Convenient quiet safe little get away

Less utensils and most of them were not clean. not enough toilet papers, no extra towels. Water was dripping from AC vent.

The room was not worth the money.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Room we stayed in was 1401 and needs a lot of work. Kitchen cabinets old and broken at the bottom where the sink is. Didn’t even use the stove because it looks old and rusty. The couch needs to be replaced, Wasn’t even comfortable sitting on it, can’t even use the pull out couch. The balcony door was a workout having to open it the first three days. The closet door in the room seemed to be broken, we didn’t even use the closet. The worse part was the bathroom.The toilet was wobbly and had rust marks at the bottom of the floor, the bathroom had a sewer smell to it like they need to have the pipes checked or something fixed. For what I paid for a week, the room was not worth it, a motel might have been cleaner than the room we stayed in and money could’ve been saved. On top of it, we gotta buy toilet paper, and trash bags. There’s no front desk or maintenance staff on site, you have to call a number if you need maintenance and good luck if it happens over the weekend because you may have to wait until Monday . AC went out on Saturday and a sign was up on the elevators that it will need be taken care of Monday, luckily we checked out Sunday morning. As far as the room we had, I’m not sure if it was because they only have certain rooms for but I will NEVER use again and they will have to do better in selecting which rooms should be available and need to be worked on before letting paying guests stay in those rooms. For the amount they charge, they should fix these rooms. I’ve stayed in other hotels in SC and never had an issue with any of the rooms we stayed in.

Not very helpful

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location, the room was clean but everytime we used the shower, the shower head fell off and sprayed you in the face. The wifi never worked, when we called to see about fixing it, they just said they'll leave a note for maintenance. Tv in bedroom never worked. No bed linens for sofa bed. Oh, and the door was super hard to unlock.

Good location and pools

Enjoyed our trip very much! Only complaint I have is we did not get check in instructions, so when we got there had to call and find out we needed to drive to rental office. Took us a couple extra minutes, but other than that it was great my kids enjoyed the beach and pools very much.

April 2018 Stay

Very enjoyable two week stay. The issues mentioned in previous review were resolved prior to our arrival. Love the view and proximity to the ocean. Kitchen is fully stocked. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows, etc. Couch is comfortable (which is also a pullout though we didn’t use that feature). Beds comfortable as well.

September 2017 Stay

Room was not cleaned. Stove/oven was disgusting. Light in hallway had a hole under it. It was sealed but reopened. Sealed again but was never sanded. Hole is starting to reopen. Toilet kept running and supposedly fixed, still run sometimes as if it is being flushed. Bathroom light needed replacing, no one ever came to replace. I went to office for mail and was given a box of bulbs. Had problem with cable, that was taken care of. The unit is nice, the view is spectacular. I would like to spend 6 months again for the winter months. I wish you had annual renting, I am a senior and love the area. I think their is a lot of miscommunication between the office and maintenance. That said, I would recommend staying at OFP.
