I en byggnad från 1600-talet förbättras fastigheten, som nås via en suggestiv ingång, av en stor, möblerad terrass som vetter mot den breda dalen som har utsikt över Spoleto, Assisi, Bastia Umbra, Bevagna, Castel Ritaldi , Trevi, Montefalco och Perugia.
Residenset, vars välvda tak ger romantiska och välkomnande atmosfärer, är utsmyckade med förfinade möbler, kännetecknas av en stor och speciellt kolonnad vardagsrum med bäddsoffa, matbord, öppet kök utrustat med allt som behövs för en kulinarisk kvalitet "gör det själv" (diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn och elektrisk ugn) som ger direkt tillgång till terrassen. Ett stort sovrum med dubbelsäng och ett badrum med dusch fullbordar det charmiga erbjudandet.
Utanför finns också ett litet tvättstuga med handfat och tvättmaskin.

A charming hidden gem...put this on your MUST STAY list!

I'm having trouble finding the words to describe our stay! The location is breathtaking, the residence was so full of history and charm. Manuela had everything you could ask for to have the perfect stay. She was also a wealth of information about the area, where to eat, shop, explore. The view...amazing. We will definitely be back!

Lovely Stay in Spello

This is a nicely located accommodation near a number of historic buildings, the Medievel city wall, the Roman acqueduct, and several monasteries. The views from the house and garden were breath taking. The furnishings were very comfortable and interesting with an artisitic flare. There was lots of room, while quiet and private, yet conveniently located. We would love to return here on our next trip to Spello..

The right spot

I’m quite picky when I choose places. This was a good pick. There is plenty of space, the outdoor area is perfect, the location was superb. The bathroom is small, but so was every bathroom that we stayed in while in Italy, even high end hotels. Manuela, so kindly met us late at night to show us our accommodation and made sure that all of our questions were answered. I hope to go back.

Wonderful apartment in a charming town

This was our second stay here - we love the cozy, charming apartment and the nice view from the patio. Manuela is a wonderful host and the town of Spello is beautiful. We will return again!

Wonderful property, beautiful town, great host

This was a wonderful place to stay. The property was really well presented, has wonderful views, clean, quiet and has everything you could need. The location well positioned to explore Spello and also access our car. There was free car parking close to the property outside the ZTL. The host, Manuela, made us feel so welcome. She was friendly, helpful, very responsive and provided great information to get the most out of our visit. Manuela even invited to participate in the petal picking with the locals in preparation for Infiorata (Festival of Flowers). We definitely recommend.

Perfect location .

Excellent views and a perfect location to see the sights of Umbria. A spotless friendly town and this was the perfect cosy apartment to relax after sightseeing. Very cool inside due to the stone walls . Perfect on hot days . Thank wMa urla

Spectacular views!

We had such an amazing time in Spello. The apartment was more beautiful than the pictures and the sunsets we experienced on the terrace were breathtaking!!! Manuela was very responsive and provided great information on the area. We were very pleased and had a uniquely lovely time. I highly recommend staying here!!!

Beauty and History

I and my husband so enjoyed our five days in Spello. The property is unique, full of history and character with spectacular views. Manuela could not have been more accommodating and kind. We look forward to returning one day soon!

Beautiful stone apartment. Well decorated. The large patio with sunset views was amazing.

The owners were wonderful. Antonio even gave us a ride to Assisi at the end of our stay. The town is amazing and the apartment is beautiful. Very well decorated and quiet. The view patio is wonderful for the sunset. So private. Great restaurant recommendations. Comfortable bed. Can’t wait to return.

Fantastic experience

My wife and spent a wonderful week at Manuela and Antonio’s gite. The patio area over looked the plain below was a great place for an evening drink and watching the beautiful sunsets A special thank you to Manuela for help after my wife suffered an injury and needed to return home early. Fabulous location , beautiful terrace

I can’t recommend this property enough! The location is perfect. Very safe. We slept like babies. The terrace is beautiful. Everything you need is there in the apartment. The people of Spello are so welcoming. You won’t regret your stay here. We had a 2 year old with us and it was very comfortable and convenient.

Loved Apartment and Spello

This apartment was our Umbrian home for 12 nights. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The beautiful terrace was appreciated and enjoyed! Spello worked well as a home base for us to explore the other towns in the area (rental car needed). The restaurants in Spello are amazing. Manuela was a great host! Thank you! Cool haven in the beautiful village of Spello

We enjoyed our stay in Manuela’s apartment. Spello had a heat wave while staying so we enjoyed the cool provided by the ancient metre thick walls. Apartment is very comfortable with all amenities and lovely terrace outlook. Spello is a lovely cared for village with a mix of restaurants and wine bars. Felt very at home. Thank you to Manuela and to her lovely housekeeper Nadia - a very bright and caring person. Ciao.

