Simeon Estate (Simeon 1931) är en mysig stenfastighet byggdes 1931 och helrenoverades nyligen, beläget i den pittoreska byn Droushia, Cypern, i en unik öregion som är rik på naturlig välbefinnande precis i utkanten av den berömda Akamas halvön, 10 km söder om Polis Chrysochous och bara 50 minuters bilresa från Paphos flygplats. Denna stenfastighet är idealisk för en familj eller fest på sex, som vill önska en avkopplande semester i privatlivet och borta från allt. Det är fullt luftkonditionerat (tillhandahålls utan kostnad) och bara några steg från de lokala bekvämligheterna och tavernaerna. Utsidan grinden öppnar in i egen trädgård genom en kort stenbelagd uppfart och in i en privat parkeringsplats, bara några meter från huvudentrén och poolterrasserna. Både huvudvilla och studio har golvvärme. LayoutSimeon Estate består av huvudvilla, som är en lägenhet med två sovrum och en studio annex med separat ingång. Huvudvilla ger möjlighet till en öppen spis och ett golvvärme för alla vintergäster (studion också, men det måste ordnas lokalt). De flesta villor tillträdesdörren går in i ett öppet utrymme med fullt utrustat kök, sittande och matsal trevligt inredda. På köket vänster och höger sida finns de två sovrummen, en mästare med eget duschrum och en tvilling, samt en familj dusch / wc. Båda sovrummen har privata balkongdörrar som öppnar in i poolen terrasser och trädgården. PoolområdeAlla poolen och vid villaens framsida är det en fin utsida sittande och matsal, under en pergola. Angränsande bilaga är en elegant studio med ett litet pentry, dubbelsäng och ett privat duschrum, smakfullt inrett. Lummiga trädgårdar med vackra blommor och cypresser omger de stenbelagda terrasserna och den fantastiska privata poolen. Den exceptionella kvaliteten och platsen för denna cozzy egendom, i kombination med den fantastiska panoramautsikten och närheten till den pittoreska byn Droushia Cypern kan bara försäkra sig för en minnesvärd och avkopplande semester.

Enjoyable Stay

The house is beautiful, clean and has everything you need. It is located in a small and quiet village, perfect for relaxing. Filoppos is a very welcoming host and he gave us great tips for restaurants and the surrounding area. We will definitely book again.

Oasis in a quaint Cypriot town

Spent the week in the villa and it exceeded all expectations. Perfect space for the five of us as the rooms are a great size each with their own bathroom. The garden and pool area were idyllic. Would recommend!

Overall very impressed and would highly recommend to anyone

Our host was very helpful, provided excellent directions to the accommodation and ensured we were happy and understood how everything in the property worked, even finding us a booking for dinner in an excellent local restaurant on our first night! The property was super clean, had excellent heating/cooling and is in a very good location. Overall very impressed and would highly recommend to anyone.

Relaxed Travellers

Went with a friend of many years.Was as stated when booked. 2 rooms in main building. Plus an Annex. Beautiful little Villa. Swimming Pool. Think maybe a converted Barn. Old worldly in Decor. Was just what the Doctor ordered. Loved it here so peaceful. It’s set in a little Village. Has Tavernas . We ate in one. Small Grocery Shop. Big Hotel short walk. If you wish to get away from the fast world book this little Villa.

Jolie maison

The house and the garden are very pretty. The owner welcomed us warmly. He offered us a cake and products for breakfast. We were cold in the main room (living room and kitchen) because there was no heating. The air conditioning units in the bedrooms were sufficient to heat the bedrooms only.

Charming retreat in Paphos Hills

Just returned from a really lovely 11 day stay at Simeon Estate with my wife, two teenage daughters , older daughter and boyfriend, As per other reviews, this place really is charming. While simple in style, it has everything you need - the outside area and pool are just lovely and the 4+2 living arrangement suited our party perfectly. Fillipos the owner was very welcoming, provided provisions and a delicious cake on arrival and was always on hand if needed. Drouseia is a quiet village, a little off the beaten track, but there are a number of local tavernas/minimarkets in easy walking distance, and the pleasant Latchi beach resort area is just 15min drive away. We have stayed in a lot of nice places, but in terms of kicking back and relaxing by the pool this has to be one of the best. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at symeon estate! everything was perfectly organised by sofronios/the Team. the house and the garden are beautiful and well looked after. we had a warm welcome by the owner of the property who brought cake and fruits, and even food for the fridge! we will definetely come back to this place! thank you very much for the hospitality.

A fantastic find in Droushia. The villa is beautiful it is very traditional with bamboo ceilings and stone walls. However, it has everything needed including heating as it was cold in the evenings. It is very private and the pool and garden area is stunning! We bought the sunflower walking guide and completed a number of local walks, a car is needed as are decent walking shoes. It is only 15 mins drive down to Polis and the beach, where there are more tourist attractions.

