Välkommen till Helt Beachin i Corolla, ett perfekt hem-away-from-home i Outer Banks!

Kom till "Totally Beachin" för en avkopplande semester. Kom och se de vilda hästarna, fyren, Whale huvud Club, shopping, restauranger, barer, awesome stränder, och så mycket mer. Du hittar allt du behöver för att slappna av och njuta av din semester.
Som en del av byarna på Ocean Hill gemenskapen, din vistelse ingår också privat tillgång till stranden, två pooler, en snackbar, fitnesscenter (med liten avgift), tennis, volleyboll, basket domstolar boll, en lekplats och en liten gemenskap fiskesjö.
Det finns bara en 2-minuters bilresa till 4X4 Beach Carova Beach tillträde där vildhäst helgedomen är. Området har underbara naturliga stigar som leder dig till ljudet. Underbara vägar som är tillräckligt bred för vandrare och cykling.

Vårt hus är 3 berättelser med översta våningen är en trevlig öppen planlösning, högt i tak med gott om plats. Den har flera däck för att njuta av, en badtunna och utomhusdusch. Du kan också dra nytta av en utomhus kolgrill och picknickbord. I vardagsrummet är utrustad med en platt-TV, DVD / video, stereo och massor av spel och pussel. Och naturligtvis, det finns gratis WiFi.

Den andra våningen har tre sovrum varav ett är en mycket rymlig master med en king size säng, en trevlig storlek badrum och en kortlek. De andra två sovrummen är rymliga samt. En med en king size säng och den andra en drottning som har sin egen lek med en hängmatta swing att sitta och koppla av på. De delar ett badrum. Tvätten är också på denna våning. Bottenvåningen har två sovrum. Ett med våningssäng och botten är en full storlek säng. Det andra rummet har två enkelsängar. Spelet rum med en fotboll tabellen är här nere och ett badrum samt. Hemmet kommer med alla sängkläder.

Great stay

Our stay at this beach house in OBX was absolutely perfect! With 13 of us—6 adults and 7 kids—the spacious layout provided everyone with plenty of room to relax and enjoy. The house was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and just a short walk to the beach, making it ideal for our family getaway. The owner was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, ensuring our experience was nothing short of spectacular. We can't wait to return!

Awesome host and location!

Cathy is an extraordinary host and very easy to communicate with! The home was very clean and well stocked. The hot tub was also very clean and we loved getting into it after we were in the ocean. The outdoor shower actually has hot water! It was great to get that sand off. It is also in an amazing location – just minutes from the beach and either one of the pools. We had a wonderful time! Thank you, Cathy!

Best Vacation Ever!

We had the best time in Corolla! The property was fantastic, the beach access was amazing and the dolphins that liked to play and hunt right off the beach were a special added bonus. I can not say enough good things about our stay.

First family vacation

We had a wonderful time. The house was great and we settled into our week easily. My daughter just recently turned 1 so this was our first family vacation. It was an excellent quiet neighborhood for us to relax. She enjoyed the pool and her first time at the beach so much. We did get to experience the wild horses one of the days because the location was so good. A favorite memory of ours. We will definitely be routine beach goers!

Corolla is Totally Beachin’

An ideal location to everything… beaches, restaurants, shopping and sight-seeing. We enjoyed our stay in Corolla and excursions to Carova Beach and southward to Nags Head. This home is older, is clean and spacious. Just a 2 minute drive to a private beach with parking. We didn’t miss a step with tropical storm Ophelia bringing heavy rain and high wind gusts on Friday afternoon/evening. Thank you so much Catherine for opening your home. Great stay!

Fun beach house in great location

This home is welcoming and capable of accommodating larger groups. Owner is easy to communicate with. Kitchen well stocked and most furniture comfortable. Five minute walk to beach. Our group thought the basement could use a larger dehumidifier (just because we had to empty it often) and that the shower heads could be updated - although they are perfectly functional. Thanks for a nice stay.

Wonderful location, Comfortable furniture and beds... We loved it!

We had an excellent time at Totally Beachin'! The location is wonderful with a boardwalk and path through Currituck Banks Estuarine Reserve AND a beach access within walking distance (both have parking lots as well, if you prefer to drive). The house is away from the commercial areas of the OBX with amazingly dark star filled skies at night, but is very close to the lighthouse and restaurants. The beds were extra comfortable, and the boys loved the foosball table! Cathy was very responsive, and it was overall a great experience. We hope to return. Thanks again!