Enchanting Medieval Village

Perfect location at the top of the village with amazing views. Hostess Manuela was friendly with brilliant English and a great sense of humour. Due to thickness of the walls the rooms were cool even in the 40oC heat. A fan would be useful for that excessive temperature to ensure circulation of air. Terrace has afternoon sun so is hot. Love Spello and it’s inhabitants. Great place to stay

We would come back here in a heartbeat!

Fantastic location in the hill town of Spello. We just wish we had more time to enjoy it. Two days was not enough. This is a place you could hang-out, sip wine on the patio with a beautiful sunset, take a walk through narrow ancient hill town paths to a variety of places to eat. Amenities abounded: two expresso coffee makers (and some coffee, a bottle of wine to greet us. Best of all was the hospitality of Nadia, who filled in for the owners while they were on vacation. She went out of her way to make sure we were happy. We were!!

Spello magic

What a magical place Spello is, and this property must be one of the best. The patio is huge with wonderful views over the valley and towards Perugia. If you are unlucky enough to have poor weather, the inside is also a good size, but we spent very little time there. We were in Spello with another couple staying nearby, and we frequently used the grill to dine together with the view - plenty of room for that, although the restaurants are also excellent. Manuela and Antonio were super helpful and speak excellent English. They live nearby, so were always available if we needed anything. We certainly hope to return.

Wonderful Stay

We had a major flight delay and inability to reach hostess due to cell phone issues. She patiently waited for us and warmly welcomed us despite our 4 hour late arrival/inability to communicate with her. We entered this beautifully, appointed flat with the best Western view of Spello/Umbrian plain for our 8 day stay. The location was perfect! We walked to restaurants/grocery stores etc every day. We purchased fresh fruit and vegetables at the market. We enjoyed being on the top of Spello. The aqueduct hike to Collopino was great! We did have a car and made day trips to Assisi, Orvieto and surrounding area. Don’t miss the Spello mosaic museum. Beautiful area and lovely rental. We enjoyed our stay.

Authentic medieval house with lovely terrace

From the start ie. the booking, the checking in, the stay and checking out it was an absolute pleasure to deal with the owners Manuela and Antonio. The parking is close by, is free and there is easy access to the house even with heavy luggage. The house is spotless, beautifully renovated , full of character and very comfortable for two. It is very quiet and private although, if the neighbours are home, they could overlook the terrace. The kitchen is well equipped and there is even a small oven for warming up meals. And then there is the large terrace on the same level as the living area with stunning views over the country side. It faces west-north-west so the sunsets are beautiful but it can become a bit hot in the afternoon and there is no shelter for rain. There is a table outside as well as chairs and deck chairs. We would buy top quality prepared food from the supermarket just outside the old village (not the one in the village itself) and had most of our evening meals outside on the terrace. You would struggle to find a better restaurant. Breakfast is also a winner on the terrace. Manuela and Antonio live in Spello and are only too happy to assist in the unlikely event of a problem. All in all we were not disappointed at all and had a lovely stay.

Large Terrace with Spectaclular Views

Comfortable apartment with a large private terrace and spectacular views. Directions were difficult to follow and we had to have the property manager meet us and actually direct us to the piazza near the apartment so we could unload our luggage and then find available parking outside the walls of the town. The location inside the walls of old Spello had pluses such as proximity to amenities such as restaurants and historical ambience but also a negative regarding distance to and availability of parking. The shower was a bare minimum curtain enclosing a small area with poor drainage in front of the bidet and a pallet style platform to elevate you off the floor of the bathroom. During the weekdays there was undisclosed construction going on next door with a very noisy tile saw making an incredible racket and making it impossible to enjoy the terrace while the construction noise was occurring. After notifying the property manager of the noise, he spoke to the owner of the property and the work was limited to beginning after 8 am and since we were usually gone in the later morning and afternoon, it remediated the issue for us. We really appreciated the small notes left throughout the apartment by Manuela to provide advice/information regarding the property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the apartment and the property managers, Anthony and Manuela, were pleasant and responsive to our requests and I would not hesitate to return in the future and highly recommend the property for location and ambience.

Unique Accommodation, Gorgeous Umbria

Greeted by host upon arrival? who helped with luggage and explained the ins and outs of the property and neighborhood. Very gracious and warm welcome. Apartment is fabulous, in ancient building, kind of like a stone hobbit cottage, very quiet, private and safe. Just delightful.
