Pittoreska och mysig stuga strax utanför stadsgränsen i Highlands, North Carolina. Stugan ligger i ett lugnt, sex-hem utveckling bara 2. 8 miles från Main Street. Vår stadsdel är på Buck Creek Road som är off Highway 64 strax innan sjukhuset.

Vårt hem ligger granne med VRBO Listing 696.793 och VRBO Listing 240.972.

Nyrenoverat med alla moderna bekvämligheter (centrala värme / luft, diskmaskin, tvättmaskin / torktumlare, badtunna, kabel-TV, gas förrätt för spis, höghastighetsinternet, etc.). Stora däck som sveper runt sidan av huset. Du kan höra det forsande vattnet i bäcken från däck och alla sovrum.

Övervåningen har sovrum med dubbelsäng och mindre sovrum med en extra lång twin dagbädd, stort badrum med dubbla fåfänga. Bottenvåningen har ett sovrum med dubbelsäng, äter i köket, solrummet med stack sten spis med gas förrätt, stora däck med badtunna wraps runt huset.

Great Highlands VRBO!

We enjoyed our stay at Garrard's property in Highlands. The location was excellent. We loved the porch overlooking the woods; unfortunately we didn't have lots of time to spend there. The house could use a little refurbishing, but it had everything we needed!

Wonderful stay!

The cabin was perfect for me and my dog! We both had a fantastic time in the mountains. The cabin was very clean and we loved the deck with peaceful sounds of running water. We can't wait to come back!

Nice & Convenient

Nice amenities and location extremely convenient to town and to nearby hiking adventures. Parking is tight for large vehicles (mini-van) but definitely not a deal breaker. We enjoyed and would return.

Great location by a roaring stream

This location is smack dab in the middle of everything that Highlands and Cashiers has to offer. The host, Garrard, was quick to respond to me and very helpful. Highly recommend this location for a mountain get a way.

Peacful and Quiet Mountain Retreat!

Loved this vacation rental that we've enjoyed for two summers in a row! The back and side porch overlooks the woods and you can hear a distant stream. Very peacful. Hottub is a plus. Needed to communicate something with the owner and received an immediate response. Parking on the side is tight, but manageable. Will stay again!

Everything we needed for a long weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s not a far drive from town and was convenient to my son who only lives a mile down the road. Had a little confusion on check out time since VRBO had two different times and refrigerator had conflicting info as well. The owner was super nice and understanding, but make sure you confirm if unsure. The property is a little quirky, and smaller living room area may not have worked for a longer stay, but very clean and kitchen was fully stocked to have a nice family meal together.

Cozy house and great location

Well kept house! Great location. Not in town but close enough. We were in Highlands for a wedding at a venue nearby. Hot tub was a plus! Enjoyed relaxing in it daily. Hope to visit again.

Cozy and nice

The house is cozy, warm and nice. Very comfortable for the two of us. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom closest to the hot tub which made our weekend. Check-in couldn't be any easier. If I had to pick on something, it would be the tight parking for a full size truck. I would stay again the next time we visit Highlands.

Fantastically located and well-equipped

We came to Highlands for a wedding weekend. Luckily we found this great place a short drive out of town and about 1.5 mi from the venue. We loved the expansive deck and hot tub as well as the generally serene setting. Details we loved — comfy beds, well functioning equipment (washer/dryer, keypad, ice maker, windows that easily open and close), and a kitchen stocked with things you want on hand like coffee filters, salt, pots and pans, Etc. Just note the house is quite close to others so you’ll hear your neighbors and perhaps some traffic from the nearby road. We’d all stay again happily

Great Mountain Getaway!

I rented this property for family visiting us in Highlands and they really enjoyed their stay! The home along with adjacent properties are well-cared for and clean. The inside was also clean and provided ample space for an adult and four kids/teenagers. Kitchen was well stocked. The back porch and hottub are the jewel of the property! Beautiful and secluded views of the woods and you can hear a stream in the distance. I would highly recommend this listing to family and friends and we'll be back!

I am a young professional who lives in Atlanta. I bought this property to have a weekend get a way place that was a short drive from Atlanta. I live in the Vinings area of Atlanta and can be at my Highlands place in two hours and 15 minutes door to door.

I bought my house in Highlands as an investment. The town of Highlands continues to grow and attract a sophisticated yet casual group of successful visitors and home owners. The Highlands community is very cordial and offers everything from live theater to antique shopping and other great retail stores. Highlands Main Street has been called the Worth Avenue of the mountains. Main Street offers everything from screw drivers to fine dining to estate jewelry and home accessories.

High Cotton Cottage offers many great benefits to enjoy during your stay. The cottage is located on a hill which over looks Buck Creek. You can hear the soothing sounds of the creek from my decks and many rooms of the house. The cottage is very cozy and has a stone fireplace with a gas starter. The hot tub on the rear of the house looks off into the woods for total relaxation and enjoyment. The cottage is located in a private neighborhood owned by a group of five families who are all friends.
