Lake Ethel har tillgång till allmänheten och en sandig, ogräsfri botten endast bröstet djupt i slutet av bryggan. Denna robusta stuga ligger bara några meter från stranden av den vackra Ethel-sjön. Den kan sova 4 bekvämt i två sovrum och 2 till på en futon. Denna stuga har 3/4 badrum, kök och vardagsrum. Fördjupa dig i hela Lake Ethels skönhet genom att kliva på ett fullständigt däck eller njuta av det från insidan genom en av två glasdörrar vid sjön. Nytt för 2017 är stugan utrustad med wi-fi och vi har licens som en hyresfastighet i Otter Tail County. Nytt under 2018 har vi lagt till ett vattenreningssystem för att rena dricksvattnet.

Relaxing

Ethel Get-Away 2023

We had a very good time. Very nice, clean cabin & the lay out was convenient for the 2 of us. Close to the Lake with beautiful scenery. The Hosts are very nice people. Would recommend this cabin.

Perfect Getaway from the Cities

Thanks for accommodating us on such a short notice. I needed a getaway to refresh and this was perfect. It was close to other lakes and easy to get around. We had a wonderful time.

Little getaway

Great place to stay. Breathtaking view of lake and autumn trees. Had a great time fishing. Loose dogs was a little concern but overall was not too much of problem, with my own dog. We would definitely stay again, next season.

Perfect place to relax

The property was in a great location with great views of the lake. The deck with table and picnic table, the big swing, the grill and the fire pit made enjoying the lake easy. And being able to use the boats was a great addition. Just a great place to stay. We will be back.

Lake Ethel cabin

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this charming Lake Ethel cabin. It’s a true quintessential Minnesota cabin. We had a wonderful time, the neighbors and property owner were extremely nice and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Next time though it will be in the summer because the lake was so clean and clear with a beautiful sandy bottom, great for swimming.

On Lake Time

Beautiful, relaxing spot for a week at the lake with my college-aged daughters. The lake was perfect for swimming, floating, and kayaking, and the cabin was clean and comfortable. The deck, just a few steps from the lake, was absolutely delightful. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Fun in the sun!!!

What’s not to love at this vacay stay!!!! Even though they are people living in the houses, . is very quiet and the house is very clean as always. We plan to stay there for my birthday as we did for my husband‘s birthday for the second time there and the restaurants around Ottertail are wonderful. Very tasty.

Nice place.

Nice cabin with a beautiful view from the large deck. Accommodations were more than adequate for the two of us and could easily manage 4-6. Also very thoughtful with extras like coffee and spices. Host was very accommodating when we asked to move our reservation out a day. Good location between other lakes and lake towns. We would go back again.

Not your usual “resort” property.

Charming “lake house” in an intimate residential area. Stunning Lakeview with farmland all around. By”not your usual resort” I mean very quiet. The owners live next door. So very personal attention. Thank you for 4 delightful weeks!

Had to cancel stay.

Storm came in the first night took out many trees blocked road and cut electrical. That meant no water, lights, toilet,air conditioning,cooking. Not livable. But would rebook if fixed.

Great stay great host

Stayed from April 29 till May 2nd. Wonderful property, with everything in the cabin spotless. The area is so quiet and peaceful which is what we were looking for. Unfortunately the dock wasn’t out out so we couldn’t fully take advantage of the aquatic activities. Not the host fault, just had a longer colder winter this year. The cabin was heated nicely and everything in the cabin was great. Had wood provided for bonfires which were very nice at night. Had a propane grill provided with all tools needed for grilling. There is two small towns located about 10 minutes from the cabin, both towns had nice towny restaurants. Cabin was right on the lake shore, something you can’t find often with vacation rentals. Definitely planning on staying again at this cabin as everything was great

Great space, faulty description/execution

The location and setting were perfect, nice cabin on the lake. However there were issues. Ad lists Wifi. There is no usable wifi, it was not the point of our visit but was promised and inconvenient. Gas grill, no gas. Fire pit wood provided. Not really. Owner communicated that life jackets available then told me otherwise when I asked where I could find them. Did find them in the shed. Ultimately we enjoyed our stay and glad we came. Only wish the execution of the information in the listing was more accurate or followed through. As such we were somewhat disappointed.

We have been enjoying Lake Ethel's beauty together since 1980 when Sandy's parents first purchased the property next door. We were fortunate enough to purchase that property from them in 1999 which enabled us to continue enjoying this beautiful lake. We live in the Twin Cities area and are raising six children, all of whom enjoy all Lake Ethel has to offer.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We purchased a lake cabin on this lake from Sandy's parents who first purchased the property back in 1980. We have enjoyed spending time at this lake since then. As our six children continue to grow and eventually begin their own families, we anticipate the need for more space at the lake, so when this cabin became available, we purchased it to accommodate our family's future growth. In the meantime, we are able to share these great experiences with others.

This cozy cabin sits just a few feet from the lakeshore, and you cannot help but feel relaxed as you enjoy fishing or boating by day and the cool breezes and loon calls at the campfire by night. This lot offers a shallow, weed-free swimming area, great for the kids! Feel free to bring your own boat or use ours and keep it on our small boat lift. We can provide you multiple ways to enjoy the lake: enjoy the view while connected to wi-fi, with a paddleboat, canoe, or kayaks if you would like--just ask us! We are a licensed rental property in Otter Tail County!
