Den finaste sandstranden på Indian Lake! Bekväma, rena och mysiga hus med två våningar. 2 sovrum (drottning och full), 2 fulla badrum plus utomhus slutna dusch och handfat med varmt och kallt vatten. Alla sängkläder och handdukar som tillhandahålls.
Tvättmaskin, torktumlare, diskmaskin. Fullt utrustat kök. 2 platt-TV, DVD. Wi-Fi. Stort däck med gasgrill, docka, flytande baddock ca 200 meter från stranden. Hisnande solnedgångar. Användning av kanot (användning på egen risk).
Fredlig 200 tunnland klar, vårmatad sjö med 2 öar. Stor sandstrand för bad. Sjön är grunt så att den värms snabbt upp på sommaren. Det bästa bas- och picknickfisket precis utanför din egen brygga. Tio minuter till havsstränder, restauranger, shopping. Tjugo minuter till Newport. Bra restauranger, kafé, gym inom en mil. Fem mil till University of Rhode Island. Vacker 6 mil cykelväg några mil bort. Detta är ett fredligt familjeområde.

Lovely lake stay…

We had a lovely week at this charming lake cottage. Though it is on the petite side, the owner has made wonderful and efficient use of all the available space. The deck, dock and lake make this spot exceptional. We loved the views, the boats and the peacefulness of being on the water.

Summer

The stay was fantastic. The house was perfect, well equipped with everything we needed and the best location. The house is less than 15 minutes from the Restaurant, shopping and hiking trails. The sunsets were beautiful every evening.

Our week at Indian Lake

The house was comfortable and had many basic accommodations. We really enjoyed the lake front and dock. The stay was quiet and relaxing but the location allowed for access to a lot of activities. We would recommend staying there and will probably rent again.

Summer Getaway

4th year coming to the lake house and another great stay! Our family looks forward to this vacation every year, even the dog! Tracy is always accommodating and gets back to you quickly! Weather did not cooperate but we were still able to enjoy the lake and restaurants! Already looking forward to next year!

Another great stay!

So happy that we could finally return to this cozy lake house. We haven’t been there since Covid. Beautiful sunsets on the lake and plenty of great fishing, kayaking and swimming. Great location for families with young kids!

This is a wonderful, well maintained property.

We had a terrific vacation! The house has everything you need for a great week. Your own beach, dock and deck. Close to all South County dining and attractions. We think anyone would enjoy a stay at this house on Indian Lake.

Great house, great location

Our family of 3 plus dog loved staying at the house. We used the house's canoe to get out onto the lake and also swam in the lake. Beautiful sunsets, too. Location is 15-20 minute drive from Narragansett and Scarborough ocean beaches. Wakefield and Wickford are also easy drives from the house. Small cottage perfectly met our needs.

Relaxing, beautiful spot

Great location, great house, great property manager. This was our 2nd year and we will be back. The house is clean, cozy, and fun. The lake is warm and the beach is sandy. The ocean is not far away. Best of both worlds.

Great lake cottage

My husband and I found the cottage to be perfect for our needs. We brought our dog, and the property was great for him as well. The cottage is located close to some of our favorite places - Beavertail state park, Point Judith, Wakefield, and Wickford, to name a few. The cottage was equipped with everything necessary for a nice vacation. We had no complaints whatsoever.

Another great stay!

This is my fourth year vacationing in this cozy cottage. Every year, the owner Tracy, makes more improvements to make it even a nicer stay than the previous year. We love having our own dock and being right next to the neighborhood dock as well. Fishing and swimming are great. This year we caught more bass than we ever have before! It's a nice relaxing vacation with beautiful sunsets. We thank Tracy for trusting us with her cottage and for giving us the best way to start our summer!

Perfect Location

This was the second property that we have rented on Indian Lake. The location is perfect - close to beaches, shopping, and many restaurants. Even during what was assumed to be a busy "vacation" week, the lake was very peaceful with little boat traffic and hardly any use of the association beach which abuts this property. The lake was perfect temp to cool off after a day trip or for spending a lazy day floating, relaxing and enjoying a cold beverage. Sunsets were perfect. Tracy was great to work with and responded promptly to all questions/issues I sent her way.

Great time on the lake again!

