Las Casitas är ett vackert renoverat och rymliga Cortijo ligger i en by, inbäddat i bergen nära Almeria. Den här fastigheten ligger i privata skäl och har många traditionella funktioner. Ursprungliga och restaurerade funktioner inkluderar traditionella fönsterluckor, skarpa vita väggar, lokala kakel, strålade & caned tak, tillverkade med espartogräs och bambu från den närliggande flodbädden. Denna rymliga Andalacian gömställe har fem sovrum (tre dubbelrum, två tvåbäddsrum), tillmötesgående tio personer bekvämt med 4 duschar och fläktar i varje rum för de varma sommarnätter. Även om huset har en förtrollande traditionell känsla, har det också massor av moderna bekvämligheter för att göra din vistelse enkel och avkopplande.

Utanför Las Casitas erbjuder en stor terrass med privat uppvärmd pool, som i tomt med olivträd, citronträd, mandelträd och spricker med färgglada blommor större delen av året. Terrassen har utsikt över hisnande utsikt över vild, andalusiska landsbygden där du kan blicka ut över medan du njuter av lugn och ro. Det finns en stor klimat i denna del av Spanien under större delen av året. Med den uppvärmda poolen kan du göra det mesta av det soliga vädret från april ända fram till oktober, även matlagning & äta utomhus med inbyggd grill och bärbara paella ring.

Inom räckhåll hittar du fantastiska stränder och marknader, läcker mat och vin, fantastiska traditionella hantverk, karga landskap, fascinerande djurliv, sport samt fantastiska utflykter. Andalusien är en vacker del av Spanien med fantastiska landskap och rika kultur. Lokala städer och byarna som Nijar (ovan), Mojacar Pueblo, Bedar & Sorbas erbjuda en verklig smak av andalusiska liv och historia.

Den närliggande oländig kustlinje presenterar stora sandstränder och mer avskilda vikar. De mer populära stränder i närheten finns på Mojacar, Vera & Garrucha (ca 25-40 minuter). Quite Times

Stayed here for a fortnight and rested well. Firstly make sure you follow the directions and you will find the place easy, its tucked away and very quiet, The rear patio of the property is exceptional with a huge amount of space plenty of sun area and a good amount of shade space as well, its gets hot in the mountains and conversely can be chilly at night. Inside, the house is quirky with only 2 rooms on the same level, the entry dining room and kitchen, the Kitchen itself is large and well equipped and we had no trouble producing meals form there. There is also a large twin bedded room down some steps off the dining room. The TV room has a good range of english channels and for more comfort has a log fire for those colder moments. A large king size bedroom is up a few steps from the dining area and has an adjoining bathroom separated by a curtain. Overall the owners have made a good job in what is an old house in the mountains and still shows alot of the old character that you would expect and still has plenty of electric points an each room. During our stay we had a couple of problems with drainage and the electricity tripping, HOWEVER this in no way detracted form our stay as we made contact with the owners and they were nothing short of straight onto it. In fact they were nothing short of brilliant, both in getting the issues sorted and communicating with us. The only reason i cant give this house five stars is the internal layout was difficult for us as we had my mother with us (82) and she wasn't confident in going to the upstairs double bedroom as there was no toilet up there we didn't want her trying to go up and down in the night. we also would have preferred a door not a curtain between the master bedroom and ensuite which was also shared with the other twin bedroom. Putting al that aside the area is great with some nice places to visit all in the very well written and comprehensive house info given by the owners. you must be confident driving as its about a 20 minute drive to the main fast roads and in the small village itself with a large 7 seater van it was an experience. If you like peace and quiet, great views, interesting local walks and the security that the owners will help you out with anything you need then this is the place for you . Peace and Quiet in the hills

Las Casitas is a lovely, spacious property in a small Spanish village in the hills. If you want a quiet place to read that book that you have been looking forward to then relaxing on the sun loungers around the pool is the place for you. Alternatively, if you are a family or a group of friends the same pool can be the focus of your time at Las Casitas with different areas to dine and terraces and patios at different levels to sunbathe. The interior of the house is a mixture of traditional and contemporary and provides welcome shelter from the (dependable) sun if you have overdone it a bit! Excellent wi-fi and access to British television is available. The house is very well equipped with every item that an enthusiastic cook could want, barbeque kit and everything else you can think of - and it even has its own lemon tree in the garden. The hills/mountains surrounding the village of Los Matreros are really worth exploring both on foot and by car, it would also be excellent for cyclists as road surfaces are generally good with very little traffic on them. Access to the coast and many different beaches is easy from Las Casitas, perhaps the most well-known town locally is Mojacar and it is fun to explore the charming maze of streets of white-washed houses on the side of a steep hillside. Access by plane is easy, Almeria Airport is an easy drive of around an hour and a half from Las Casitas.

Beautiful home that exceeded our expectations, definitely return soon.

We were looking for a peaceful break in Spain and found Las Casitas both relaxing and beautiful. This well-equipped pretty house is very spacious and full of character (even with a fully laden lemon tree!). It is set on the side of a hill in a tiny village surrounded by the most beautiful Andalucian countryside. We visited in early June and the weather was ideal (about 25 degrees) but we were glad that the pool was heated as (from previous Spanish holidays) we know that Spanish swimming pools in early Summer can be quite chilly. We went for some lovely walks along the riverbed and ventured out a couple of days and the local beaches are fairly easy to reach (30 to 40 minutes drive). We think the property must be fairly new on the rental market as there were no reviews (which did make us a little nervous) but the whole family thoroughly enjoyed the week. The charming property was all we had hoped for, and more.

We are a family from Oxfordshire in England and have 2 boys aged 6 and 12. We are a professional couple and our lives, like many, are hectic. That is why a holiday with the children in a special place is very important. The wifi at Las Casitas is also good so we are able to fend off any work issues should they arise and the kids ipads/tablets etc are all online.

We had been holidaying in this beautiful region of Spain for several years and have stayed at the beautiful property next door, which is where we fell in love with the stunning view. We bought Las Casitas in 2016 and are thrilled to own such a lovely holiday home.

If you enjoy peace and tranquility on holiday as well as beautiful scenery then Las Casitas is well worth a visit. This old property was brilliantly and lovingly restored by the previous owners and combines tradition with modern comforts. The heated pool makes all the difference when visiting outside of peak Summer and the house is within easy reach (30 to 40 minutes) of the many beautiful beaches - so plenty to amuse the kids.

The stunning location has something for most people, although if you are into hectic nightlife then this probably isn't for you. Within easy drive of Las Casitas you can enjoy a day at the beach, walks in beautiful countryside, birdwatching, long lunches at nearby restaurants, exploring Andalucian villages, visiting the National Park - Cabo de Gata which now has water sports facilities, or a day at the nearby water park at Vera.

This spacious holiday home is full of character and will comfortably sleep 10 people making it ideal for family gatherings or a couple of families holidaying together.
