Villa Equador is a splendid contemporary villa set in picture-worthy scenery. Located in a quiet neighborhood, 10 minutes from Cascais, this gorgeous property accommodates up to 10 guests, with its sights on bringing quality time to the holidaymakers.
The interior with a kitchen, living, and dining room in an open concept, not only showcases a spacious 100 sqm area but also a space to gaze at the exterior and its beautiful surroundings, made possible by its large windows. A games room with a snooker table, football table, and lounge area make a wonderful addition to this holiday home.
The exterior with a large infinity pool 12 m x 5 m extending to a mesmerizing sea view, offers a great excuse not to stay indoors. A manicured garden with a large koi fish pond and original artwork, an outdoor dining area, and a barbecue come to complete this divine property.

Artwork by renowned world-class artists who present their work at museums like the Met in New York or Victoria & Albert Museum in London are present in this home.
All furniture was custom-made by artisans to fit the Villa design.

Villa Equador, an amazing place to stay with beatiful surroundings

Amazing views over Cascais and seaside

Amazing views over Cascais and seaside. Hiking trails are amazing and varying from easy to extreme. Villa definitely has Wow effect, great office space for working and heated pool great plus. Own car needed as shops and restaurants far away.

Breathtaking views

Breathtaking views. The Villa is in a beautiful position overlooking Guincho beach, it’s so hard to capture how breath taking the view is. The pool is large and perfect for us who all love to swim lengths morning and early evening. The Villa is incredibly spacious and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed cooking here. There is a full sized snooker table which we enjoyed on many an evening. In addition the owner offers many other activities which can be arranged from electric bikes to private yoga sessions. 15/09/24

GREAT view and pool

Villa Equador is a stunning property with an awesome view of Guincho beach and the Cascais area Western coastline. The house is very modernistic and spacious. The best features are: (1) the heated pool (we strongly recommend paying extra to heat it like we did and the water temperature was around 90 degrees), (2) the amazing view of the ocean and beach and (3) the very open manner in which the house is built is super nice. It would greatly help the guest experience if: (1) some comfortable furniture (chairs and/or sofas) were added in the living area, the upstairs bedroom (at least one chair there) and the downstairs game type room. The living area sofas are almost impossible for older adults or ones with knee problems to get up from and are not comfortable to sit in, (2) add an umbrella or two to the outside pool deck, (3) have a handrail installed for the bottom 6 steps from the study to the entry way, (4) a window screed or shade for the North windows in the master bedroom upstairs as the construction workers directly across the street can see directly into that bathroom and, when the house across the street is finished, then those neighbors will be able to directly see into that bathroom and (5) ants were a problem for us in both the study and the kitchen so we had to spray them and clean up those areas two or 3 times a day yet they kept coming back. This should be addressed ASAP. Lastly, I'm not sure you really need to have a "no shoes" policy indoors - maybe just ask the guests to wear non leather sole shoes and be very careful!! We purchased and left for future renters a pool umbrella, pool toys and floats and quite a bit of food. All in all, the plus points of the house far outway the bad and we think future guests will enjoy it very much.

Super propriété....juste un regret les toilettes ( un.nouveau concept ??.) sans portes dans les chambres-un peu compliqué pour une lune de miel par exemple ou alors faut installer une sono dans les WC et mettre Hendrix à Woodstock 😂

Moderne Villa mit sagenhaftem Blick

Wir haben eine Woche in der Villa verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die mobiliare Einrichtung war insgesamt eher karg und einfach, wobei wir das nicht als störend empfunden haben. Es fehlten jedoch teilweise Haken an den Wänden, Nachttische gab es keine, die Stühle waren teilweise wirklich kaputt. Sicherlich verbesserungsbedürftig. Der Pool ist fantastisch und das Panorama unbeschreiblich schön! Sehr ruhige Gegend, perfekt zum Entspannen. Ganz großes Lob geht an Paulo, der als Verwalter stets freundlich und hilfsbereit war. Insgesamt ein gelungener Urlaub.

Traumhafte Lage zum Wohlfühlen

Diese Luxusvilla ist auf Grund der Lage eine absolute Top Adresse. Kleine Abzüge in der B Note gibt es für die Ausstattung. Die wunderschönen Designer Ledersessel im Esszimmer waren allesamt kaputt. Sehr schade. Im Badezimmer oben läuft das Wasser nicht ab. Zudem musste man sehr lange das Wasser laufen lassen um es heiß zu bekommen. Im unteren Stockwerk könnte eine Tür nicht geschlossen werden. Jeder Einbrecher freut sich. Trotzdem haben wir die Zeit sehr genossen.

Veel gebreken

Het huis is op zich prachtig en het uitzicht fenomenaal. Enkel het huis zelf is in slechte staat. Sommige ramen kunnen niet open omdat de hendel is afgebroken, het warme water is nooit echt warm, stoelen vallen uit elkaar, sommige delen zijn niet goed gepoetst, het zwembad wordt niet onderhouden, de barbecue is niet bruikbaar. Er werd wel gezegd dat alles zou hersteld worden dus hopelijk gebeurt dat dan ook... want de ligging is fenomenaal

Cascais and Sintra (patrimony of UNESCO) offer some of the best seaside bathing conditions and water-sports in Portugal, depending on the kind of beach you choose. A higher or lower exposure to the Atlantic Ocean means more or less crowded beaches and different water sports. We recommend the coast along Estoril for sheltered beaches and from Cascais/Guincho until Praia das Maçãs for wilder conditions. Inside Quinta da Marinha resort you have access to an 18-hole championship golf course (by Robert Trent Jones) and just beside you have the Oitavos golf course (by Arthur Hills), an 18-hole course included in the top 100 courses in the world. In September 2011 Oitavos Dunes jumped 20 places up the list to be considered the 68th best course in the world and the second best in mainland Europe. Inside the resort, you have also 10 tennis courts (two synthetic grass & eight in clay), 3 padel courts, 3 squash/racketball courts, sauna, gym, indoor swimming pool, restaurants and the Marinha Equestrian Centre, considered one of the largest and most well-equipped of the Iberian Peninsula.
