Om boendet

Charmig lägenhet, helt renoverad i ett gammalt fiskarhus typiskt för gamla Nice, med en sällsynt fri utsikt över en liten privat trädgård nedanför den berömda slottskullen. En hemlig, lugn, blomsterfylld gränd leder till terrasserna på de många caféerna och restaurangerna på torget med blomstermarknaden.
Köket är fullt utrustat med diskmaskin, tvättmaskin, WiFi internetanslutning, kabel-TV, telefon och iPod dockningsstation.
Njut av ljudet av fåglar som sjunger i citronträden från de två fönstren med utsikt över den privata trädgården, eller det mjuka skenet från de gamla fönsterluckorna i den svala gamla stan, medan mindre än tre minuters promenad bort kommer du att vara vänd mot havet och dess berömda Baie des Anges, på Nice strand där vattnet är turkos och kristallklart.
Lägenheten har totalrenoverats och bevarat de arkitektoniska dragen i gamla Nice, med gamla klinkergolv, bjälkar, persienner och klädstreck i fasaden.
Användningen av material som blekt eller vitkalkat trä, stenar på badrumsgolvet, växtmattor och drivved skapar en charmig semesteratmosfär, i samma anda som en chic stuga vid havet.
Stor omsorg har lagts på att säkerställa att köket är funktionellt, med ett komplett utbud av elektriska apparater i ett modernt köksområde (central ö, höga pallar, matbord), i perfekt kontrast till den avslappnade atmosfären i lägenheten.
Duschrummet har några charmiga detaljer, som duschkabinen och de resolut moderna glaspanelerna som släpper in trädgårdens ljus och färger i duschområdet.
De högkvalitativa modulära sängkläderna består av två separata 90x200 cm enkelsängar, som tillsammans bildar en king size-säng. Kuddarna är ergonomiska och allergivänliga. Lakan och handdukar ingår.
Tillgång till lägenheten är tillgänglig för resenärer 24/7 via en nyckelbox. Koden kommer att skickas till resenärerna några dagar före ankomst, tillsammans med alla instruktioner för att enkelt hitta till lägenheten.

Séjour au calme dans la vieille ville de Nice

L'appartement est extrêmement bien décoré et bien conçu. Il est au coeur de la magnifique ville de Nice, riche d'un patrimoine culturel,nombreux musées et églises et bien sûr de paysages enchanteurs. Notre hôte ,Joel , est très réactif à nos demandes .Si nous revenons à Nice , c'est ici que nous nous arrêterons sans hésitation.

Very nice cozy place close to restaurants, beach, Flea market. It has everything you need to stay, sleep, and if you prefer to cook a meal. The furniture a little bit outdated and very basic (mostly the Ikea items). Be aware of narrow steep stairs to this second floor appartement. Overall, we had a very nice stay in this place and would stay again.

L’appartement est situé en plein cœur du secteur touristique de la vieille ville de Nice. L’escalier pour y monter est escarpé et la lumière était en panne pendant notre séjour ce qui a rendu l’accès difficile. L’appartement est somme toute bien décoré mais la salle de bain mérite d’être retapée de même que le plancher qui compte de nombreuses tuiles brisées. On a tout de même fait un séjour agréable.

Avis mitigé

Au coeur de la vielle ville, quartier très touristique. Les hôtes sont à l'écoute et répondent rapidement. L'appartement est un peu sombre, le lit bien grand et confortable. Nous avons fait quelques suggestions pour mieux équiper la cuisine et faire sécher le linge. Suite à un incident de propreté à notre entrée, l'hôte nous a offert une compensation bien appréciée.

Close to everything

The apartment has an authentic French feel. Quite roomy and private. But most of all close to everything. The promenade is just a few minutes away as are restaurants and other services if you want to cook with the great facilities in the apartment. The best flee market in southern France is around the corner too, on Mondays. Stay as long as you can. Altogether a wonderful stay. Thanks Joel

Tolle ruhige, kleine Wohnung zu Zweit.

Sehr schöne Wohnung! Tolle, ruhige Lage. Bäcker, Restaurants, Lebensmittel sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Große Fenster fast wie eine Terrasse im Grünen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Outstanding Location

The apartment is situated on a narrow 'ruelle', elevated from the main part of the old town. And this is why it is perfect; the street is so narrow and so steep that there are no vehicles of any kind passing by, nor any commerce. It is a little oasis, perfectly quiet. A hundred metres away though and you have an outstanding range of shops, bars, restaurants, cafes, and of course the Promenade des Anglais, probably less than five minutes away, along with the Marche aux Fleurs. The flat is perfect for a solo traveller or a couple, the bed is huge. Everything you would need is there in terms of cooking facilities, although you need a little experience perhaps in using an induction hob! [It's fine, it was just new to me!] There's a lovely view of a little garden opposite and it's great to sit and have a drink by the open window. I genuinely managed to chill out here, and all of the many attractions are close at hand. Perfect.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cette belle ville de Nice. La location était charmante. Un vrai petit nid. La ruelle est très calme et dès que l on sort, on se retrouve directement dans le vieux Nice. Commerces et bars à proximité. La plage est à 10 minutes à pied. Merci à Laurent et Joël pour leur sympathie. Nous reviendrons sûrement pour nous ressourcer.

Charmantes Appartement; beste Lage; gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis.

Das Appartement in der Altstadt von Nizza ist genau wie beschrieben, es hat alles was man braucht -bis auf WiFi was nur ab und zu funktionierte (Signal zu schwach). Auch ist die Treppe zum Appartement sehr steil. Es war sauber; die Instruktionen sind in franzoesisch aber die Verbindung mit dem Besitzer und seinem Assistenten welche beide englisch sprechen, ist gut. Das Appartement ist "wie zu Hause". Kann es nur empfehlen.

The apartment offers a wide lounge with a comfortable sofa and a sleeping-room separated by an original wooden handled sliding partition.
The lounge is equipped of one HD television with French and international channels, a DVD player, an IPod station, and a telephone line.
The kitchen
The open-plan kitchen on the living area is equipped with a dishwasher, a washing machine, a cooktop vitreous ceramic, a mixed micro-wave oven, a refrigerator with freezer, an extractor fan. At your disposal, coffee-maker, kettle and all the necessity to cook and dare to experiment the art of cooking a la Nicoise.
You will be able to take the meals on the stools of the galley bar or sat at table near the window overlooking the private garden below.
The feature of the kitchen has been looked after with an equipment of complete household electrical appliances in a space cook who aims to be very modern and in contrast with the relaxed atmosphere of the apartment.
