Hearts House ligger ovanför den livliga staden Ambleside med en fantastisk utsikt över de omgivande fjällen - ett varmt välkomnande till Lake District.

Teresa, Andrea, Mike & Simon blev förälskade i fastigheten för nästan tolv månader sedan och hade en vision att försiktigt förvandla detta traditionella lakelandstenhus till ett modernt hem. Vi har gjort alla ansträngningar för att göra vårt hus så välkomnande och bekvämt som möjligt ... Vi kan kontaktas direkt för att berätta mer.

Hearts House har ett centralt läge med gott om parkering för tre till fyra bilar, på enheten vid sidan av huset och bara en kort promenad till staden.

Lämna dina rockar, stövlar och vård i korridoren och känna värmen från golvvärme och mysiga timmerbrännare på kalla kvällar. Vår samtida öppen planlösning på bottenvåningen gör att du kan laga mat, vin, äta, koppla av och känna dig som hemma i det vackra sjöområdet.

Eller om du föredrar att din semester i Hearts House, Ambleside låter dig prova ett brett utbud av restauranger och pubar, där du serverar god mat, lokala öl och ett pulserande nattliv. Det finns också flera vegetariska restauranger samt biografer, många butiker, klättringsvägg, vattensporter och enkel tillgång till fells utan att ens behöva flytta din bil.

Vårt hus rymmer åtta personer med fyra sovrum som kan anpassas efter ditt partis behov. Du kan välja antingen superking storlek eller enkelsängar med lyxiga fjäder- och duntäcken / kuddar eller hollofil om du föredrar. Sova dig bra i våra kvalitetssängar med 3000 individuella fickmadrasser, bestående av 400 trådlinne för extra avkänning. Vi har också en resesäng och barnstol tillgänglig.

Det finns två stora deluge duschrum, ett extra badrum med deluge dusch och en bottenvåning toalett, som alla har golvvärme och handdukstorkar för att hålla dig mysig under din vistelse.

Kök - fullt utrustat inklusive spis och spis; mikrovågsugn; diskmaskin; kyl frys; tvättmaskin och torktumlare.

Lounge och öppen planlösning matplats - Läder sittplatser för 8 runt timmebrännaren och 40-tums smart-tv redo att ansluta till ditt Netflix-konto etc. DVD-spelare tillhandahålls tillsammans med en topp av sortimentet underhållningshögtalare för Bluetooth. Det massiva matbordet i ek är utdragbart och omgiven av en ekbänk / lädersäten. En korg full av stockar finns för din användning.

Trädgården har fantastisk utsikt över Loughrigg Fell och Fairfield. Säker cykelaffär.

Användning av fritidscentret mittemot kan inkluderas som ett tillval till hyran för gäster som bor på denna fastighet.

It was a great vacation. We will come back. The descriptions of the house were perfect. The accommodation is close to the town center, yet in a quiet area. We felt very comfortable.

A Wonderful Week

Our adult family all enjoyed our stay at Hearts House. It's in an excellent location close to the village centre and all the shops, bars and restaurants. Also within easy reach of the main bus stops, so we didn't even need to use our cars. The beds were comfortable, 'deluge' showers very good, and the kitchen well equipped. Altogether an excellent property.

Wonderful week at Hearts House

Beautiful typical slate house on three floors just above the center of Ambleside. Modern kitchen and bathrooms, leather sofas, excellent mattresses, big windows and lots of light, glorious view from three front rooms. There is a half bath off the kitchen (no towel) and two full baths on the first floor, one with bathtub. There is an additional full bath on the third floor, so the top floor bedrooms share a bathroom. Towels, sheets are great but if you are local you might want to bring your own pillows. We especially appreciated the wood burner and the clothes dryer- something we Americans miss in most places across the pond. The house is well equipped with good walking info and there was even a waterproof map. We had a lovely stay and found it easy to walk to town and take some walks into the countryside without even using the car. The parking was also great though I admit it was a bit tight getting in and out of the driveway because the road next to the house is so narrow! I recommend going past the driveway and backing in. When leaving go further up the street where you can do a u-turn. All in all Hearts House was a great find- obviously carefully curated by its owners and a pleasure to visit! We hope to return.

Christmas with Friends

A super property, with everything you would need, in a great location for all the amenities in both the Town and The lakes. Very comfortable beds, beautifully decorated Christmas tree and the log fire topped the ambience. We had a wonderful stay and hope to visit again in the future.

