Appletree Cottage är en mysig, ljus, nybyggd lyxig självhushållsstuga i lugna omgivningar i Loch Lomond och Trossachs nationalpark. Med upp till 8 personer i fyra sovrum med eget badrum, har Appletree ett stort och rymligt vardagsrum med vedspis och bildfönster med utsikt söderut över öppen landskap.

Användare med funktionsnedsättningar kommer att hitta enkel tillgång till bottenvåningen bostadsyta och angränsande bottenvåningen badrum sovrum och uteplats eftersom de alla är på en nivå Det finns gott om utrymme att vända rullstol (se separata detaljer)

Beläget i sin egen privata trädgårdsstuga har en privat uteplats tillgänglig via en stor skjutdörr från vardagsrummet för uteservering.

Den högisolerade stugan (EPC Band B) med värme och varmt vatten som tillhandahålls av vår egen lantgårdspanna använder lokalt hållbart trä för att ge ett vackert mysigt bekvämt hem hemifrån.

Det här är den perfekta platsen att luta sig tillbaka och engagera sig i lite djurliv och ännu bättre. Du behöver inte gå långt för att se några av Skottlands sällsynta och ikoniska djur och fåglar i nationalparken.

Just perfect!

Photos truly don’t do this place justice. We absolutely loved our stay and are seriously considering coming back. The rooms were spacious, beautifully maintained, and everything felt either brand new or in excellent condition. The hosts were available if needed, but everything was so well organised we never had to reach out. The views were stunning, and the location was perfect—close to shops and local attractions. Highly recommended!

Christmas week

We had a lovely stay, the house is beautiful & the photos perfectly reflect the property & the grounds. The local area is stunning & it is so close to Glasgow. The EV charger was an added bonus. I would happily recommend this property to my fiends & family.

Great weekend retreat

Cottage exactly as presented. Well designed, warm and a great retreat, whilst still being accessible to amenities. Good location to climb Ben Lomond. Owners very helpful about resources in the area. We had a great Sunday lunch at the Old Mill in Killearn. Thankyou we had a lovely relaxing weekend

We LOVED this cottage! Highly recommend!

This cottage is amazing - great layout, very clean and surrounded by beautiful views of the countryside. It is centrally located for day trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Pitlochry, St Andrews, etc. and the best thing is that after a full day of fun, it was great to come back to a quiet luxury retreat! Murray and Alli were awesome hosts - they provided great information, tips for traveling in the area and were very quick to respond when we had questions. Our group consisted of my mother in law 80+, husband, son, his wife and our 6 month old grandson. This cottage worked well for all ages. High chair and portable crib were provided and worked out perfectly. We plan to visit again and will definitely stay here. It's so beautiful, functional and convenient!

Family get together!

The property was perfect for our needs of spending some quality time together in a more than comfortable environment. Each of us had our own bedroom and bathroom with large, comfortable beds and excellent showers. The log burning fire and amazing countryside views made staying inside a luxury. The many walks and country pubs nearby kept us entertained. Boating on Loch Lomond was less than 15 mins away. Finally, we must mention our accommodating hosts, Murray and Ali who were there to welcome us and help throughout our stay. From electric car charging points to borrowing rice & purchasing more logs. Thank you!! Perfect mini break!

Quality accommodation

Very good standard of accommodation. Very comfortable beds, bright and airy lounge area with high windows. Very rural location. Quiet but no pubs/restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend for a large group (8 adults).

Warm welcome and beautiful cottage

Appletree Cottage makes a great home base to explore Loch Lomond and Glasgow! We rented a car and made lots of day trips to explore the area. Alli and Murray were very welcoming and helpful with their instructions and recommendations. And beautiful Scotland exceeded our expectations!

schönes großes Ferienhaus neueren Baujahres mit ausreichend Platz für unsere mitreisenden 3 Parteien. Gut fanden wir die vielen Bäder. Mitten in der Natur mit tollem Ausblick. Nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter, die uns sogar ein Paar Snacks für den ersten Abend vorbereitet haben und viele Ausflugstipps gegeben haben. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge am Loch Lomond. Der Urlaub war sehr schön hier, würden wieder kommen

This property over delivers on facilities, cleanliness and the owners could not have been more helpful both before we arrived and during our stay. Absolutely stunning 5 Star location & property

Amazing property set in a stunning location, within a 10 minute drive to Loch Lomond. Top end quality, stunning views and fully equipped home with everything you could wish for. The Appletree cottage is perfect!

We had a great stay at Appletree Cottage- the hosts were lovely and the cottage was spotless and had everything we could need for a great stay. It’s also nicely located so that getting to Balmaha and Balloch are both easy car journeys- we would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful property lacking absolutely nothing - very helpful and friendly hosts

We enjoyed a great 3 nights at the property. Everything was as advertised and instructions to find this gem couldn't have been clearer. Lovely new building set in fantastic landscape made this stay absolutely enjoyable even with mixed weather. A perfect property to de-stress whilst not having to do without luxuries such as en-suite bathrooms for every bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and wifi. We will come back!

FABULEUX !!!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le gîte est magnifique, très bien situé pour découvrir la région du Loch Lomond . Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et se sont rendus très disponibles pour nous donner toutes les indications. Le gîte est excellemment bien équipé, on se croirait à la maison.... Nous avons également très apprécié le panier d'accueil . C'est un hébergement fortement recommandé et si nous en avons l'occasion nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner.

We built Appletree Cottage in 2016. Architect designed specifically for the holiday vacation self catering market the cottage has proved a great success with many guests.
We enjoy meeting people and are now experienced in running our popular venture.
After 20 years working in London it is a pleasure for both of us to return to Scotland and live in this beautiful part of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
The farm is an apple orchard (hence the name of the cottage) and in the autumn we produce and sell apple juice and jellies locally.

Appletree Cottage is great for family and friends reunions.
The living area is ideal as it is large and open plan with ample space for eight people. As the lounge, dining room, breakfast bar and well equipped kitchen are all in the one room it means every one is together and nobody is left out .
In sunny weather the private patio is perfect for alfresco dining with fantastic views across Cameron Muir to the famous Whangy and the Kilpatrick Hills. On cooler days sitting inside is just as good. The southern wall of the communal living area is glazed so bird watching and wildlife spotting are just as good from the comfort of your armchair!
The four bedrooms are all en-suite and can be made up either as four double bedrooms or as two doubles and two twins (with two single beds in each twin) This makes it superbly flexible for families.
Ideally placed within the world acclaimed Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park there are many local out door activities including golf (11 nearby courses) walking, climbing, riding, sailing, kayaking, pleasure cruising, clay pidgeon shooting, and visiting the islands on Loch Lomond.
On the damper days Stirling and Glasgow are easily accessible with their many attractions. There are local swimming pools, gym, spa, sealife centre and many castles and distilleries to visit!
Appletree is awarded 4 stars by the Scottish Tourist Board (Visit Scotland)
