Engelsk stil herrgård byggdes 1939 av den rika gamla ägaren Sir. Robert Pretty Barlow, beundrare av skönhet och gott liv. En föregångare till modern gay kultur, han var värd för författare, målare och berömda resenärer. Han själv en resenär hjälpte till att göra Taormina känt för många av hans landsmän och andra.

This place is excellent. The location and accommodations were great. Especially the air conditioning with us being there during a heat wave. Taormina is a beautiful city.

The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. It accommodated 4 people with ease. The beds were especially comfortable and the kitchen whilst compact was easy to cook in, we esepcially appreciated the coffee machine which made very nice coffee.The location was very convenient, close to shops, restaurants, supermarkets, etc.Furio was lovely and helpful, making great suggestions for restaurants (we really loved restaurant Malvasia!!!). As well as advice on the best beaches, the best way to see Etna, etc.

Furio was an excellent host!’

Upon our arrival we were met by the property owner Furio who spent time answering questions and giving us insight into places for grocery shopping, laundry, beach and restaurants. He made himself available for any other questions for the duration of our stay. Definitely would recommend this place.

Perfect Location & Hosts

Wonderful property. An incredibly happy experience. Perfect location for short, even longer stays as everything (parking, restaurants, markets) is just short steps away. And tops, Furio & Paola are simply amazing hosts. Frankly, the best we’ve ever VRBO experienced. Thank you so much for everything.

Amazing views and location!

Our hosts were terrific! They suggested several places to eat and all were great. The location is superb for visiting Taormina - a three minute walk to main area. Wonderful stay!

Great location and helpful host

We appreciated the host Furio helping us with parking and giving us an orientation to the apartment and area. He also helped with recommendations for restaurants. The apartment is in a great location, close enough to all the “action” but far enough away to be a nice restful place away from the crowds.

Excellent place & location

Our host gave us all the info to make our stay wonderful. Great location to everything we needed They arranged off site parking for 20 € a day. Breakfast buffet at the hotel across from us for 10€ pp. excellent food there also the restaurant had a rooftop bar Great food Our host was awesome. Highly recommend.

A dream vacation!

Furio's apartment is so lovely and in a great location, but the real bonus is how hospitable and helpful Furio was during our stay. From picking us up at the bus stop to helping us with dinner reservations, it could not have been a nicer stay!

Great location and helpful host

Very comfortable, spacious apartment with great amenities. Location is excellent. Air conditioning worked well. Extremely helpful host who helped us make the most of our stay, facilitating our transfers and really went beyond our expectations!

Taormina Hideaway

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. We were able to walk to many good restaurants and sites. Our host, Furio, gave us a great welcome and provided lots of information about the area and restaurants. He also arranged valet parking for us and facilitated the arrangements. The outside stairs were not always well lit at night. But overall, a great experience! We liked the balcony, too!

Perfect location!

Furio, our host, was fantastic to work with! He made checking super easy and was able to help us with our travel plans. He also gives you acres to a fantastic breakfast buffet at the Hotel Continental across the street with amazing views of the coast and Etna. When we arrived the shops were closed so he gave us a bottle of his own personal wine. The rooms are spacious and clean and it’s nice to have a sitting room with a patio. The location is straight up the steps from the Porta Catania which is the entrance to the pedestrian zone. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Amazing Taormina

Our wonderful host Furio could not have been more helpful, so thoughtful welcoming us with a bottle of Etna Red Wine. Location was superb, easy to access everything. Furio took care of our car, helped with local restaurants and pointed us in the right direction to experience amazing Arancini.
