Vår Sea Biscuit stuga passar precis för en stor grupp. Den har 7 sovrum, 6 badrum -1 med bubbelbadkar och rymmer upp till 25 personer!

Detta hus är utrustat med en hiss så att du inte behöver manövrera trappsteg.

Du kommer att ha fantastisk havsutsikt från de främre däcken samt en vacker utsikt över Hatteras National Seashore Sanctuary bakifrån. (Håll ögonen öppna för betande hjortar.)

Ett underbart sätt att börja dagen är att njuta av din frukost på däck medan du tittar på havet och sola i det varma Outer Banks solskenet.

Very nice location

Everything was good . Just hope they get a bigger refrigerator when this one needs replacing. Ice machine had its moments , but started working again . Excellent location for a short walk to the beach. Everyone enjoyed themselves and want to do it again

Family reunion

We had 4 families doing a lil family reunion trip to the beach and this place was awesome! Plenty of rooms and gathering spaces! Easy beach access and great location. We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to go again.

Wonderful house!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sea Biscuit!! The house had more than enough room to accommodate us and the location was perfect. The kitchens had everything we could have needed and the pool was a huge hit!! Communications with property management was a breeze, they responded to every inquiry immediately. We look forward to staying at this wonderful rental again in the future.

Excellent vacation experience

We had a delightful experience staying at this property. The location was very convenient, just on the other side of the bridge and the nearest beach access just across the street.. The house itself was well furnished, with a modern kitchen and bathroom spaces and plenty of eating and relaxing areas. The bedrooms were larger than we expected from the pictures. Management was great; my 3 year old got his car stuck in the pool table, and they came out and dislodged it on a Friday evening without fuss. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for big family

Our family visited and loved every moment of it. The pool table was a huge hit as well as the nice pool. The cottage is large enough for of us to have our own bedroom. I would recommend it to anyone. It's just a short walk to the beach as well with a private beach access and the ocean front was awesome. Not very crowded near the private exit. The elevator was a tremendous help with the coolers and groceries.

Huge house with lots of beds!

This was the perfect property for lots of guests. There were several bunk beds and fun places for the kids. I wish there had been at least one roll of paper in the bathrooms to start out though. Very frustrating coming in from out of town with 3 kids and expecting to be able to use the restroom but had to go buy toilet paper first. Otherwise, fun stay.

Thanksgiving getaway

It was easy to get to and not too far from the ocean. We enjoyed the pool table, tv's, and movie room. Since we had fewer than we expected to go with us there was more than enough space. We were missing a king size sheet set and the bed on the third floor was too hard and too tall for me to use. The sofas on the third floor were really comfortable. My grandchildren found someone's sock behind one sofa. It was so nice to have two kitchens since we were cooking a Thanksgiving meal. Also, if you are a very large person you will have trouble using at least one of the showers because it is so small. I know this sounds like a lot, but we really did enjoy staying in the property and plan to return someday. We really did love staying there.

Awesome Beach House!!!

My sisters, their daughters and our husbands came down for a long Thanksgiving OBX vacation. We have never been down to the Outer Banks during this time of year and just wanted to try it. We typically come down in the summer each year. We absolutely loved the house, Sea Biscuit! The furniture and decorations through out the house were very welcoming and a comfortable atmosphere. Although there were only eight of us, the house has so much space and the floor plan is wonderful. We loved that the top and lowest floors both had wonderful kitchens and a nice private feel. The decks were spacious with really nice furniture on them as well. The views from the decks were very lovely and you could get a nice view of the ocean and hear the waves crashing at night. We enjoyed sitting in the theater room watching movies. The chairs were so comfy and relaxing. All in all, we had a wonderful time during our Thanksgiving stay and loved staying in the house. I would highly recommend this house for OBX vacationers!!!

Rustic but spacious

This house is definitely spacious but in need of a deep clean and updating. It seems like this house has not been given the care it deserves because it is a very lovely place to stay. Kitchens and all Bathrooms need to be upgraded and the whole house needed some scrubbing. The locks on the exterior doors did not all work as they should have. Our family did enjoy the common spaces that provided lots room for visiting and game playing. But, many of the things we were looking forward to using on rainy days were not working. The air hockey table did not really work and the DVD player in the theatre room ruined movie night. 3 of the decks had huge and active yellow jacket nests.

Great time had by all!

