Spire House är en härlig Grade 11 Noterade Georgian House i centrum av den medeltida staden Salisbury. Facing the Cathedral Close Wall erbjuder några spektakulära vyer över katedralen. Dess ett stort hus med 3 sovrum alla med eget badrum. Med en rymlig och vackert inredda salong, mysiga TV-rum och färgglada frukost / matsal. Den nyinstallerade stora moderna kök är attraktiva och funktionella. Huset har ett fullt utrustat grovkök och en separat toalett. Den eleganta Hall leder ut i den fascinerande staden Salisbury. Vårt kök dörren öppnas till en fredlig Walled Garden. Spire House har drivits som en B & B i över 20 år och är väl utrustade för att tillgodose besökare behov. Varje rum har omsorgsfullt och vackert inredda och inredning är av mycket hög standard.
Parkering i staden är lätt, bosatta parkeringsplatser finns tillgängliga och parkering tillstånd är organiserade på nätet i förväg.

Fantastic venue for our Bridge Weekend

As a group of woman, we were very impressed with the decor throughout the house. We also appreciated its’ close proximity to the town and Salisbury Cathedral. Going to the Flower Festival in the Cathedral was the icing on the cake!

Girlie weekend

The house is situated on three different levels. There is a beautiful open kitchen with dining room and lounge downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need from serving a bowl of cereal. tohaving a cocktail.

Great location

It is busy with it being a convenient location and a little noisy. The back courtyard doesn’t feel as private as the listing shows. The wildflower garden is a very nice touch.

Weekend stay and race

We stayed here over the weekend to be close to Thruxton Circuit for the British Touring Car Championship and Thruxton Kart racing. The home was lovely and met our families needs well. It was in walking distance of everything in Salisbury. The host was great, and even had some food staples to welcome us in the kitchen. We would love to stay here again!

Great house for a family meet up!

The house was a spacious place for six adults and two children to come together. We had a great time staying at the property which had everything we needed. The central location was perfect too, with both views of the cathedral and a few minutes walk to pubs, restaurants and shops.

Highly recommend this house

We loved the central location. The owner was very quick to respond to messages. The house was very clean, well equiped and although large was comfortable and cosy due to careful choice of furnishings and decor. It felt like a home not just another holiday let. We would use it again!!

Wonderful stay in Salisbury

Accommodations were perfect for our family as we each had an en-suite which was so convenient. Everything was clean and rooms nicely decorated. The location was ideal, easy to walk everywhere. Check in and communication with host was great! I highly recommend this lovely home. Thank you Lois!!

Great location, comfortable home, amazing kitchen! Stay here!

This was a great spacious home that really felt like a home yet so close to everything in Salisbury. Lois and the property manager, Karen, were very helpful with the parking details and the many notes helped guide us through the intricacies of any home in the city. I would definitely recommend this place.

Week in Salisbury

Very nice house and location. Lois made everything extremely easy and she is a wonderful host! The location was perfect for our day trips into the country and the multiple restaurants within walking distance made dinner very easy. Plenty of room for six adults and the back garden is wonderful.

Lovely stay in a fun, beautiful home

We enjoyed everything about this house....the location, the amenities, the different wallpapers and colors in each room! It has the best stocked kitchen I’ve encountered in 20+ years of renting vacation homes! Street parking was very easy and convenient with the permits arranged for us. We were so happy and would definitely rent again.

10/10 doesn’t even come close to how beautiful this property is! So much character, exquisitely decorated & equipped with everything you could possibly need. From start to finish communication with the owner Lois was first class, thank you! Just a stones throw from the idyllic town of Salisbury, this property & location made the perfect weekend away!

Great stay

House was very comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed eating in the back garden. The owner is very welcoming and accommodating. The location is excellent - the one small issue being that the street is very busy and hard to cross. The city could be a little more pedestrian-friendly!

Fabulous

Amazing stay in this beautiful Georgian house. It was very well equipped and there was added bonus on arrival, as there were the essential for anyone’s stay. Lois was very helpful and dealt with last minute vehicle changes. All in all we had a fantastic time and we have booked again for next year.

Lovely town house in a charming city

Everything was great ! My sister could not open the window on the top floor, which made sleeping uncomfortable ( main road side, had been a beautiful hot day). Parking was easy and the city was a charming place.

A beautiful English home

This home is lovely. Decorated beautifully. Comfortable. Convenient to the Chapter House for great food. Lois provided us with some breakfast essentials to get going in the morning, which was greatly appreciated.. loved it there, although parking was a little difficult, had 2 handicapped family members, even though we had permitted parking across the street, parking was not readily available when we needed it…

A beautiful, comfortable home. Perfect for a weekend getaway!

Our family of 6 came from all over the UK to celebrate our son’s 21st birthday. The house was perfect for our 4 sons (all young adults & teens). In fact they very much felt at home. Loved the decor, it was warm and cosy, beds were very comfortable and it had all the added extras that made our stay so successful. Fresh flowers, milk & butter in the fridge didn’t go unnoticed. Location for great, easy walk into town, pubs, restaurants and the Cathedral. It was a really lovely weekend. Thank you!

Perfect location, great for families

We stayed at Spire House for more than a week and really settled in. The place had plenty of space for my husband, me and two boys plus the grandparents. We most enjoyed the back English garden, large kitchen and prime location - right by the cathedral and walking distance to everything in town. We had a minor leak in the kitchen sink and Lois responded incredibly fast to get it fixed. It’s an old building so there are things Americans wouldn’t normally encounter that I’d like to mention just in case - the toilets sometimes need some extra flushing bc of old plumbing, the water pressure on the top floor isn’t stellar and there is no AC. We had plenty of fans and the ability to open windows - so no issues for us in our July visit. I would definitely recommend this VRBO. We enjoyed Salisbury too - lots to see and do with the whole family. Our favorite was the Cathedral and Wilton House (especially their playground!).

Perfect Salisbury Townhome

Our group of four 70ish adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable, attractive home close to the city center. Spacious with three bedrooms. Perfect for our group.

Cathedral Wedding Stay

WEDDING BREAK!

Many thanks to Lois and John who have a beautiful house decorated with a unique style and filled with everything to make our stay even more special. Located in the centre of Salisbury, with easy parking and great access to our son's wedding venue to the south of the city, the house was a great venue for our family to make this wonderful weekend even more memorable. Hi I am Lois my husband John used to run Spire House as a B&B. After 26 years we understand what visitors to our area really want and our home is equipped to ensure everyone have a great holiday. From maps and guides to spare umbrellas we have got it. We have been lucky enough to meet people from across the world and now we want to do some more exploring ourselves. This is why we are offering our lovely home to rent as a holiday home. We really believe in getting the most out of everyday and hope that like minded people will enjoy our city as much as we do. Although a small city we really think it has a lot to offer, take our cinema for example, we are real movie fans and our cinema is certainly original! It takes a 10 minutes fast walk to the excellent Playhouse theatre, I know that because I am always late! We also enjoy Salisbury Arts Centre and have seen a variety of productions. Guests will find plenty of information available at Spire House plus the opportunity to get good discounts from some of the places we support.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Spire House has been my absolute passion for years now, every room has been decorated with love and care. Our walled garden is much larger than the usual city garden and we have plenty of seating and a large patio area.
