Ligger på övre planet av den historiska Pier 14 Pilot Station (fortfarande drivs av Columbia River Pilots) Pilot House är en elegant inredda lyxsvit i hjärtat av Astoria historiska vattnet. Omgiven av vatten, nästan alla rum har en panoramautsikt över Columbiafloden.
1700 kvadratfot enhet har 3 sovrum, 3 bad med 4 gaskaminer. Det rymliga vardagsrummet finns skinnmöbler med en queen-size bäddsoffa. Det finns ett fullt utrustat gourmet kök med en matsal som har plats för 10 personer. Det stora sovrummet svit har en king size säng, badrum med jacuzzi och dusch med en privat däck utanför till floden.
The Pilot House har värmen och känslan i ett hem med avancerade funktioner i ett fyrstjärnigt hotell. Byggnaden renoverades 2005 och är noterat på National Historic registret över historiska platser. Inuti hittar du museum kvalitet maritima artefakter hela.
Astoria är den perfekta oasen för något intresse ... historia, naturupplevelser, eller maritim verksamhet. Pilot House ligger inom gångavstånd till restauranger, shopping, och många lokala attraktioner. Både 5-mil strandpromenad och vagn linje körs precis utanför dörren.

We have stayed here for several years. The six of us love it, especially the two kids--they love to watch the big ships come in and out and the pilot boats going to meet them. The check in process is easy and the kitchen is fine.

Beautiful Spot in the Heart of Downtown

We had a great time during our stay. The views are incredible, the pilot house was incredibly spacious and walking distance to so many fun things. I would 100% book this again if I were planning another trip to Astoria.

We came back

This place is fantastic. This was the second time I have stayed there. Both times the place was spotless clean. Great restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Beautiful views of the river and a very responsive host. We had one misunderstanding about how the showers work but that was on us not the host. I will keep coming back.

Annual Gals week

Endlessly interesting to watch the shipping and pilot boat activities just outside every window. The secure parking was great so there was no worry about the cars, and the walkability to bakeries, top notch restaurants and many attractions was like a mini-European vacation. Urban, yet surrounded by natural beauty. The rooms were private and very quiet for peaceful sleeping. The beds were very comfortable. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful and unique property

My dad, brother and I stayed here for a weekend and loved it. Really beautiful place with an amazing view of the Columbia, ships, sea lions and the town. Perfect location to be able to explore Astoria on foot. Will definitely try to come back one day.

Perfect Place for Book Talk!

The Pilot House provided an ideal spot—with stunning weather a bonus—for our book group to consider the titles we would be reading for the upcoming year. The space is comfortable and beautifully appointed, warm and inviting. All eight of us felt sad to leave and hopeful that we would be able to return to the charming town of Astoria with its eye on the future as it honors the past.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The property is on the National Historic Register. Built in 1904 by the Callender Navigation Company for the headquarters for their tug and barge business. Also, Pier 14 served as the terminus of the Megler Ferry which made the crossing to and from Washington.

The long history in the maritime industry continues today as the communication center and pilot boat launch for the Columbia River Pilots. The Pilot House gives you a front row seat to viewing pilots boarding and disembarking from the passing ships.
