Stugan har English Tourist Board 3-stjärnklassificering och har smakfullt inredda och välmöblerade hela.
Ett glasstak i köket maximerar en härlig ljus och luftig atmosfär. Med sin egen privata trädgård och fantastisk utsikt över Tyne-dalen är det ett lugnt hörn av Tyne-dalen men på gångavstånd från den pittoreska byn Corbridge
och dess utmärkta butiker och pubar, och mindre än tre mil västerut är den populära marknadsstaden Hexham. Hadrians mur och många romerska intressanta platser ligger alla inom några kilometer bilresa.
Den oförstörda Northumbrian kusten, Lindisfarne på Holy Island och de skotska gränserna bortom är lättillgängliga för en dagstur.
Dilston Cottage består på bottenvåningen ett vardagsrum med bäddsoffa, ett öppet kök / matrum med elektrisk ugn och gasspis, mikrovågsugn, kyl, diskmaskin och tvättmaskin. Hel gasvärme, WiFi, satellit-TV och DVD-spelare.
På första våningen ett sovrum med möjlighet till två enkelsängar eller en king size-säng och enkelsäng (lämplig för ett barn) och ett badrum med dusch och badkar.
Stugan har full gasvärme, sänglinne och handdukar tillhandahålls, och det finns en sluten trädgård med uteplats och utomhusbord och stolar, grill och en säker förvaringsplats för cyklar.

Beutiful little cottage and private garden with a superb view. Everything needed virtually on the doorstep, walks, history a great cafe in Corbridge and Hexam only 10 mins away for supermarket. The bed was incredibly comfortable with a great deal of thought having gone into the kitchen equipment supplied. Well done Susie in being a great host.

Peace and quiet

The cottage is lovely, warmx, quiet and comfortable with everything you could need. Despite the additonal cost for the sofa bed bedding we would stay again. 😊

Great cottage!

This is the place to stay for a very comfortable visit to Corbridge. The house is very clean and there is plenty of room. There is also a garden with a superb view over the countryside. Corbridge is really nice (beautiful streets, nice shops) and so is nearby Hexham. Northumbria national park is within reach and so is Hadrian's Wall, both worth a visit.

My Favorite English Respite

Dilston Cottage was like our own little English hideaway, very accessible, charming, cozy, within walking distance of bustling little Corbridge, steeped in the history of Hadrian’s Wall a short drive away. All our needs were met, comfy bed, kitchen, we even caught up on laundry, a dry stack walled yard with rolling farm fields beyond, with a table and chairs for our evening wine. We woke to the twitter of many different bird species in the garden. Great host, perfect ambiance, our favorite stop on our Great Britain trip!

Home away from home

Beautiful, clean and well cared for. Plenty of cooking equipment, dining ware, and even a vacuum and a mop so we could keep it as clean as when we arrived. Bed was very very comfortable and our child loved the sofa bed. Fridge and separate freezer, washer dryer and even a dishwasher. Plenty of local amenities within walking distance and a very historical area. The Corbridge Historical Society display is definitely worth a visit and there are heaps of walks for dogs and plenty of museums and attractions (Beamish is 40 minutes drive away and definitely worth it!) Susie is a wonderful host.

Disappointing

Lovely looking property & great views. Very poor cooking implements - 1 saucepan, no fry pan, cramped working services. Uncomfortable sofas impossible to get comfortable on. Extremely firm bed which did not promote good sleep. No local walks for dogs. Lovely views

A relaxing week

A lovely modern cottage with its own private garden with a beautiful view. Property is a few minutes walk from a footpath that takes you to the river. Perfect for walking the dog. It is about a 10 minute walk into Corbridge. There are a number of restaurants and takeaways nearby. Susie was very welcoming and available if we needed anything. It was the perfect base to explore Northumberland from. We would definitely recommend.

Excellent Countryside Cottage

Ideal for dog owners set in rural Tyne valley. Multiple walks on your doorstep as well as dog friendly pubs within 20mins walk. Cottage was immaculately presented and Susie was a welcoming host. Even offering to post clothes we left behind.

Just outside Corbridge

This is a very comfortable, well-planned property, making clever use of limited space. Although in fact quite small it does not feel in the least bit cramped. It is very private, despite being attached to the owner's house and has a small garden with views up the Tyne Valley from Corbridge to Hexham. The off street parking for one car is fine, although I think a very large car might find it difficult (I have a Tiguan).

Perfect cottage and location

Beautiful cottage and location, just as described. Corbridge is a lovely village, and all Hadrian’s Wall attractions close by. Easy trip to the coast, and don’t miss Cragside. Cottage had everything we needed and great for our dog as well.

Beautiful cottage

Couldn’t have chosen a better location for our short break. The cottage was beautiful, light & airy with all the amenities we needed. Corbridge itself around 10 minutes walk away, lots of choice for food & drinks. Amazing walks all within reach of the property. Would definitely recommend.
