Remodeled 4 sovrum 2 badrum fullt hem. 10 sovplatser plus plats för ytterligare luftbÀddar (medföljer). 2 sovrum har dubbelsÀngar. Sovrum 3 har 2 full storlek. Sovrum 4 (nere) har 1 full och 1 tvilling, bra för barnen !!. Dessutom finns en torrbastu med 4 till 5 personer och en tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare i kÀllaren. Det finns en bifogad 2 bil garage omvandlas till ett rekreation rum med ett bordtennisbord (ping pong inte tillgÀnglig under vintermÄnaderna).

Hem ligger gÄngavstÄnd till centrala Frankfort och Lake Michigan. Helt tvÀrs över gatan Àr en stor park med basket, tennisbanor och skatepark. Rida dina cyklar rakt ner pÄ uppfarten till hundratals miles av vandrings- och cykelvÀgar. MataffÀren Àr bara tvÄ kvarter bort !!

Om du vÀljer att köra hemmet Àr det bara 20 minuter söder om Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. Att gÄ österut Àr du 20 minuter frÄn skidorten Crystal Mountain eller 20 minuter frÄn historiska Cherry Bowl-in. För en lite ytterligare enhet Àr du 40 minuter frÄn downtown Traverse City eller 45 minuter frÄn mitten av vinlandet. Slutligen 25 minuter söder Àr Arcadia Bluffs Golf Resort (det finns 3 andra golfbanor i varierande prisklasser inom 20 minuter).

Om du valde att koppla av hemma gav vi en 50-tums plattskÀrm med DVD / Blue Ray. Det finns ocksÄ gott om brÀdspel och bordtennisbord (pingis ej tillgÀnglig under vintermÄnaderna) i frukostkrok och bifogat garage för familjen att njuta av. Koka sedan hamburgarna pÄ kolgrillen för en bra middag.

Trött pÄ att behöva en semester för att ÄterhÀmta sig frÄn din semester. Du fÄr det bÀsta av alla vÀrldar med detta hus. Njut av en riktigt avkopplande semester till ett överkomligt pris !!

Gem of a cottage!

Family loved the cottage and the location to the beach! Park acroas the street for all the family to enjoy! Minutes walk to downtown Frankfort and the beach! Chris and Pam are very responsive a great time was had by All!

We love Frankfort! Our stay was great. Very convenient to the park across the street and being able to walk to town was something new for us. Our hosts were quickly available and made our stay very enjoyable.

Frankfort Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at the Frankfort Cottage. Great location made it easy to walk to downtown. Nice playground across the street. House was clean and had a fully stocked kitchen which made it easy to prepare meals. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions. Our 2nd visit. Will definitely be back!

Comfortable little home.

The house was nice.It had all the basic things you might need, plenty of room for the 5 of us. I personally loved sitting on the large porch. Great house - Great Location

We loved our stay in Frankfort The house is across from a park where our kids played basketball and on the play ground Easy access to down town and beach We walked to ice cream almost every night. Outside areas provided for great conversation and game night activities. And the Sauna was a special treat. Would definitely stay here again

Our favorite things were the location to downtown Frankfort (and the beach!) and the ping pong table / hangout areas available in the house! Owners were very responsive and helpful!

Great front porch and location

We spend large amounts of time on the porch during our stay, watching the world go by and all the people enjoying the park across the street. We walked to town every morning. Won’t be able to rent the house again next year because of having a walking toddler around the many steps in and outside of the building. We were very comfortable and would highly recommend this stay

Easy access to the beach and downtown

The house has a great location. You can walk the back streets to the beach and easily to downtown in 15 minutes. The front porch was readily used.

Family gathering

I grew up in Frankfort and get together with family once a year to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas early. This house is always clean, and hosts are very open to communication. It's across the street from the part and and just down the street from my parent's house, so very convenient. Very roomy, and homey feeling.

Wonderful Getaway!

