Chalet i Arrifana Beach / Aljezur - Portugal

Vila de Baixo är namnet på denna fantastiska Chalet på Arrifana Beach.

Arrifana Beach är en av de vackraste stränderna i Aljezur kommun. Det ligger i Algarve, sydväst om Portugal och i naturparken Costa Vicentina.

Denna stuga har varit i många år, och är fortfarande, vår familjs favorit semester plats.

För oss håller nuet de extraordinära stunder vi lever här som en familj och det var med tanke på kommande generationer i åtanke att vi beslutade att göra en större renovering (färdigställd i juni 2016) som gjorde det möjligt för stugan att ha exceptionella bekvämligheter.

En gång ett litet strandhus utan vatten, ingen el och dåliga förhållanden har det sett generationer av fiskare, surfare, poeter och sjömän växa.

Det är dessa generationer som fortsätter att upprätthålla själen och den ursprungliga väsen i Vila de Baixo:

Feel-good place with a dream view

If you stand on the beach and let your gaze wander, you will inevitably end up at the small house at the end of the cliff. You would love to sit there and watch the sunset - we sat there and looked forward to it every evening. The small house really offered everything that made the stay enjoyable, the communication was always helpful and friendly, the short vacation a gift. Highly recommended!

Breathtaking views

Beautiful little house in a beautiful location with the most stunning views, the house is well equipped, its very clean, has everything you need. Great communication with the owner, great check in with Susana, nothing bad to say at all, you wont want to leave! We will 100% be returning, thank you Joao & Susana

Paradise

Very nice sea view, quiet location. You can watch the surfers from 7am to 9pm. The apartment was very clean! and well equipped. Only the grill could have been a bit cleaner. Parking can be difficult during the day, but we always found a solution. The suitcases have to be dragged up quite a bit, but once you arrived it's totally worth it. Some restaurants can be reached via a shortcut on a narrow path.

A great stay at Arrifana beach

We really enjoyed our stay in the holiday home with our family. The location of the house is perfect. It is in a cul-de-sac and the walk to the beach only takes a few minutes. The view, as the pictures already show, is really breathtaking and contributes to a good rest. Although the house, actually a semi-detached house, is quite small, it is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. We received a very warm welcome and the contact with the host was very good. We were given lots of useful information on how to get there and the surrounding area, so we always felt that we were in good hands. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck with the parasol. It came loose from its anchorage due to rising winds on the slope, which unfortunately led to damage. The subsequent communication and claims settlement were exemplary. Many thanks for a great stay!

Wunderbare Bucht Arrifana

Die Bucht und der Strand sind sehr, sehr schön. Es waren viele Surfer im Wasser, aber es lief alles sehr entspannt ab. Das Chalet bietet von der Terrasse aus einen wunderbaren Blick über die Bucht. Das Chalet ist sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Übergabe war sehr angenehm. Manchmal sind die Parkplätze etwas wenig. Aber ein rundum sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Traumhaus

Das Haus ist einfach Nur spitze. Herrliche Aussicht auf den Strand super gelegen und sehr guter Standard in der Einrichtung. Wir haben es sehr geliebt jeden Früh beim Frühstück diesen Ausblick. Joau , Der Vermieter war sehr aufmerksam und hat sich um uns gekümmert. Vielen Dank nochmals

Wunderbare Urlaubswoche

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Urlaubswoche im Mai. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch, es ist sehr ruhig. Ein Kritikpunkt waren die kaputten und unbequemen Sitzmöglichkeiten im Außenbereich. Ansonsten hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Fantastischer Ausblick

Wir haben wunderbare 5 Tage in dieser besonderen Unterkunft verbracht und waren traurig, wieder abzureisen. Das Häuschen ist schön eingerichtet und alles war perfekt sauber. Die Kommunikation mit João war super und wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt (Danke auch an Susana, die uns einen sehr späten Check in ermöglicht hat und unglaublich freundlich war). Das Highlight der Unterkunft ist natürlich der fantastische Ausblick. Wir konnten uns nicht satt sehen und nehmen viele schöne Erinnerungen mit nach Hause. Vielen Dank!

Ferienhaus Arrifana

Wir haben die Zeit in dem kleinen aber feinen Haus mit tollem Ausblick auf die Bucht sehr genossen. Alles was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt ist vorhanden. Auch Joao war immer erreichbar und ein fürsorglicher und umsichtiger Gastgeber. Herzlichen Dank dafür! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Perfekter Urlaub

Optimale Lage der Location, direkt über der Bucht von Arrifana, trotzdem ruhig (nicht direkt an der Straße gelegen)! Die Wellen waren für die Jahreszeit okay, am Wochenende weicht man als Surfer besser an andere Strände aus, je nach Wellenhöhe kann das zwischen 10 und 17 Uhr auch an einem Wochentag sinnvoll sein (extrem viele Surfschulen)

Alles voll im Blick

Toller Urlaub. Das kleine Haus liegt hoch oben über dem Strand von Arrifana und man könnte den ganzen Tag "fernsehen". Im Februar war es noch recht kalt. Der Elektroofen war im Einsatz. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war von Anfang bis Ende perfekt. Es gab auch gute Tipps für Unternehmungen und zur Ankunft ein Set Getränke.

Wundervolle Ausicht

Wir haben den Aufenthalts in dem kleinen aber gemütlichen Haus sehr genossen. Hervorzuheben ist der wundervolle Ausblick über die Bucht von Arrifana Beach. Kleiner Nachteil ist nur der etwas beschwerliche Weg vom Parkplatz zum Haus. Aber das ist letztendlich der außergewöhnlichen Lage geschuldet. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We loved it

I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s newly renovated, spotlessly clean, has everything you might possibly need in new or spotless condition. Its at the top of one of the front rows of converted fisherman cottages, which is an ideal location as it’s very private, has amazing views, gets loads of sun and is still just a tiny stroll to the beach. Communication with Joao was excellent too which made it all the nicer.

Amazing location but beware, listing not accurate.

Unfortunately we were disappointed with this property. I was planning on not writing a review, I gave the owner the chance to update the listing so future guests would have the complete picture before arriving. The owner hasn't done this so now I feel the need to inform people myself. The owner seems to be a great guy and the communication was perfect. We even received a partial refund because of our complaints. I don't understand why he hasn't updated this listing.... The location is really stunning, the view will never get old. But this little house is right next to another house. You share the terrace, the larger part with the roof over it (see pictures) is not yours. So depending on your luck you might end up with young surfers right next to you. That means hearing their loud music and not enjoying a quiet relaxing vacation.... The houses share walls so you also hear a lot when you are inside. As you would expect from the photos the inside is really tiny but even with that knowledge we were disappointed again. The bed is extremely small and uncomfortable, it is 1.4m by 1.9m. the shower head is at 1.85m and you can't adjust it. So with all of this in mind please make the right decision for you. If you don't mind having really close neighbors and are under 1.85m tall this might be the dream place for you. The house was very clean and the location is unbelievably great.