We felt very comfortable in the beautiful house.

We felt very comfortable in the beautiful house and the attractively landscaped garden, located in the rural and agricultural Drouseia. Our expectations were met and sometimes even exceeded. The house was very clean and, after prior consultation with the very friendly and helpful host, Mr. Zingas, was cleaned very thoroughly during our stay. The beds were very comfortable, the outside area invites you to relax. The accommodation is very conveniently located for exploring the Pafos district, both coasts of the Akamas peninsula and Polis as a supply base are easily accessible from here, but day trips to Kourion and even Troodos are (still) feasible. We would like to come back.

Drousseia is a great location with easy access to both Latchi and Pafos. The village and the surrounding area are quiet and pleasant. The cottage is perfectly located and very comfortable with all the amenities we needed for a great stay.

Excellent rural village property

We stayed in this wonderful villa for 11 nights (Sep2020) and it was amazing. There is a very private garden and large pool, the property is not over looked my the neighbours. We had all amenities you could want, including washing machine, dishwasher, air conditioning, oven, hob etc. We where left some essentials i.e bread, marg, milk, and a large bowl of fruit etc. We had the opportunity to pick fresh figs and pomegranates from the garden. The weather was lovely with temp around 30-35 degrees, Latsi is about 20-30mins drive from the Villa and there is a lovely marina with bars and restaurants, there are several tavernas in the village which do local cuisine. We would definitely recommend this villa, however I would like to keep this little gem a secret (just for us) we will definitely be going back at some point. Would like to thank Sofronios for his hospitality x

Nice November getaway

Owner met me in village (Drouseia) when I couldnt find the hours due to roadworks - very helpful. Lovely landscaped patio/pool area although pool a bit cold (it was end of Nov so not surprising!). Well equipped kitchen, just missing a tea towel! Owner provided milk, bread, meat and cheese along with a few sachets of coffee & sugar which was very useful as we didnt arrive until around 8pm on Sat and local shop was shut. Rooms clean. Local village has a small shop, several bars and tavernas - house very central. Large parking area next to house. Nice walks in area (20 min drive) - Aphrodite trail near Polis and Avakis Gorge, both excellent. End of Nov so chilly at night but no means of heating - needed to out extra covers on bed - provided in cupboard. Main block has en-suite double and twin with separate bathroom next door - no lock on this bathroom/toilet even though its the main one for the block. Only 3 of us so didnt get to see the other room (in separate block next to main).

Beautiful villa

Beautiful villa. The pictures are really true to how the outside pool area looks. Absolutely stunning. 20 mins drive from a few lovely beaches. Very quiet village. Very welcoming host, lovely touches such as milk, bread, butter, meat and a delicious cake. Would definitely revisit .

This place is AMAZING!

This place is AMAZING! You can see from the pictures how gorgeous it is but I would argue that it is even more spectacular in real life. This was a 9 day holiday trip for us and we were looking for somewhere remote, private and luxurious and this villa ticked every single box. It was important for us to 'switch off' for a bit and wanted somewhere that we could spend a lot of time and this property gave us everything we needed. The villa is gorgeous: it has everything you could need for a remote stay and the pool is simply wonderful. It was lovely to arrive to some essentials (milk, bread, etc... and even a delicious cake!) which are the special touches that really make the difference to ones stay. The villa is wonderfully clean and very well equipped and we found that we yearned for nothing. The beds are super comfortable and the aircon worked wonderfully (not that we used it much - being at a high altitude it was lovely to have the windows/doors open at night to allow the cool breeze to blow through). Wifi is also a good speed and more than enough to stream from the likes of Netflix. If you visit Cyprus and want a bit of escapism then this place is a must. We will definitely be returning when we visit again and can easily place this as one of our most memorable AirBNB experiences. Filippos is an incredible communicator and you can tell that he really wants everyone that stays at his place to be comfortable and satisfied. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

This property exceeded our expectations.

This property exceeded our expectations. 3 beds/3 bathrooms, 1 of each in lovely annex with kitchenette. Pool was a really good size with shallow to deep. Everything v clean. 15 mins by car to Latsi and Polis (large supermarket). Lara beaches our favourite. One with cafe and one without. This is the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in definitely.

Very quiet village location 15 minutes from the coast

Great location if your after a tranquil holiday , a few local taverna's offering basic food and only a short drive to polis and latchi for restaurants and bars. The property itself is basic and could probably do with some more kitchen crockery and glasses if sleeping 6 and we did have to buy some tongs to use the barbecue which we hope other guests will find useful but all teh appliances are modern and clean. Fillipos the owner is very accommodating and was kind enough to provide so milk, bread, cheese and fruit as well as a home made cake on our arrival. All in all a great property in a great part of Cyprus and will definitely return to the region.