We had a lovely stay in Frankfort! The home was so cute and was laid out very nicely. Plenty of room for our party of 7 to enjoy time together each evening. The big family room couch was cozy had room for all! During the day there was a lot of wonderful things to do for our family in town and the Frankfort beach was wonderful for the kids. So many hiking trails that led to the beaches and Sleeping Bear dunes near by was another big hit with the whole family The home was stocked with all the basics you could need, beds were cozy too! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

Girls weekend

This home was perfect for our long weekend. Big space to sit around and visit with long time friends in front of the fireplace. There were 4 of us so we each had our own bedroom. Town was walking distance and lots of stores open. We even had a nice day to sit on the porch and watch the kids at the park. The only thing I would recommend to pack is a makeup mirror. Since there was 4 women in our group we felt an extra mirror or two would have helped. We highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to enjoy Frankfort.

Great location!

We have visited the Frankfort/Beulah area for years now and this is the first time we found a home in Frankfort that would work for our extended family trip. It accommodated all of us nicely, all of our kids loved the park across the street, and it was just a short walk into town. For the price, you can't beat the spot! The only things I would note for future renters is the slope down to the road in the front yard is steep and there is open access to the basement steps so that may be challenging with littler children. The road is a busier one so just be aware for kids going to the park. There isn't a dishwasher or central air, but we managed fine without both. I do think some new pots would be helpful in the home. Overall we had a great vacation here and the host was wonderful!

Cozy and conveniently located

We stayed over New Year’s with our small dog, young adult and teen children and the house was a great place to stay. Check-in was clear and communication with the host when we had an issue with the cleaning company (not the host) was extraordinarily fast and responsive. Town was very quiet, and the place is close enough to walk to the local coffee shop and down to the beach for a morning stroll. The playground and skate park right across the street are great— bring a basketball to shoot hoops there in the summer. One of the bedrooms is in the basement (with an egress window, so it’s safe) so know that going in. We didn’t use the dry sauna. The small dining table is near the entrance and seats 4, so if you have a larger group you’ll be eating meals in the living room— not a problem at all for us, but FYI. The main bathroom and shower is amazing and brand new. Overall this suited our needs and we’re glad we chose it.

Good location for walking/biking into town/beach

Good location for walking/biking into town or beach. A previous review stated below-which commensurates with our experience (a family of four adults which was well suited for eating area inside for only 4 people). "This cottage is a very cute cottage and there are some nice things about it. Highlights included the location, it's light & bright inside, the master bath, the sauna (we didn't use) lighted patio (we didn't use-lots of leaf debris etc. out there, washer/dryer (we didn't use) communication & flexibility with check-in/out, and the front porch" "Things that were downsides for us (our family too), which could be easily improved upon include the need for new towels & some washcloths, (I would add new sheets-one room's was stained), new silverware and cooking utensils, overall cleanliness, new (CLEAN) set of cookware/bakeware, (microwable glass dishes for microwave) a clean fridge/freezer" (food left and spillage debris in freezer) and a small dishwasher so that the dishes in the cupboards are clean. (or a small container to wash the dishes -we ended up using one filled with household stuff under the sink-so the whole sink was not needing to be filled with water for washing and/or leaving dirty dishes). I have to add -sweeping under furniture, wiping down furniture spills baseboards for clean appearance a must. "The owners have obviously done a lot of work on the cottage and these additional tune-ups would make it a really nice rental & overall experience. "

Wonderful house in charming town

We spent a week at this home - myself, my wife, our 21-year-old daughter and our 18-year-old son, and we had a wonderful time! The kitchen was adequately appointed with large modern appliances and enough plates, silverware, pots, pans, and cooking gear (but no dishwasher). The living room was spacious and comfortable. The basement washing machine and dryer were older but worked just fine. There was no dining room per se, just a breakfast nook down the hall with a table that seats four or possibly five. The bathrooms were clean with plenty of hot water but not enough pressure to run both showers at the same time. The ping pong table in the converted garage was a big hit with our adult children, and we used the room as a convenient and safe place for our cat to stay overnight. There was no air conditioner, but this far north, even in August, it was not needed. The big attic fan with the windows open was sufficient. The location was great. The house was walking/biking distance to the Frankfort shops, public beach, bike/kayak rentals, grocery store, and several excellent restaurants (plus multiple ice cream shops). Sometimes we were lazy and just drove there in three minutes. Parking was generally not a problem if we were willing to walk a couple blocks during busy hours. Further afield, the Betsie Lighthouse, Crystal Lake, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Traverse City were all close enough for a day trip. And right across the street was a park where I played basketball with my son.
