Wonderful property!

We had a fantastic week in Cascais. The house was just lovely and perfect for us. It was everything we had hoped for. Communication with Pedro was excellent, everything was well stocked, the pool was fantastic, and location was wonderful. Thank you so much for the fantastic stay!

Wonderful house with fantastic amenities and hosts

This is a great house for a group. We were a multi generational family and there is a separate annexe where the grandparents could go to get some piece and quiet. From the moment I made the booking Pedro, the owner, reached out and was super helpful with tips and recommendations of great local places to eat. The house is really well equipped and the terrace area is lovely and shaded so perfect for dining or enjoying a drink outside. Our kids loved the pool. We found the location was great and just a short walk into Cascais with some local shops and eateries even closer. We hope to be back again soon as we are already missing it.

Wonderful stay. Pedro and Maria are perfect hosts and extremely helpful. Location is great - 10 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go. Lovely pool and house.

Estadia de Freguesia do Alcabideche

Ficamos hospedados por uma semana na propriedade. Estava tudo impecável. Os proprietários são muito simpáticos, hospitaleiros e ajudaram-nos em tudo. A casa e’ muito confortável e limpíssima. A casa fica perto do centro de Cascais e de algumas praias e e’ muito Conveniente. A área da piscina e do terraco e’ muito bonita e agradável. Um local para retornarmos em breve. Obrigada.

Friendly owners and very comfortable house

Pedro and Maria Joao were really attentive and helpful. Walking distance to the center of Cascais (not a short walk though).

Excellent house for multi-generational group

Our party of 10, aged 5-74, had a delightful week in this house in July. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is particularly well equipped, with every appliance one could want and plenty of dishes and cutlery. The pool is great for kids though there is very little shallow space beyond the steps. Off street parking for 2 cars is a plus. We enjoyed barbecued meals in the dedicated area near the outdoor grill, as well as formal meals in the dining room and breakfasts in the kitchen. The 2 annex rooms (close to but unconnected to the main house) provide privacy for their occupants but are perhaps too isolated for young children if they need parents adjoining. The owners were also very helpful in introducing us to the house, recommending good restaurants and arranging maid service. All in all, we would highly recommend this property.

Excellent property and hosts

Beautiful house, we had 3 generations and friends staying and there was plenty of room for us all. The house was really well equipped with everything we needed. The outside area and pool were lovely and picking the limes from the tree oerfect for a g&t. There is some traffic noise but this certainly didn’t detract from our stay and wasn’t a problem for us. The house is a 15 minute walk from town and there is a Lidl close by. Pedro and Maria were extremely kind and helpful hosts and definitely deserve a 5* review

Wonderful hosts and wonderful home!

We had a fantastic stay in Cascais! The house is so comfortable and well appointed. The hosts thought of everything to make us feel comfortable. The outdoor patio with its shaded vine leaves was a favorite gathering spot as was the generously sized kitchen. The kids had a blast in the pool. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Très belle maison mais...

Maison exceptionnelle, hyper bien entretenue, facilement circulable pour 10 personnes, matériel de cuisine très largement suffisant et cuisine très bien. Plein de pièces différentes où chacun peut un peu faire sa vie. Conformes aux photos. Très bonne communication avec le propriétaire, très réactif. Une telle maison est pourtant très mal située, car en bordure d’une avenue hyper passante nuit et jour. Difficile de profiter de l’extérieur avec ce bruit qui ne cesse pas. Elle est située à 15 minutes à pieds du centre ville, mais marcher en bordure de cette avenue est lassante. Pour nous, cela a été un très gros point noir malgré les prestations de la maison. Deuxième point négatif : le jour du départ, la venue des propriétaires sans pour autant avoir prévenu au préalable, a été un choc pour notre groupe qui etions en train de déjeuner (entrer dans la maison sans sonner, cela ne se fait pas même si vous êtes propriétaires). Nous avions convenu d’une heure précise avec le propriétaire qui n’a pas été respectée. Nous avons dû faire nos bagages à toute vitesse et quitter la maison. Nous sommes je pense des personnes respectueuses, et je n’ai pas apprécié cette intrusion. La moindre des choses aurait été de prévenir avant de venir. Et finir par me dire que 3 serviettes de douche ont disparu et que cela va être ponctionné sur ma caution alors qu’il n’y a eu aucun état des lieux de fait....je n’ai pas compris. Sur ce, le propriétaire a été sympa de nous déposer à l’aéroport, car nous avions beaucoup d’affaires. 3 étoiles seulement pour le bruit...

Beautifully furnished well laid out and maintained villa. Pedro and Maria were helpful and charming

My family really enjoyed our stay in Pedro and Maria's beautiful villa. The villa is beautifully furnished and has all modern conveniences. The swimming pool is nicely fenced off which suited us because there were two small children in the party. We had Wifi and TV access which was great as the World Cup was on. (We supported Portugal of course). We were convenient to Cascais and its restaurants and although we hired cars this was not necessary. Sintra is just a short journey away by car or bus and is well worth a visit. Pedro and Maria were most welcoming and helpful and made some recommendations one of which was to visit a beautiful beach up the coast. We did this and the beach was fabulous. Some of the party went hiking and others enjoyed daily runs by the sea. Those who had not already visited Lisbon took the train in (approx 40 mins and costs just a few euro) and spent the day there. Cascais Shopping Centre is nearby for those into retail therapy. Another feature of the villa was the fruit garden with its orange, lemon, apple, pear and apricot trees. Our small granddaughter really enjoyed squeezing the fresh oranges for breakfast. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen and had most of our meals outside on the nicely cool and well shaded terrace. We highly recommend this beautiful property and say 'Thank You' again to Pedro and Maria who were welcoming and helpful, respected our privacy and whom we knew were there if we needed anything. We were really sorry we hadn't booked to stay for another week. Mary and Francis Sheridan.

Splendide Maison

Un séjour très agréable et un accueil chaleureux. Une maison recommandée pour une famille nombreuse ou un groupe d'amis. Très belle maison avec tout à disposition et très proche du centre. Je vous la recommande