Memorial Day 2020

The property & owner did not disappoint. The owner was prompt in returning my messages & answering questions. The home was exactly as described in a lovely neighborhood. We met several of the neighbors while staying there & they were all very welcoming. We enjoyed the nature trails and the proximity to the beach. our family of 10 had plenty of room, so that we never felt like we were all on top of one another. The kids are already planning our next trip to stay in Totally Beachin !

Great house!

I was off season, chilly and rainy, but I am sure that this spot is amazing when the weather is right. Walkable to the beach, volleyball, basketball, tennis and children's playground. Also walkable to the estuary and two minutes from the 4x4 beach. We had a quiet and relaxing week, but can't wait to come back to enjoy everything that Corolla has to offer. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home! We enjoyed sitting up in the loft to read and watch the rain outside. And the kitchen was very well stocked.

If you like a work out , this property is for you! Lots of steps. The bedrooms were large and comfy. Kitchen was amazingly well stocked. Never did find the private beach, and the gentleman where you registered had no idea what we were talking about. Convenient to shops, grocery stores and restaurants. The weather was perfect! It was a very relaxing vacation despite the construction next door. We thank the host for the use of their home.

Great spot for our family!

We had a wonderful week with 8 people at this house. Plenty of space - the living area is much bigger than the pictures show. Large table for 8 for meals, plus kitchen bar. The kitchen is awesome - very well stocked with everything you could need for the week. We grilled several times and the grill was clean and well maintained. We loved all the decks around the house and used them all. Access to two pools is nice - short walk to both. We had grandparents with us that sometimes found the walk long but easy for us and our kids. Beach access is great but we needed to drive with all of our chairs. Parking pass provided and always open spots so it was easy. We walked to the beach several times without all of our beach stuff and that was easy. The house was very clean and well maintained. The hot tub was a bonus for us and we all enjoyed it. The host contacted us via text with a minor AC issue and was very nice and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Beach House

The property was comfortable; the location was very nice. There are some items that could be improved upon. I would provide more than one dish towel and more wash cloths would be nice. The powder room sink faucet is dripping if you don’t get it turned off just right. These are minor things and this is not meant to be a complaint. All in all it is a nice property and my family and I enjoyed our week there.

Great Value - convenient location

We have stayed in this community a few times and enjoy the location and amenities. The beachside pool with bathrooms and shade is fantastic, plus you can park at that location to avoid the long haul with all the beach gear. You would be hard pressed to find a better value in this neighborhood than this house. Every beach house we have stayed in needs attention of some kind (the salt air is unforgiving on the house exteriors and decks)! Yes, this house could use some updates and general repairs, but the value is phenomenal. House layout and furnishings were good. A 2nd fridge would be a great add for the basement. This house does not have a pool, but there are 2 pools in the community to access. It was not a super far walk to the beach (fine for our group with the youngest children being 8yo). If you had toddlers/babies then it may have been a farther trek than you would want BUT that is why the beachside parking/pool is fine to drive and just walk onto the beach from there. Comfortable beds, working AC, functional kitchen and a fantastic neighborhood - what more can you ask for! The water pressure for showers was amazing FYI. I would stay again!

Great time in Corolla!!

I love the location and the community that this property is in. It’s the closest community to the 4x4 beach in Corolla. The amenities are pretty awesome within the community! There are two pools and a private beach access. The house is spacious with plenty of private balconies, one balcony including a hot tub. The house was clean on the inside. It had all the kitchen appliances you could think of. The owner was quick to respond and happy to answer all the questions I had. Some improvements could be done to the house. A lot of the houses in the community have their own private pool, this house does not have a private pool. The shower heads were outdated, the outside shower was not in great shape, but did the job! Other than that, I loved our experience at the Beach Oasis and would definitely return!!

Great beach, funky house

Great location and perfect beach. The owner contacted me hours prior to my arrival to make sure I had the code (I did not). We got early access.. yay! Can’t say enough about Corolla. The house was a little funky... found trash under the beds and not very well equipped with kitchen supplies. Linens and pillows smelled unwashed, glad we brought our own. Upon arrival, one of the dining room chairs broke, forgot to mention it to the owner so thanks to us you have a new chair! We broke 2 glasses while we were there but the owner/ cleaning company said that there were 8 missing. Seems as though some cleaners are more dilligent than others,,, before pic was sent, but with no time stamp. So. If you rent this property be sure you fine tooth comb when you get there. Property had basic needs met and can’t say enough about the area.