I stayed at Sea Biscuit with all of my kids and grandkids last month. We had a great time there. The pool was clean and nice sized. The kids played games, watched movies, and ate popcorn in the theater room. The walk to the beach was short and easy. There was lots of parking for the various families arriving from different locations. The check-in process was easy and timely. There was plenty of seating for all 24 of us in the dining area. The elevator made light work of getting everything hauled in and out. There was only one hitch, which was a discrepancy in the listing regarding which rooms had bunk beds. That was quickly and satisfactorily resolved through messaging before we arrived. We cooked a lot of meals and had everything that we needed at hand. I had read some reviews about upgrades that are coming. They will serve to make a good thing better. For our purposes, it was a great place to stay, and I have no reservation in recommending it to others. And as a final note - I left a laptop behind, and was on the road a few hours away when I got a call that it had been found in the house. It was sent and back in my possession before it was even missed! We would definitely stay there again.

Overall a great stay!

This one is a tough one for me because I am a very positive person and rarely complain about anything. Overall, my family had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed the house, especially how close it is to the beach! There were some hiccups along the way, and I appreciate honest reviews, so I'll give one. The main reason we booked this property was for the fun activities the house had to offer that our kids would enjoy. The theatre room especially. However, the remote was nowhere to be found so we could not use it. I called management and was offered a credit. Although we appreciated the refund gesture, we were more disappointed in not being able to have movie nights. But, we ended up finding a different remote that worked. And then maintenance showed up the next day with a new one! The next day we went to Duck Donuts, we'd never been before and we were so excited! We spent $36 on 2 dozen donuts. We went fishing and when we got back, the donuts were covered in ants. Not only did we have to throw them away but Duck Donuts was closed the rest of our stay so we never got to taste them. I contacted maintenance and they were out the next day to set traps. We used paper products as much as possible but after fixing a large dinner, we needed to use the dishwasher. It didn't work. I called maintenance and they came right out to confirm that it was indeed broken. Since hand washing is not allowed due to COVID, we had to carry all of the dishes from the third floor to the first floor to run them in that dishwasher and then return them all to the top floor. It took two loads and was definitely an inconvenience. Things break, it happens. My kids love playing darts (another reason we liked this house) however, there were only two and a half darts and both of them had bent tips and would not work. We also love to play pool, but there wasn't any chalk available so every shot you took was a slip and it made it really hard to make accurate shots. The TV in the game room was not clear at all. By this time though, I'd contacted them three times and didn't want to bother them again. If I called them, I'm sure that they would have corrected the issues! They were so nice and attentive! The beds were so comfortable! Plenty of space inside. The beach is right across the street and the porches were awesome to watch the sunrise. Maintenance was very quick to respond and nice as can be! Even though we hit a couple of bumps in the road, we made some amazing memories.

Nice location

House was just across from beach access. Kitchen well stocked and nice to have two fridges and two stoves. The only down side was the TV in living is to far up, you have to sit with head tilted back to watch and the bunk beds in with the main beds. which give very little room to move around. The main thing is we had fun with the family

Our Founder, Dr. Sarah Forbes passed away in 2011. She was a compassionate physician, dedicated to her patients becoming Norfolk General’s first female chief resident of OB/GYN.
In 1958, she became the first female physician to open a private OB/GYN practice in Newport News, VA.
Dr. Forbes was the first woman to be selected to the board, and the first female president, of the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula, where she was honored as a member of the “Wall of Fame” – the first and only woman to be so honored in the club’s 65-year history.

Sarah was often honored for her contributions to the organizations she served, and the community she loved.
Among her many awards were the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities’ Humanitarian Award in 2007, and the Medallion Award which is the highest recognition presented by The Boys and Girls Club of America to volunteers.

She served as president of several community organizations that include the Virginia Peninsula Academy of Medicine, the Newport News Chapter of the American Cancer Society, the Newport News Medical Society, and the Peninsula Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Her generosity benefited many organizations, including the Cancer Society, the Newport News Medical Society, the Peninsula Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Family Planning Council, First Baptist Church of Newport News, the Peninsula SPCA, Mariners’ Museum, Riverside Hospital, and Christopher Newport University.

We are continuing Dr. Forbes’ Legacy
All of our vacation homes are owned by Sarah E. Forbes MD, Trust which continues her legacy by using our profits to make regular donations to the charities she loved.
We take care of the houses like she would have wanted.
