This place was awesome. So peaceful and quiet with excellent views off the back porch. My wife and I did some hiking at Dinosaur Valley State Park and then went to this cottage to recoup and it was better than we expected. We were also greeted by donkeys and goats and they were so cute. We will have to bring treats the next time we come. The pictures don’t really do it justice, you just have to go.

This is a very special property packed with plenty to do on site and in the near by small towns of Glen Rose and Walnut Springs. Our short visit did not allow us to experience the full ranch, however, we did meet the wonderful donkeys. We will certainly return.

Communication was top-notch, and the location was perfect for exploring all the small towns we wanted to visit. The views from the porch were beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to disconnect, relax, and enjoy nature. We truly loved our stay!

What an absolutely wonderful place to stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. Our LaQuita and Mike were amazing—genuinely kind, thoughtful, and the kind of people who make a great getaway even more memorable.The accommodations were beautiful, comfortable, and everything we could have hoped for. And we absolutely fell in love with the animals, who were more than happy to make friends with us—especially when they discovered we were willing to share our cheese balls! That was definitely one of the highlights of our stay and gave us some great memories and plenty of laughs.It's not often you find a place that offers both beautiful accommodations and such warm, genuine hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return. Thank you for making our stay so special!

The property was great, house and grounds were clean and well maintained and hot tub was private and very relaxing. Pool area and koi pond with water feature were beautiful and also well maintained, just a short walk from the cabin, and because it was our anniversary the strawberries and wine were a nice touch and nice surprise. We would like to come back next anniversary if not before. Also the host was very attentive and easy to get ahold of

This property was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. We needed a quick get away for spring break while the kids stayed with Grandma. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The DVD selection that was provided was awesome. I hope to come back again.

Relaxing stay

Great peacefull property. Everything was as described. The scenery was great. The hot tub was an added bonus after a day of MTB and hiking. Was a great place to get away and relax.

Amazing Stay

Wonderful property and a wonderful host. Everything from start to finish was a five star experience. Close to town but not too far out of town. Awesome view from the back patio while enjoying your morning coffee.