Luxury in the Lakes

Superb holiday home right in the middle of Ambleside. This was our second stay at Hearts House (always a good sign) The property has four double bedrooms with every mod con you could wish for. The owners have made sure that all fixtures and fittings are of the very highest quality to create a warm and very cosy holiday home. My family comprised of my wife, and adult son, along with my daughter, son in law and my two grandchildren, aged 1 and 6 years. The owners could not be more helpful and responsive. Mike, Teresa, Simon and Andrea are an absolute pleasure to deal with. We were supplied with a high chair and a good quality travel cot at no extra cost to our booking. If you’re looking for space and a very modern contemporary luxury holiday home in Ambleside, with off street parking for at least two cars - Hearts House is probably one of the best holiday homes I have had the good fortune to discover. Miss it and miss out!

Fabulous property in great location

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hearts House. Such a well thought out holiday let with all the home comforts included. 5 minute walk from all amenities, so many walks, cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic house in a beautiful setting

We have just had a lovely week at a hearts House, the property is decorated and furnished to a very high standard throughout. Lots of thoughtful touches with some great books, games and magazines to use between our walks and trips around the lakes. My husband is an ultra runner and was able to train from the property easily as it was so well situated. We are regular visitors to Ambleside but must say this has been one of the best properties that we have stayed at. The layout was perfect for large family dinners and board games at the table. We used the TV only occasionally but could log in to netflix which was useful. The kitchen was well equipped although the oven even at the highest temperature seemed to take ages to cook anything. The pans also didn’t seem to be non stick which meant a lot of elbow grease being required to clean them!! However, these were minor blips to an otherwise amazing experience and we would not hesitate to stay at Hearts House again. Thank you Mike for all your brilliant communication throughout. Well done to you all for creating a great holiday home.

Perfect Stay

Heart’s House was an amazing house to stay in over the Xmas period. The house sounded great when we read the description of it but it was even better than we thought. It was super clean, well equipped, comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms and a wonderful open plan ground floor. We were two families and it was good to be all together downstairs relaxing and watching tv whist meals were prepared. The position was very quiet and yet within minutes you could be in the centre of Ambleside. Loads of shops, cafes, pubs , bakeries and a chemist in easy reach. The owners were easy to communicate with and promptly answered my questions about our stay. We were all very happy with the house and would consider returning in the future.

Lakes Holiday

We all enjoyed our stay at Hearts House. It was great having our own bedrooms and bathrooms. The views were a delight to wake up to. Large living space was ideal for mixed age group. Baby Evie was spoilt, mum and dad had relaxed birthdays with plenty of helping hands. Really special break.

Perfect!

Arriving on a beautiful sunny day late in May our first impression was WOW! Location: easy to get to and lots of parking. A short walk by way of 2 short cuts . The closest a set a stairs down into the centre of town or a path a little bit further at the end of the road. Both ways get you to the centre of some great restaurants and a small Tesco shop for basics for the kitchen. House: The house was as described and more. Spotless and stocked for most things you need when travelling. The owners have thought of everything. Roomy bedrooms, modern bath and shower rooms. A fully supplied and modern kitchen. The beds are large and comfortable after a days visiting the Lake country. The outside patio area was wonderful to sit have a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Communication: The owners took turns responding to our communications. Emails were answered quickly and answered all our questions and supplied all information we requested. Summary: We could not have made a better choice for our home location for discovering the Lakes region . The owners made sure that the 4 of us had a wonderful stay supplying information of the area and making sure we had a relaxing stay that was worry free in their home. We saw in their home that it was more than a vacation rental property, it was a special place for them. It was a wonderful place to start our days in Ambleside and the surrounding area. A must was the drive up the “Struggle” to the Kirkstone Pass Inn. This was one of many adventures in the area. From lake cruising to just sitting by the water drinking a cup of tea. We highly recommend this wonderful home for your stay in Ambleside.

Excellent half term break

This is a beautiful property in an excellent location in Ambleside. We stayed there with our 3 children (ages 11, 8, 8) and their Grandpa (late 70s) and we all had a great time. It’s a lovely house, very well appointed, and plenty of space for us to spread out. Two small things to be aware of. Firstly, the blinds in the bedrooms aren’t blackout - we had eye masks so coped with this but we’d have struggled when our kids were younger and were up with the sun! Secondly the beds are quite firm. This was fine for most of us but my partner has problems with his back on beds that are too hard, so he didn’t sleep particularly well.

A great Ambleside find!

We have stayed in a number of properties around Ambleside over the years ... this one is the best we have found so far. It ticks all the main boxes : close to town but not too close, nice views ( the vista from the veranda in the evening sunshine is spectacular) and a well presented property. The house is warm, clean and modern. We recommend Hearts House highly.
