Very spacious. Great location with places to shop or eat in same building or just next door. 10-15 min easy walk to stores, restaurants and Gondola. We really appreciated the code to access instead of having to go to the office to get a key.

View of Keystone trails was breathtakingly beautiful from the condo.The location was perfect for our family of six. Less than 10 minute walk to the river run gondola We only gave the location 4 stars because the floors, blankets, bathroom rugs were in need of washing. The washer was broken for the first week of our stay and the kitchen light did not work for the first four days. It made cooking a challenge

Great for our Ski trip

Great place with lots of space… large rooms and restrooms… perfect for a getaway with friends or family. Also we were pleased to find some space in the overflow parking areas for our extra vehicle

Summer in Keystone

The property was a great size and great location for the price, especially for a three bedroom with king-size beds in two of them. We had a wonky issue with the door locks, but the management company was very accessible and responsive, and we resolved it amicably. Otherwise, the property offered easy access to great food options, and it was away from the summer crowds in Silverthorne, Dillon, Frisco, and Breckinridge while still being close enough to those cities (and Buena Vista for white water rafting) that you don't miss out on anything they have to offer.

We had a few issues with being unable to use the master bathroom shower because the shower door would not stay closed. Also, one of the sinks leaked quite a bit due to a bad O-ring, so it wasn't really useable. Aside from those small issues, the stay was more than satisfactory.

Cheap, Poor Quality

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental unit was decent but it's apparent management cheaped out on many of the details/amenities. The kitchen light fixture was broken, the tissues and toilet paper were 1/2 ply, they only provided bar soap for showers, they didn't provide hand soap in the kitchen, the pillows were pathetically thin, the third "bedroom" has no vents or windows and is next to a furnace and is unbearably hot, even with the thermostat and fireplace off, and the washer and dryer are not functional. DO NOT USE THE WASHER AND DRYER. We put our clothes in there and ran it twice, and there was still soap in the washer unwashed. The clothes were completely soaked. We then ran it through the dryer for two hours through two different cycles, and they were still sopping wet. Just poor quality all around in the house.

The only item reported to our team during your stay was the kitchen light fixture. We did inform you at that time that the replacement part had already been ordered but had not yet arrived. No additional concerns were communicated to us while you were in the home. Had we been made aware of the other issues mentioned, we would have promptly sent maintenance or housekeeping to address any serviceable items. Our properties are stocked with standard amenities that are consistent with the majority of professional property management companies in the area and include starter quantities of paper products and basic soaps. As preferences for items such as pillow firmness and amenity brands can vary widely, these are not customized to individual guest preferences. The layout of the home, including the configuration of the third bedroom, is accurately reflected in the listing details so guests can make an informed booking decision prior to arrival. We appreciate you sharing your feedback and regret that your stay did not meet your expectations. Guest comments are reviewed internally to help guide future improvements where appropriate.

Bad Experience with Property Management Company

This property ended up having bed bugs so we weren't able to stay here. The property management company contacted us in advance of our stay to move us to another unit (understandable given the circumstances). Our interactions with the property management company were not pleasant - so much so that we will go out of our way to avoid renting any properties that use Summit County Mountain Retreats ever again. To make a long story short they are a hot mess. We interacted with at least five employees and all were consistently hard to work with. The company tried to hide their contractual obligations and tried really hard to not follow through on them. It took lots of phone calls and emails to get everything sorted out and they still ended up overcharging us. So if you rent through them make sure you read the entire contract before signing anything. Print it out and be prepared to read it to them if you have any issues whatsoever. Unless you can point out the specific paragraph you are referring you to they won't honor it. After we moved to the unit in Keystone we did end up staying in the company was fine. I cannot rate the actual unit described here since we weren't able to stay due to the bedbug infestation. I know they were working on fixing that problem so I assume that will be okay. I won't stay here in the future solely based on the management company.

Hi Jennifer, We are so sorry to hear about the unfortunate experience you had during your stay. I would like to take this opportunity to address the issues you experienced. VRBO provides a cost breakdown of your nightly rent plus all fees before booking. So when you say “The cost per night was over double what is listed” I was not quite sure what you meant. Unfortunately it is always more expensive to book through third party platforms (as you are subject to their service fee) than it would have been to book directly. We do our best to accommodate as many early check-ins and late check-outs as possible, but unfortunately those are not always an option. We manage nearly 400 properties and due to the time required to clean a unit between stays, these options are not always available. Air conditioning is extremely uncommon in Summit County as even in the hottest summer months, the temperature really does not get high enough for it to be necessary. This was not mentioned in the listing as this is not a norm in our area. Like you mentioned, this is a brand new unit in a brand new building. The hot tubs do exist but unfortunately they are not yet available for guest use. This was our mistake and we sincerely apologize for this error. Any mention of hot tubs has since been removed. You were offered a refund by our reservations team and have had the opportunity to speak to our management on more than one occasion. I assume this review was left prior to your conversations with our management, however if you are still unhappy with our response please do not hesitate to reach back out to us directly. We hope to have the opportunity to redeem ourselves and host you again at some point in the future.

Very spacious, great view, 2 main rooms had their own bathrooms and separate (kids) room had its own bathroom as well just separated. The building the property is in has many shops located within in which was very convenient. Shared Hot tub was very hot which was great since most aren't.

Spacious, Clean Condo

Great condo! One bedroom has a big balcony, king bed, shower/tub combo. Second bedroom has queen bed and private bath. Third bedroom is right off the living room with twin over full bunks. There’s a full 3rd bathroom in the hallway. Condo is located right next to the elevator so convenient when hauling ski gear! It’s spacious and very clean! A few notes (that don’t take away from how great the condo is)-if you’re staying more than a day or so, bring your own toiletries. There’s not much provided. The kitchen is stocked, but very lightly. Don’t plan on cooking a gourmet meal, but we cooked full meals every night with no issues. The bus picks up right at the condo and it’s the last stop before river run, so getting to the mountain is very easy! But coming home takes a long time with all the stops. We chose to walk, but it is about a half mile from the base of the gondola to the condo. There is a heated pool and hot tub, but it is indoors. Communication with property manager was great and check-in/out was very simple.

Outperformed the pics and recent reviews

We were party of five. Unit presented better in person that the pictures. Plenty of space. Unit does have washer/dryer which doesn’t show in pictures. Checkin was easy and underground parking in basement was nice. Easy .5 mile walk to river run Gondola or can take shuttle if the timing works out. There is stop at entrance to lobby. Decent ski locker area on lobby level. We had keystone sports door to door delivery right to the lobby. The only negative condition we found with the unit was that the ski locker had a malfunctioning lock. However, you need code to get into the building itself and also a code to get into ski locker room so it still felt secure. All bedding, mattresses and furniture was very clean. Well stocked kitchen. Little convenience grocery off the lobby for forgotten items/beverages. Hard to find a better value for your dollar during ski season.

Great quiet place to relax and enjoy the scenery and climb some trails.

The property was as expected and photographed. The balcony's were quite small and needed 2 more chairs for the balcony off the master suite. There is no air conditioning or ceiling fans, so plug in fans had to be used. The pool and hot tub were very inviting. The location was close to many fun things and shopping. Wish we had a chance to use the grill and table by the pool for a cookout, but time was limited. Would love to return next year for more than 4 days. Barbara-Jean
