Trapper's Cabin Àr perfekt för ett par eller en familj. Ekonomiskt prissatt till $ 250. 00 (ej inklusive skatter. GST och hotellskatt lÀgger 9% till hyran) per natt för upp till fyra personer. (över fyra personer Àr $ 10. 00 per extra person per natt.) Den har tre dubbelsÀngar och tvÄ madrasser med dubbelsÀng pÄ loftet. Den har ett kök, badrum, matplats och en fantastisk utsikt. Om extra sÀngar behövs finns det R. V. hyror tillgÀngliga ocksÄ som kan föras till platsen för dig i nÀrheten av stugan. TÀlt kan ocksÄ lÀggas pÄ landet. (25. 00 per tÀlt per natt) SÀngklÀder och handdukar tillhandahÄlls och det möblerade köket Àr utmÀrkt att laga din egen mat. Det ligger i ett mycket privat vackert tre-omrÄde, men bara 5 minuter frÄn huvudvÀgen. Goose Island Pond ligger precis framför fönstren och besöks av kanadensiska gÀss, Loons och Beavers. Det har ett arvtema med omrÄdets legendariska karaktÀrsbilder och historier pÄ vÀggarna. Verkligen en unik och trevlig upplevelse. Det finns en stor vacker fiskersjö precis nedför kullen (Payne-sjön) och byn Mountain View ligger bara 4 km öster dÀr mat och gas kan köpas. Du kan ocksÄ njuta av utbudet av vilda blommor pÄ de grÀsbevuxna kullarna bredvid stugan. Det finns ocksÄ en 2 km vandring som kan tas upp till Little Beaver Lake i nÀrheten. Naturligtvis Àr Waterton National Park ett mÄste se och erbjuder ridturer, bÄtturer, restauranger, bergsspÄr, stora sjöar och fantastiska vilda blommor och vilda liv att njuta av. Stadsplatsen Waterton ligger bara 20 minuter bort.

Amazing location with view of pond life. Watched the moose, ducks, heron deer and beavers like it was a show put on for us. Nice isolated spot surrounded by nature, but not far from Mountain View and Cardston. Hosts were very quick to respond to any questions and went out of their way to accommodate our needs!

We had a very nice stay at this cabin. It is very quiet and secluded. Most of our time was spent hiking in Waterton and this was a good place to use as a base for our adventures. The cabin was clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed and Cheryl even put some ice cubes in the freezer for us.

What a wonderful place! Enjoy the amazing birds and wildlife sounds. The host was very hospitable and responsive! While our 16 year old nearly fainted when he learned there was no wifi, as parents, we loved the tranquility. Would stay again!

Beautiful and serene

It was about 25 or so minutes from Waterton, easy drive, beautiful drive. Comfortable cabin with everything you need. So quiet and peaceful with no one around, no noise, all the stars in the sky at night. We loved it.

This was our third visit to Trappers and we love it there. The cabin and the grounds are perfect. We hope that the planned developments for RV lots nearby doesn't change the wonderful seclusion and peacefulness of this beautiful and unique retreat. We were dismayed by the people on ATVs coming through; we didn't have that the first year, and we felt bad telling them that we didn't want them coming there, as we're paying for the quietness and privacy. We want to visit Trappers again as it is a special place and we really do love it there. Thanks so much

Fantastic!

We absolutely loved our time at the cabin. The property is beautiful and peaceful. We would go in to Waterton and do the tourist things , then return to the cabin for peace and quiet ! The cabin had all that we needed. We stayed at the beginning of August so all the saskatoons were ripe.. we could have lived off saskatoons. We made good use of the bbq and firepit too. The kids had a great time, as did we all! It’s very isolated .. we didn’t see any other people, which was wonderful.

Family 3 day getaway.

Views and wildlife spotting are wonderful, we even saw a moose in the water one evening. Everything you need for a quiet getaway, and close to Waterton.

Lovely cabin in the middle of the woods and there is a peaceful pond infront of it with muskrats swimming. Lots of birds and a couple deer visited. So zen. Peaceful. All you hear is nature. Away from the rustling and bustling of the city. Loved it there. And our host is very nice, and helpful. Even gave us a free tour of their heritage farm and the kids get to play and pet animals in their farm. Truly a wonderful experience.

Peaceful stay

This cabin is perfect for peace and quiet! The pond offers wonderful wildlife viewing. My husband loved all the water foul and a great bird book in the cabin. There are no luxuries here! The bedrooms are quite small and mattresses are questionable.

What a beautiful place. It was close to where we wanted to go (30 min from Waterton townsite) but quiet and private. The pond was so serene and the stargazing was great. Comfortable and well appointed, if I could buy a place like this for retirement I would do it in a heartbeat.

Hi, I am Cheryl Davidsen and was born and raised in this beautiful area. I am married to Eugene Davidsen and we have a family of five boys, two girls along with 10 grandkids.
I come from a long line of ancestors that settled this Mountain View/Waterton area and I am extremely blessed to have lived here almost all of my life. I am also a musician and song writer and have entertained many audiences in the area with my songs of heritage and legendary characters. If you ever need a few songs around the campfire at the cabin I would be glad to oblige - just give me a call.
