Det finns 13 miles av stigar att utforska på den egna gården och den har även en egen historisk monument - en gammal romersk Fort på Old Burrow. En fristad för vilda djur, har det fyra platser av särskilt vetenskapligt intresse. Det finns sällsynta arter av fjärilar och träd, stora delar av ljunghedar och imponerande klippa geologi.

Such a beautiful place to stay, the location is stunning. We particularly enjoyed the walks from the cottage, an evening stroll to see the beautiful sunset was so rewarding. On our last day we walked from the cottage to Lynton, a little challenging but so worth it. This coastal walk has amazing views. Would definitely love to stay again, very well equipped and the large fridge freezer is so useful.

Fantastic location and wonderful views of the sea from the gardens and kitchen window. The property was spotless and had every amenity you could wish for. We were a party of 8 and there was more than enough space for all of us. We have already recommended the property to our friends and are loooong to go back next year.

Exmoor is situated in South West Britain, specifically across West Somerset and North Devon. Often referred to as England's best kept secret, Exmoor is a wonderful holiday destination for anyone looking for a holiday in the great outdoors! There's so much to see and do, from short walks to long expeditions across the moors or horse riding, taking in a safari or sight-seeing at your own pace around the 'picture postcard' villages and hamlets.
It is a place full of contrasts; dramatic coastlines of plunging cliffs, sheltered bays and historicports, wide open space and wilderness of the moors as well as the wooded valleys with quiet trails for you to enjoy. Exmoor is a holiday destination of unrivaled beauty and interest.

Countisbury is an attractive rural parish in North Devon and within Exmoor National Park. The 'wilds' of the moorland literally tumble into the sea creating dramatic cliffs and a breathtaking coastline.

Exmoor National Park is a popular holiday destination for walkers, cyclists and horse riders as well as those wishing to enjoy the many square miles of beautiful countryside and coastline and there a few better places to experience these activities than Countisbury.

The picturesque villages of Lynton and Lynmouth are nearby, famous for the funicular cliff railway that runs between the two villages.