Beach access and open floor plan

Owner was great at communicating, the open floor plan upstairs provided lots of space, plenty of decks, hot tub was excellent, private beach access with the pool right by the water was a huge plus. There were a lot of kitchen items and check-in was easy. You are steps from the 4x4 beach which was great for us- we rented a jeep for 2 days. The propane grill works well and is in a good location on the top deck, AC was excellent and all the decks have nice chairs on them. The property is not very updated, no screens on patio doors and agree with other guests that the beds are kind of hard, most rooms have really small dvd-style TVs, and there are no beach supplies (toys, chairs, bikes, etc.)- which we knew but is nice when they are available. For the price it was a good stay and no issues. If arriving early, park by the ocean-side pool and go to the beach, but don’t expect to get into the actual pool without passes, which you need to get with the paperwork inside the house. The pool staff at the clubhouse was rude about this, but that is not the owners fault. We had some pest problems in the house but the owner had a company come out right away, so just communicating with them if there’s a problem is the best way to go! The owner even brought us extra kitchen towels when I mentioned the cleaners forgot to leave us some.

Some TLC Needed

The house has a good layout and in a great neighborhood but the state of the home was a big disappointment so we will not be returning. Many basic furnishings were broken, missing or just plain uncomfortable. The linens (while clean) were cheap and very old. The exterior was dirty and unswept. The grill was full of old ashes and the trash cans were stinky and full. The carpet and throw rugs were musty and tattered. The owner was prompt to return messages but avoided apologizing for anything, blaming the past renters or the cleaning crew for any issues. When the WiFi went out half way through the trip she was very helpful and able to patch us through to the service but here again she claimed “this has never happened before”. We feel the owner would do well to do a few simple updates (new coffee maker, lamps etc.,), provide better linens and pillows (a small cost but big impact on comfort) and have more empathy when interacting with disappointed guests.

Great house!

We had a great time here! Plenty of room for my parents, me, my husband, and our kids ages 22, 22, 18, 16, 13, and 9. The location was much better than I expected. The beach is a 5 min walk and only crosses 1 semi busy road which has a sidewalk and a crosswalk. The walk did not feel long or dangerous at all. There’s a pool at one of the beach access points which is super convenient that the beach and pool are next to each other! There’s also a 2nd pool by Crystal Lake/the fitness center/basketball court. (Make sure you get your pool passes at the fitness center the first day before going to the beach pool to save having to walk back.) There was also plenty of parking at the beach access point. (Bring your parking permit.) The house was great. Sheets and bath towels were provided. When we went there was toilet paper, hand soap, garbage bags, ziploc bags, aluminum foil, kuerig and regular coffee pots, coffee filters, salt, pepper, other seasonings, dish soap. It was one of the best stocked properties I’ve stayed at! There were also some beach chairs and boogie boards in the carport. The hot tub was clean and functional. We enjoyed it. It’s on the 2nd floor deck which is nice because it provides some shade and protection from the rain. The 2nd king bedroom is attached to the hallway full bathroom which was super convenient because you can enter from the bedroom or hallway. Would stay here again!

My husband and I have been coming to Corolla for a long time. We love the shopping, the restaurants, walking on the beach, beautiful scenery, sunsets and so much more. Once we had kids we decided this would be an awesome opportunity and place to spend family vacations and just enjoy time together. Somewhere for them to bring their kids one day. I hope everyone has the same experiences as we have when renting our home.

We bought this home because we loved the area. Corolla is a beautiful area that takes your breath away. Our home is in a nice neighborhood setting, privacy but you still feel your at the beach. Everyone is very friendly.

One of the wonderful benefits to our property is the neighborhood. Walking trails throughout, amenities include the two pools, private beach access, pickle ball, basket and volley ball courts, park, community fishing and fitness club if you desire. You can walk or drive to the 4X4 Beach. It's only approximately 500 yards from the house. Our family has always loved driving on it and enjoying the day and evenings playing games, swimming and watching the sunrise and sets.
