Detta är en stor och bekväm lägenhet med fantastisk utsikt och ett mycket bekvämt lugnt läge nära centrum. Det är perfekt för en familj eller vänner för en avslappnad paus eller utforska Skottlands högländer.

Den vackra Cow Hill Circuit som ger tillgång direkt till Glen Nevis är en tio minuters promenad bort. Fort William är ett populärt centrum för klättring, promenader, rusling, kanot, mountainbike, skidåkning, orientering och andra utomhusaktiviteter. Det finns också enkel tillgång till vackra promenader och cykelmöjligheter.

Denna vackra och historiska, listade lägenhet ligger idealiskt inom fem minuters promenad från motorvägen och ligger mindre än femton minuters promenad från järnvägsstationen. Lägenheten erbjuder en härlig utsikt över Loch Linnhe och njuter av ett lugnt, upphöjd läge.

Lägenheten är uppdelad över nivåer 2 och 3 i en tre våningar C 19: e radhus. Det har sin egen privata ingång med en trappa.

Great location to explore the Highlands

While the property shows its age here and there we nonetheless very mich enjoyed our stay in a comfortable holiday "home" and would not hesitate to book it again.

A flat within walking distance of Fort William town centre

Immaculately clean flat, mattresses very comfortable. Style of some beds e.g. with a footboard - challenging for tall people over 6 foot. Kitchen well equipped. Beautiful period building, old fashioned decor. No walk in shower cabinet, instead a hose from the bath tap. There was a leak from the shower/bath while we were there, which we reported immediately and the host promptly arranged for a plumber to attend who confirmed the tiled surround was leaking. Great location for walking into Fort William town centre. Beautiful view.

Great family apartment

Ambrose’s place was a perfect place to spend a few days site seeing in amazing Scotland. The beds were very comfortable, and it was in a great location to walk to the Fort William restaurants and shops.

Fort William apartment

The property had a wonderfully spacious sitting room and kitchen. The sitting room had very comfortable sofas, and a great view across the lake. The kitchen was well equipped and also had a nice large dining table and chairs. The beds were all comfortable. It was only a ten minute walk to the town centre with several restaurants and take aways to choose from. The property had an old world charm and we were all sad to leave.

Everything you need, in a perfect location, with a WOW view.

The house is fully equipped, making staying with children SO much easier. The fridge and freezer are separates and counter-height, providing loads of space. In a change from the listing, it now has 3 double-bed rooms, rather than 2 and a sofa bed, though this didn't affect us at all. The hall is decorated with old photos of Fort William, which themselves are a delight to stop and stare at, especially once you've explored the town. The photo from the living room window doesn't do the view justice. Try the view from the front bedroom. That's one you could happily wake up to every morning. The location is fantastic. All of Fort William is within walking distance. Within a couple of minutes we were able to get to the beach (stony not sandy, just the way we like it), onto the Souter's Lass for a cruise on the loch, or into Wetherspoons's for dinner. It's only a few minutes further for Tesco, Morrisons and the railway station. The car got to have a few days rest. If I'm ever back in the area for a few days, I'll definitely be checking for availability here first.

Nice stay

Goed appartement met alles erin wat je nodig hebt. Uitzicht over het meer. Enige minpuntje was dat de bedden iets te kort waren ( ben zelf 1.86) desalniettemin een aanrader.

Home away from home

This property exceeded our expectations. Spacious but warm and cosy. Excellent location (we travelled by train and got about easily on public transport). We didn't want to leave - I'd book this place again in a heartbeat!

Super und zentrumsnahe Wohnung mit Parkplatz.

Wohnung gross und komfortabel. Ambrose hat sich bei Fragen gleich darum gekümmert und geantwortet.Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht.

A beautiful apartment, great views and a perfect BASE for exploring and walking the Highlands

We had a fantastic week in Fort William and in this lovely apartment. It is well equipped with everything you need when self-catering is your choice. Ambrose was lovely and very helpful whenever needed. It was a perfekt stay and a wonderful week. We will be back.

I am a retired professional with a love of the Scottish Hills. My wife and I enjoy visiting and maintaining this lovely historic apartment. Interests music, photography, reading, walking and travelling. The walking is getting more restricted, sadly, but no less enjoyable.
