Denna stuga finns i mitten av våren till mitten av hösten och ligger på den östra sidan av Pickerel Lake, South Dakotas främsta issjö, med 3 sovrum (2 i huvudstugan och våningssidan vid sjön) och 2 badrum (huvudstuga) . Stugan och våningsshuset ombyggdes 2009 och stugan nyinreddes 2018. Huvudstugan har alla bekvämligheter i hemmet inklusive central luft och värme, tillsammans med en underbar tresäsong, avskärmad veranda med utsikt över sjön. Den 14 "x 20" våningssängen är luftkonditionerad och sitter på stranden vid vattnet. Våningshuset används som ett sovrum, med en liten sittgrupp och sovsal, och har ett stort takterrass för ytterligare en fantastisk sjöutsikt. Denna fantastiska egendom har vacker solnedgångsutsikt som kan ses från huvudstugan och våningssängen. Du hittar fantastiskt fiske på Pickerel och de omgivande sjöarna.

Extremely family friendly

The property was beyond fantastic for my family and extended family to stay during our week long stay. The space is new and well kept and really feels like home away from home. The kitchen has everything you could ever need and more. Tami stocked all of the bathrooms with the supplies needed during our stay which was very helpful. The bedrooms were also very comfortable and the blackout shades made for a great slumber. The outdoor spaces are perfect for Pickerel Lake. The outdoor kitchen was much used during our stay as well as the screened in porch. I can’t recommend this property enough for families looking for a well rested reprieve.

Wonderful property!!

This property was just so much better than I had even anticipated. The house was extremely cozy and the boathouse and patio above the boathouse were perfect with an incredible view. I also really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was with dishes, spices, condiments, etc. Will definitely book this location again!!

Another Great Week on Pickerel Lake!

The say was wonderful. The cabin is cozy and has spectacular views. Peaceful porch and deck area to watch the sunsets and simply enjoy the lake. The beach area is small but big enough to allow the kids to play. Close to the state park and boat ramp. The cabin has all the items we needed and was just right!

Nice location, great place and wonderful view!

Great communication with the owners throughout. The cabin and bunkhouse was nicely furnished and well kept. Highly recommend and hope to rent again in the future. Location worked out great for a week with family and relatives on Pickerel Lake.

Very nice and clean

The property was awesome. It was very clean and had all the essentials you need. The patio over the lake was such a beautiful view. The beach was so nice for the grandkids to play. The owners were very nice. It was everything we wanted.

Beautiful Sunsets! Family friendly!

Absolutely loved this location. Very clean with easy access. The beach was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the water. Our favorite was the lookout deck on top of the bunk house!

Getaway Perfection

What a perfect getaway! The cabin is well equipped and so clean, making it easy to take care of so you can join in the fun! We enjoyed the screen porch, loved the rooftop patio, and sat but a lakeside fire! The beach area was perfect for the kids for swimming and taking their kayaks for a cruise. Fishing from the dock was rewarded by lots of small fish to catch and release! Shade trees gave us an escape from the sun when needed and the bunkhouse was a bonus. Easily the best getaway ever!

Clean and comfortable with good hosts

We stayed at this cabin as a base for fishing the lakes in the area. There is a lake access with a nice fish cleaning station just down the road. Room to park 2 boats and plug them in at the cabin along with one extra truck.

Making memories

What a wonderful place to stay. Everything you might need provided for you. Tranquil mornings with a lake view to beautiful sunsets. It has a great cabin and bunkhouse where the teen boys slept. Outdoor deck over the bunk house with a gas fireplace is where our family enjoyed every evening. Five days and the TV was never turned on. If you're searching for a place, THIS IS IT! Thanks for a great time!

Incredible sunsets.

We have rented here for multiple years. Owners have been very accommodating. The property Is kept up Very well and owners have made everything very inviting. We love relaxing on top of the bunk house and watching the sunset. Beautiful. We have never met owners in person but have communicated with them via phone calls and electronically. They are very friendly and pleasant people. My family has made terrific memories at this cabin and plan on continuing in years to come. Highly recommend this property.

Wonderful, Quiet Retreat

We had a great time on the lake and at the property. The cabin is nicely renovated. It has great views of the lake. The area around the cabin is quiet and wooded. We plan to return again.

Great Family Getaway!

Our family had a wonderful time at this lake cabin. The place was clean. The kitchen was well stocked and roomy. The living area was spacious for family to hang out. The bunkhouse was a nice additional space for sleeping and hanging out for our adult sons. The patio has an awesome view of the lake and sunset. The yard has plenty of space to play outside games. Our grandkids enjoyed playing in the sand and swimming in lake. Fishing was slow during this week. Working with the property manager, Tami, went smoothly. Thank you for letting us enjoy your lake home!

A gem of a spot

We had a lovely time is clean and well appointed cabin on Pickerel Lake! It is very well appointed and stocked full of many of the things you will need to have a good vacation. If you have a boat the parking could be a little tight and you might need to locate your boat elsewhere if you have a few cars. I think this would be a great vacation spot for a family. I’d highly recommend it!

Family fishing fun

Great place to stay with kids- so much to do right there on lake pickerel. Fishing wasn't great on this trip, but we still had a lot of fun relaxing in this beautiful location. Owners keep the cabin well stocked, and there's great space for a people to relax Inside and outside.

Worth every penny...

We had been to Pickerel Lake a few times before and knew the area well. Past accommodations did not suit us well. We booked this property, and everything from initial contact through check out went very well. This place is clean, well kept, good location, and sleeping in the bunkhouse is a bonus if you want to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Great property and great owners. Will stay here again on future trips!

Beautiful sunsets

This was our third year staying on the property and second year under new ownership. The property description is very accurate. If anything, the description doesn't do it enough justice. The actual square footage might be on the small side but there are plenty of rooms for kids and parents to escape too when they want some quiet time. The bunk house is a wonderful place for extra room and sleeping. And the view from the top of the bunkhouse is second to none as it faces the west. Beautiful sunsets. Our favorite thing to do is sitting on top of the bunkhouse with propane fire and watching the sunset or star gazing. We have never formally met the owners but have communicated electronically. Very pleasant people and very accommodating. We are a family of five who loves our time at this rental. And the Glacial Lakes region of NE SD is a nice place to visit. Not much for traffic and a great place to relax. We are hopeful to rent this property again in 2020.

Awesome stay!

Our family spent two weeks on Pickerel Lake and loved it! Our cabin was very clean! The kitchen was well stocked with an outdoor grill as a bonus. We loved the sitting area above the bunk house! Watching fireworks from there was awesome! Towels and linens were very nice quality! Owners were quick to answer any questions we had as well....We’d definitely stay in this cabin again!
