our second stay and I hope we will be back again. The view from the upper living area is fantastic and you can open the French windows for the sea air. The town is charming with restaurants, shops and galleries, and fresh seafood from the huts along the beach.

Long weekend with friends

Beautiful property with outstanding view. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We'd highly recommend. Aldeburgh is a gorgeous town too.

Lovely location

A lovely place to stay. Great location. Lovely sitting room. Lovely kitchen. Great views. There were 5 of us single ladies so 2 had to share. The room with 2 single beds had no room to move around and had no storage. The other room was bunk beds with no storage. The 2 double rooms were lovely. When running the bath you can’t use any other water in the property. Couldn’t find a hairdryer in the property. Couldn’t work the TV in the sitting room. Sky box seemed to be disconnected. Was told to empty bins in padlocked bins in car park but had no key. Contacted the host over the weekend but had no reply.

Met my uni kids here for a v chilly February break. Nice house fronting beach ( small road directly in front & behind, largish car park to side) nicely and tastefully furnished.

Lovely property ,well equipped and beautifully situated, enjoyed by all the family. One problem was the TV ,a note in the cupboard downstairs indicated that it was not working and we could not make BBC appear in the main living room

amazing location and sea views

We loved this property and the town of Aldeburgh as a whole - lots of fresh fish to be had, and many lovely stores and coffee shops, all in easy walking distance. The view from the upper floor living area was amazing, we sat in front of it every night watching the waves and walked on the beach every day. We had some issues getting access to the key - the key lock up was a bit finicky, but we eventually figured it out, and so pretty minor concern, so overall, it was a great experience. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely House in superb location

The house is spacious, stylish and comfortable. The sitting room has spectacular views of the beach and the sea. As well as being near the beach, it is only a short walk to the high street with several pubs, restaurants and shops. We had a wonderful few days and I would be very happy to stay in this property again.

Oakey House - Secret Garden annual trip

Our second visit to Oakley House .. as always the location is superb and meets everyone’s needs. Our only problem this year was the very bad smell coming from the bathroom drains, the owner was contacted and was very prompt in sending out the maintenance team .. unfortunately this did not alleviate the problem so I think it needs further inspection .. also following the recent outside redecoration (which does look superb) we were unable to open the bathroom windows to ease the smell of the drains. The cleaning team were also advised of the problem as we were vacating. I would still recommend this property to friends just need to address drainage concerns.

Fantastic Location

Great location, central to everything and beautiful views from the property. It has everything you need. Only improvement would be an oven - the Aga is gorgeous but very difficult to use to cook. All lovely otherwise.
