Fantastisk utsikt över viken och den enorma rullande vilda blomman fyllde centrala ängen i Cove Meadow. Ägare Hanteras med ett öga på detaljer och med tanke på din komfort och njutning av allt som är här för att uppleva. . Ligger på 10 magiska tunnland med mestadels öppen äng omgiven av ställen med gamla träd och mossmatta skogar med en tredjedel mil privat strand. Stugan har sin egen exklusiva två tunnland och 300 fot strandpromenad. Egen ekologisk köksträdgård och egen exklusiv eldstad. Delad användning med annan stuga med två kajaker och en kanot. På platslansering för din lilla båt. En lugn och fridfull tillflyktsort för kontemplation, eller ett speciellt tillfälle .. en favorit bland författare, konstnärer, fotografer, naturister, erfarna vildmarkspaddlare, fiskare och amatörastronomer. Kajaklanseringsplats på fastigheten ger erfarna havskajakare en underbar daglig avresa för att utforska de många närliggande öarna i vår spektakulära skärgård i säkerheten i vattnet utanför vår upptagna hamn. Juli till oktober strax före och efter högvatten fisk randig bas direkt från vår strand eller med kanot. Läckra musslor och söta vilda musslor direkt från vår strand. Eagles, Osprey, Kingfishers varje dag och en tillfällig säl eller oter. Dubbelsäng i Master B / r..Enkel i Guest B / R båda klädda med dunalternativ ovanpå goda madrasser, med mycket fina sängkläder. Beautiful Setting

Beautiful little respite

My husband and I enjoyed our visit to Stonington Cottage. It's a gorgeous spot and comfortable cottage. The owner was so helpful in filling us in on area interests, restaurants and things not to be missed. The quiet and restfulness of the spot was so lovely.

A magical place

We loved our week in this artfully decorated and very comfortable cottage overlooking tidal Crockett Cove. Hugely enjoyed the place, its immediate environs and also the broader area. Greatly enjoyed periodic interactions with owner Lindsay who provided great recommendations about local sights and activities.

Storybook location

This cottage is perfect in every way, from the hand-painted floors to the gauzy curtains swaying in the breeze. Lindsey was a perfect host. Stonington is idyllic. We loved our stay!

A true gem on Deer Isle

We loved our stay here! We are completely charmed by the natural beauty of the location. The owner Lindsay is dedicated to preserving the native flora of the property's meadow, forest, and cove. We delighted in the cove's low and high tide's changing landscape and fauna. Lindsay was a wonderful and gracious host, who was responsive to our little family's needs. Our only regret was not staying longer.

Peaceful Retreat

We really enjoyed our week at Cove Meadow. The cottage was cozy and clean and perfect for my daughter and I to retreat to after hiking and exploring. Lindsay was great at communicating and providing wonderful recommendations!

Peace and Quiet

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ve fallen in love with Stonington over the past several years, and this trip made it so memorable. Having access to the kayaks was amazing, and we loved being so close to downtown. We saw thousands of fireflies light up the meadow at night and the view of the cove and meadow never gets old. There’s even a decent stocked market right down the road. We can’t wait to come back.

Such a beautiful property

This is by far the best property I've ever vacationed at. It is cozy, private and has a beautiful view. The host is accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. She really goes above and beyond. This is a lovely island with alot of history and great seafood. You will not regret staying here!

Maine Paradise!

Best vacation ever with the most wonderful host, Lindsay! She made us feel right at home and we are so grateful to her for sharing her adorable cottage with its ringside seat to the glory of nature. The cove, the adjoining meadow, and Deer Isle itself are beautiful beyond what words can describe. We highly recommend this getaway spot and can't wait to return!!!

Soooo much nicer than we imagined

Extremely beautiful location! Very cozy cottage with great views. Cottage has all the amenities you would need for "staying put", but not far from hiking trails, shops, restaurants, and lobster boats! Owner was always available if needed and gives GREAT advice on where to go and what to do. Awesome getaway for a couple to decompress and breathe. We will be coming back for sure!

Early summer stay

We enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable, bright, charming Maine cottage on a scenic inlet overlooking the cove. Simple, creative accommodations; enjoyed fresh cut, beautifully arranged flowers from her garden. Lindsay is such a thoughtful host.. she surprised us one day with a box of fresh strawberries. At night, the meadow was full of fireflies. A very special place.

Lovely stay

Lovely property. House very clean and quaintly decorated. Did not realize the owners house was right next door. She was a lovely host and did not intrude on us. We wanted to be in a private spot. Overall I would recommend a stay. Lovely trail down to the water front. So relaxing.

Simply amazing

Very simple little cottage with a meadow Fresh flowers and the water Never experienced high tide and low tide in such a fashion Quaint lost in time and perfect for a peaceful rest. Stonington and Dear Isle are sweet little villages Lindsay has done an amazing job saving this little piece of heaven

What a peaceful place to unwind.

The cabin is a great place to relax and watch the changing tides and colors of the cove. Everything is neat and clean. Having our own herb garden and apple tree plus clams to dig were a bonus. Our hostess is a remarkable and friendly lady. It was hard to leave and we plan to return!

Enchanting Cottage

An enchanting cottage nestled on the shore of a stunning cove. Lindsay is a considerate and helpful hostess. A canoe and 2 kayaks make for an adventure…and wait until you try digging for clams! We had the time of our lives and hope to return in the future.

Amazing stay at Cove Meadow

My husband and I were looking for a peaceful relaxing ‘get away’ in a place of natural beauty. Cove Meadow couldn’t have been more perfect. This cottage is quaint and comfortable. The setting and surrounding area gorgeous. The cottage sits above the bay, surrounded by a lovely wildflower meadow . Lindsay, the owner, was the perfect hostess; Knowledgeable about the area and helpful in every way. We’d highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves nature, the sea, and who also enjoys the charm of a small seaside village. Stonington is delightful!

I have restored to pristine conservation standards and done the main house and its guest house and gardens to honor Maine and island traditions of simplicity.
