The Rest. Pool, A/C, ocean, beaches, peaceful, views!
THE REST IS THE BEST APARTMENT IN THE LUPERON AREA NOW BACK ON THE RENTAL MARKET.
It has been used by family for the last few years but is now available for short term rental.
Close enough to the town, beaches, restaurants, and has a great come home feeling of getting away from everything and enjoying your very own space. The living area has a futon to accommodate an extra person. ($10.00 per day) Our pool is also a few yards away for your enjoyment. The Rest is separate from the main house built on a hillside overlooking cow pastures, the ocean and the bay, the town in the distance (5 min. away by car) and views of the majestic mountains. It is open plan with a queen size bed, hot shower, fully equipped kitchen, dining areas both inside and outside. There is a futon in the living area for a 3rd person ($10.00 per night).
The yard is full of colorful flowers and a path leads to a very private swimming pool with lounges and a tiki hut.
Luperon town is within walking distance (about 20 min) or 5 min. by car. The beach is a 15 min. walk from your door, and the restaurant serves rum, beer, chicken and seafood. Many restaurants and bars line the streets of Luperon, and many boaters, on their way to or from the Caribbean and Bahamas, stop here to enjoy our little town.
Our area is residential, so very quiet and safe. Attractions in the area include a 20 min. car ride to Isabella for fish/lobster, sun downers on the beach. Punta Russia is a bit further west also offer beach restaurants. A waterfall is 40 minutes away where tourists enjoy sliding and jumping down the falls, great fun! Small grocery stores are in Luperon, but major shopping (just like home) is in Puerto Plata and Santiago, our two bigger north coast cities. Motoconchos (motor bikes), mototaxis (a motorbike with a sitting area for 2 people - a tuctuc) and gwagwas (taxis) are a phone call away. A luxury bus also stops in Luperon that will take you across the island to Santo Domingo for less than $10.00.
Jose Tours is here to help you with tours and horse riding. We can also arrange airport pick up and car rentals in Luperon.
Luperon will give you the experience of enjoying a small Dominican town, and The Rest will give you the feeling of peace, independence and a place to call home.

The Rest is the nicest apartment around Luperon area. Immaculate and everything you will need for a perfect, relaxing vacation.
Many expats have moved here. You can make friends with the sailing community that come to enjoy our safe harbor and wonderful people.
Luperon boasts supermarkets, great fruit and vegetables, cheap beer and both local and international restaurants . Fresh seafood on the beach 5 min. drive or 15 minutes walk from you front door.
