Hook Cottage is a perfect location for exploring Chipping Campden and the surrounding Cotswalds region. Skipper is fantastic at communication and I would highly recommend using this as a "home base" if your travel plans include the Cotswalds. The cottage is very clean and beautifully designed. Beds are very comfortable and the linens are cozy. Excellent Filet & Bone store next door for wonderful fresh produce, cheese, meats and prepared items. Wide variety of restaurants and lovely shops as well all within walking distance of the cottage.

What a darling place! Wonderful location. Very clean. Historical property with modern amenities. The hosts were thoughtful, good communicators and left a special welcome package that was very thoughtful and helpful—especially traveling with young children. We absolutely loved this place—the cleanliness, thoughtfulness of hosts, location, everything—it was a lovely place, and I would highly recommend!

The most beautiful cottage in the most perfect town! This was our first Cotswolds visit, and we fell in love with this spot. The location was fantastic - situated right in the town but also very quiet and relaxing. The town itself was perfect - it felt relaxed and not nearly as touristy as some of the others we visited . Beautiful shops, restaurants, etc! Skipper was a fantastic host. Look forward to coming back!

The perfect place to base youself to explore the Cotswolds. The welcome pack was a wonderful start. There is everything you need or couple possibly think off in a luxurious setting. What a wonderful cottage!

Perfect for a girls getaway! We could not have asked for a better place. It was a great location and everything we needed was provided. The garden courtyard was beautiful for morning coffee and a glass of wine in the evening.

An absolute dream

This place was absolute dream from the moment we walked through the gate. We immersed ourselves in Chipping Campden and enjoyed quiet mornings, walks to the playground, and shopping. We will stay here again if we venture to England again someday. It was perfect.

Fantastic location for families.

Hook cottage met all our family’s needs. The location is perfect and the welcome from the host saved us trying to track down necessities asap. Close to great local pubs and easy to access. The beds were so comfortable and there was enough space to spread out or be together. The garden and terrace seating allowed for a quiet reflection in the afternoon sun. Perfect for travel with teens. Loved it.

Lovely cottage

The cottage is in an amazing location in Chipping Campden. Very quiet and relaxing after long walks and bike rides through the Cotswolds. The goodies Skipper provided on our arrival were most welcome. Highly recommend!

Fabulous cottage in the Cotswolds

My family as well as my sister and her husband came to Chipping Campden to visit a family friend. Hook cottage provided a wonderful central location in the beautiful village of Chipping Campden. The cottage was well appointed and the beds comfortable. The welcoming touches of fruits and jams and wine were fabulous. We are already thinking of reasons to come back soon!

Another wonderful stay

This is our second stay at Hook Cottage and the second time was as wonderful as the first. This is a meticulously maintained property that is spotlessly clean. It's warm and cozy with lots of nice details like coffee, tea, soaps, etc. The location is wonderful - tucked off the High Street in a very convenient spot. Do not hesitate to book this lovely home! We plan to return!

Charming Story Book Cottage!

We absolutely loved our time at Hook Cottage. It was like a storybook with the roses climbing the walls and the beautiful flowers. The host was very kind and easy to communicate with. The area is perfect - you can find great food right outside the door. The rooms were comfortable and could accommodate 7 of us comfortably (3 children). We really appreciated the kid-friendly touches with the children's books and games as well!

The Perfect Getaway

This was the most beautiful cottage, perfectly and beautifully designed. The hosts could not have been more gracious. Excellent communication and response times. Very welcoming and kind. Easy to find and extremely comfortable with the best location. Wish we could have stayed much longer.

Amazing break!

Property is a cosy, classic cottage set back in a quiet location. Beautiful courtyard to enjoy morning coffee/evening drinks. Skipper the host was amazing, very helpful and accommodating. Lovely touches like fresh flowers, fresh fruit, wine and bread. The cottage was spotless: comfy beds and furnishings. We will definately be visiting again, thank you from Debi, Mike, Alexander and Becky. 😘

A Wonderful Cottage

As you can gather from the consistently good reviews, this is a wonderful cottage rental. Everything looked exactly as shown in the pictures and it was all truly very charming. All that we could have asked for in the rental was provided. It was so nice being located right in town. We were able to go to the shops and pubs very easily. I could only hope to be back some day. A perfect choice

This was one of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever had! Every detail had been well thought out to make us feel like we were staying with friends. A bouquet of daffodils was waiting for us on the table, as well as fresh baked bread, jam, tea, milk, and wine. Everything worked well, the beds were comfy, and the spotless decor looked like rooms found in a magazine. Great job, Skipper! Chipping Camden had pubs and restaurants, food shops, pharmacy, and walking paths. We had such a good time!

Amazing little gem of a find

This stunning cottage is right in the centre of the bustling market town of Chipping Campden but is hidden behind a small gate off the high street that leads to a courtyard - you're as central as possible in the town but it's in it's own peaceful oasis. We were on a girly weekend so to have 4 separate bedrooms all with comfy beds, an ensuite and a separate bathroom was perfect for us - as was the open plan kitchen lounge area. The cottage was immaculate and beautifully furnished. Skipper was so pleasant to deal with and we will definitely be back. Chipping Campden is a great little town with walks from the doorstep, a good selection of restaurants, pubs and cafes (we had a delicious meal at The Eight Bells) and also a good selection of shops to browse around. We were blessed with the weather and the outdoor table and chairs were brilliant for our afternoon coffee. We parked in the central carpark (right opposite the gate to the property) when we first arrived and had no problem moving the car to the street parking once the bustle had died down a bit. I've stayed in lots of cottages over the years and this is one of the best - we couldn't recommend it more if we tried.

Cotswold hideaway

We stayed here for the girls' trip. Skipper communicated well, answering all my questions before arrival. It was a lovely four-bedroom home with one room downstairs and three upstairs. It was very clean. It was in the middle of town but very secluded. Make sure you ask how to work the bathroom tub knobs. Never quite figured that out. Lovely sitting area in a nicely manicured garden. This stop was our favorite part of the trip. The town closed up early at night which was kind of strange. Highly recommend hiring a driver to visit the area. Roads are small, with limited parking. Our driver, John, was inexpensive, and these towns are very small and have limited parking. Skipper can give you, his number. This cottage has everything you need, and I highly recommend staying here. There is no washer or dryer so plan for that. I was surprised that all the UK residents were extremely nice and accommodating. Thanks, Skipper, for making this a really nice experience.

We had a lovely stay at Hook Cottage. The house was spotless, comfortable, warm, tastefully decorated and very quiet with it being set back from the road. Chipping Campden is beautiful and a convenient base to visit other nearby towns. We will definitely return.

Brilliant cottage

Lovely cottage in an unbearable location in the lovely Chipping Camden. Skipper was a great host, and even left a bottle of wine for the group. Perfect for 6 or 7 people for a long weekend, would definitely stay again!