This is our third year staying at this lake house. The owner Tracy has made some nice improvements to the house and as always there is everything we need to have a pleasant stay, even water toys and loungers for the lake. It very peaceful and we love the sunsets and plenty of opportunities to catch fish. We discovered a new car museum in Portsmouth/Newport area which was awesome. If you or your kids are into sports cars, this is a must see museum! It's always a good time and my boys love coming here year after year. Tracy is great to deal with and we thank her for renting her home to us year after year!

Tranquil vacation on idyllic lake

My family and I stayed at this house for a week in August 2017. The lake was perfect for fishing and swimming. The water is very clean with little to no boat traffic or noise. The private dock and small sandy beach are also great. It would have been better if the yard was fenced in as I have a small child and a dog, but none of the neighbors had fences so it could possibly be against community association rules. Otherwise, cozy and clean house; minutes away from amazing ocean beaches; short drive to Newport; and perfect spot right on the lake with some of the prettiest sunsets I've ever seen. Highly recommend this rental.

Nice location, nice pond, somewhat noisy

The cottage was small but nice and clean, perfect for a couple or a family of 3-4. The location was just perfect close de beaches, towns and roads. The pond is nice but with a lot of herbs because it's shallow. The kitchen was a little short on plates, glasses and china in general but otherwise well equipped. The only real bad point is that the cabine is close to the road and in a quite noisy neighbourghood. A lot of barking dogs al around the cottage and a public boat ramp just beside the proprerty with kids playing on it. A lot of land mowing during weekdays. It felt somehow more like a familial suburb than a peacefull nature retreat.

Love this Cottage!

This was the best vacation for my family yet! This cottage was perfect for us. Even though it was small, it had everything we needed. We had great weather so we spent most of our days outside in the canoe, fishing from the private dock and enjoying the beautiful sunsets with our dog! We caught fish (large mouth bass, pumpkin seed, pickerel, and yellow perch) every day, which made my 9 and 6 year old boys very happy which means my husband and I had a good time too :-) Even though the cottage is in a quiet neighborhood, it's close to great beaches, restaurants and ice cream places. We locked ourselves out of the house on one of the days and Tracy returned our call right away and fixed the situation for us. She was really helpful and understanding and an overall joy to deal with. We would love to make this our yearly getaway if Tracy will have us back!

Adorable bungalow

I was super impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was from a tools and appliances standpoint! Lots of towels available for beach and showers and we appreciated being able to dine outdoors with plastic ware as well. Really cute home, and my pups loved that they can walk into the water and still be leashed to trees nearby. Guests need to really read the amenities available. There are absolutely no spices, cooking oil, flour, coffee etc available so be aware you must bring everything including shampoo and conditioner — this isn’t a complaint as none were promised, just a heads up. Another caution if you have dogs is to bring 2 baby gates to close off the deck, and be aware the property is right next to the resident’s beach and dock so lots of visitors (my dogs barked and barked so kept them inside much of the time). Also, you are expected to bring the very large recycling and trash barrels to the street. As a 66 year old five foot tall woman, I struggled getting them over the 12” concrete retaining wall. Would hope the owners consider hiring someone to bring out the bins .

Excellent stay - I highly recommend

We couldn't have asked for a better stay. This is our first time renting a house so the owner has set a really high bar for our future rentals. She was wonderful to work with: quick to reply, easygoing, and provided lots of suggestions and tips for good places to visit in the area. The house was super clean and very charming. It's furnishing are very simple (nothing fancy), which we prefer since we were bringing our 2 young boys. Besides, the wall of windows facing the lake is all the decoration this house needs! The owner thought of everything with regard to stocking the house with necessities. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and the lake view is so picturesque. You really can't imagine the tranquility and beauty of the lake, especially at sunset and sunrise (even better when a couple resident swans are swimming by). The house's dock, private beach and very shallow, warm water make this property perfect for families with young children. We came at the end of June and the water was already very warm, clean and crystal clear. Our sons had a blast fishing right off the dock (and yes they both caught at least one)! There is even a nice little neighborhood playground a short walk away that a friendly neighbor told us about. We spent half our week not even leaving the property and half at local beaches 10 minutes away. It is so close to everything! I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.
