Denna fristående ladugård konvertering, belägen i hjärtat av North Devon, sover 4 i 2 sovrum; en super king dubbelsäng och pyramid våningssäng. Ladan har golvvärme levereras från miljövänlig pellets biomassa uppvärmning, rymligt badrum och öppen planlösning vardagsrum / middag / kök.

Detta söderläge lada ser ut över prydnads trädgården från sin egen terrass, och ligger i anslutning till den stora 1,500m² muromgärdad trädgård.

Lador på High Park byggdes i början av 1900-talet, strax efter huvudbyggnaden byggdes i mitten av 1840-talet.

Det erbjuder enkel tillgång till stränder, hedar, kustnära vägen promenader, cykelvägar, golfbanor, trädgårds trädgårdar, barnvänlig roliga parker, och många andra traditionella utomhus och inomhus fritidsaktiviteter för dem som söker en riktigt avkopplande, men aktiv, bryta sig loss från stressiga dag till dag liv.

Huset ligger med 14 tunnland av privat mark med säker åtkomst via elektriska grindar. Inom grunderna finns en tillgänglig stor naturlig sjö med fantastisk vegetation, över 200 fiskar och ett båthus.

Excellent location. Clean and well maintained. Lovely gardens and lake area to walk a dog.

Lovely, well maintained collection of holiday accommodation. Spacious and beautifully clean. Very dog friendly. Not totally enclosed garden areas but still very safe. Swimming pool is wonderful.

A beautiful, relaxing place to stay, with facilities nearby

Our 3rd visit to High Barns, buy our 1st in Sheldon. Suits 3 adults or 2 adults & 2 kids. Love it here, so quiet & relaxing, with feature hosts supplying all you need & a welcome cream tea too. Will definitely be back as love the indoor pool & hot tub too.

Not the best , not the worst.

Nice location , and swimming pool on site but that’s about it . For the price we paid we did expect a lot more. Anyway I am not saying it’s terrible it’s just not worth it . The owners were nice tho.

What a gem

We had a fantastic 6 days at Sheldon Barn, the owners were very welcoming and hospitable. Lots of lovely touches which always seem to let down many rental properties like: Well equipped kitchen Very sharp knives Welcome pack Air conditioning in the bedrooms Our overall impression was that the owners have an exceptional eye for detail and this drives the difference at High Park Barns, we will definitely be back.

Very nice

Very nice location and amenities. Surrounding area and beaches also excellent, our favourite being Westward Ho! The dairy next door for milkshakes was always our first point before heading off for a walk along the beach. The only slight thing I would have to say was some areas of the accommodation needed a little more of a thorough clean, especially when we we collecting toddler toys from under bed TV cabinets. Outstanding though in all other respects.

Wonderful stay at Sheldon Cottage

Beautiful property in a gorgeous location. Anne-Louise is a great host, the barn was stocked with everything we could possibly have needed and the beds were so comfortable. There was lots of space for us to relax in. The pool was fabulous, it was lovely to have it to ourselves for a bit each day. We loved exploring the lake and the trampoline was a bonus! It felt very peaceful, despite every other property being occupied, and in a brilliant location for beaches / shops / activities.

Great location

Really lovely well appointed accommodation. Great pool and really well organised with useful instructions every where . Especially enjoyed the local milk in the fridge ! Location is great for kids - shops are 5 minutes away - I think the. It’s time we spent in the car was 10 minutes to Appledor -Westwood Ho! Is on the door step as is the big sheep

Christmas 2022 - Sheldon Barn

This was a perfect stay for our Christmas 2022. The instructions leading up to check-in were spot on. The owners were friendly and very helpful. It is clear that as it is a family run business there is a real personal touch to their service which makes all the difference. The site itself was beautiful, well kept to a very high standard and very quiet. It is also a perfect base and we visited Westward Ho and Clovelly during our stay. Atlantic Village Outlet shopping centre is also only a 2 minute drive away, which our Daughters loved. The highlight has to be the pool and hot tub facilities which can be used 24 hours on a timetabled system so you can always have the pool to yourself with your family. Would highly recommend this for a stay.

Autumn at Sheldon Barn

A very comfortable cottage with a great pool. There are lots of lovely places to visit nearby and amazing coastal paths to explore. We had a most relaxing stay, helped by lots of sunshine and beautiful Autumn colours.

First class accommodation

The pool and jacuzzi have designated times for every barn as well as free slots for first come first served. Biomass heating ensures good heat at all times. Impressive list of barn facilities. Retail Park nearby includes Asda and various well known takeaways.

Excellent Stay

This is our second stay here and will be back. Cannot fault this place at all. Very clear instructions on how to get here and check in. Very thoughtful and helpful hosts. Welcome cream tea on arrival. Bottle of milk waiting for you from local farm. Barn spotlessly clean and sofa and beds most comfortable, has dishwasher, washing machine, ironing board and iron. Swimming pool and jacuzzi a real asset and very well looked after. I cannot recommend High Park Barns enough. Terrific hosts.

Exceeded expectations

What can I say? We stayed in the Sheldon Barn and everything exceeded our expectations. From the very warm welcome received, the comfort of the barn, all the personal touches that were waiting for us on our arrival were much more than we could have expected. Fabulous Property and Overall Experience

Our stay was wonderful, so much so that we stayed an extra night! Everything was catered for, cream tea was fabulous, cleanliness of the property and facilities was excellent, communication with the owners was easy and very helpful. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus and the individual timings for the use of them made it feel safer. All in all, a high quality stay. We will be back.

Sheldon Barn

The weather for the Feb half term was appalling, the pool was the saving grace. Our children had such a good time and have gained such confidence in the water. The property is exceptional and the owners were friendly and helpful, we will definitely come again.
